Fantastic spot for camping and incredibly detailed directions on where to go. Very secluded and private field with minimal almost no vehicle traffic on the lane and not much on the road leading to it either. Great communication from host Emmalyn and everything was exactly as we expected it. Definitely expect some wildlife as we saw some really cool birds and even heard coyotes in the distance. We will definitely be back if we are in the area. Thanks again Emmalyn!

This was our very first Hipcamp stay, and it couldnât have been better! Communication with our host, Emmalyn, was excellent from start to finish. The site was easy to findâeven in the darkâand exactly as described. It was very peaceful and relaxing. We had the pleasure of meeting Emmalyn and her husband Zach in person, and they are truly wonderful people. Trying a new service can be a little nerve-racking, but they made the experience smooth and enjoyable. We highly recommend their site and would absolutely stay again!

Would definitely recommend. The camp spot was as described, wide open, mostly level with picnic table, and solo stove with fire wood! Directions were clear and accurate. Stayed for 1 night with 3 overland vehicles. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Beautiful spot! Stayed for a quick overnight and was a great place to wake up, have some coffee, and make breakfast before getting back on the road. Good cell service (Verizon). I had the place to myself and it was incredibly peaceful. It does not have any amenities (water, toilet, etc), but there was a picnic table, solo fire pit, and fire wood. Still a great spot, just be prepared.

The site was peaceful and perfect for a reset. The area was beautiful on the drive in, but I never felt the need to leave Emmalynâs land. When booking, I mentioned that I needed an escape from everything. The perfect hosts always know when a guest needs space. They were nearby if needed, and offered a wave in passing. Iâm grateful for the opportunity to share their land for a few days.

I spent the nite on Emmalyns field. The site was level and the fire wood bin full . Had the pleasure to see a young black bear run across the field. I wish it hadnât been overcasted as Iâm sure the stars would out. My dog loved that she could run

This was my first experience with Hip Camp and I will definitely use it again. Emmalynâs land was beautiful, private, and peaceful - yet close to town and activities. I was even able to sleep outside my tent under the stars and watch a meteor shower as there were no mosquitos!

Just as advertised. The pictures and description are accurate and we enjoyed our stay. Very quiet, clean and peaceful. The first day we arrived we passed a bear on the road just before turning onto Adair ln and the next day while sitting at our campsite a mother bear and her two cubs strolled by, this was very cool to us! We brought our dog and she enjoyed her freedom while being a safe distance from the road. We walked that road (Adair Ln)a bit also, A nice walk, very few cars traveled it during the walk or our stay. Should you forget. Anything or want to venture out your just a few miles from Walmart and a few restaurants. Our host was responsive and helpful. I would stay here again and definitely recommend others do as well.

We loved every bit of our experience camping on Emmalyn's land. The directions were very clear and the site was easy to get to. They are great hosts, and the firewood service was an incredible add-on.
We loved the views and peace of the space and our dog did too. We highly recommend checking them out if you are in the area or want an easy and private getaway. We will definitely be coming back.

Nice campsite in the mountains, with good views. Picnic table, firepit, and room to throw the ball to my dog. Easy to find and accessible. Really canât ask for more.

Was peaceful. I didn't have any Lexington destination to visit, if you do a perfect place .
I was happy they had wood on site to purchase.
One of nice part of my stay was driving there and on my way home, Lynchburg, I took some amazing back roads.
I wanna quite place to reconnect...
