Our property was a small family farm for several generations. Our family purchased the property about 18 years ago. Since we are not farmers but love living here, the question became "What would be the best use for the land?" Living in a scenic area and already being in the vacation rental business on some other family property answered the question. We decided to share the beautiful view and seclusion of our area with others. Our goal was to keep the cost of building down so that we could pass on the savings to you so that you would not have to be rich to enjoy our lovely area. This inspired the idea of a glamping cabin. The cabin is actually a repurposed office building that was built about the time this property was purchased by our family. We moved it to the present location and completely remodelled it in 2018 and added the bathroom. For 4 years, guests enjoyed an off-the-grid experience. In 2023, when we began work on the glamping dome (stay tuned--coming soon!!), we decided to add electricity, running water, and a hot tub to the tiny house! We hope you enjoy the cabin (and, soon, the dome) and the stunning view from them as much as we enjoy sharing this beautiful spot with you! Note: The Charming Glamping Cabin is at a totally different property. That property also has a section that used to be farmed. Now a lot of it is forest. We purchased the property around 2000. This cabin was built approx. 10 years later. At that point, the cabin was a tiny economy cabin with a sofa bed. So calming and a good place to sleep! We were just spending the night but would be a great place to spend a weekend. Sweet cats greet you, also ducks and chickens. Fridge, microwave, and coffee pot available. Enclosed bathroom with shower and toilet inside. Great little diner down the road! Just be advised there is no signal there or the surrounding area. The wifi works well for the TV but not great for cellphones.

Weekend Trip to Camp Holly

My friends and I had a great time at Cabin 3! The hosts were quick to respond to our inquiries, and the staff were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The cabin can comfortably fit more than four people and still has plenty of space to move around. Both the indoor and outdoor bathrooms were clean. It’s the best place to relax, unwind, and enjoy good company. Highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to Revelle's River Resort

Spent a weekend during the fall season of 2025. Perfect cabin tucked away in a different section away from most of the RVs. The river runs next to it which will be wonderful during rains and when the water levels are up. We traveled as a family of 4 whereas the cabin can sleep 9 - 2 bunk beds for 4 kids. Elkins town is about 10 -15 minute drive for all groceries - Kroger, Walmart and all essentials. Strongly recommend for people who love to enjoy an RV park but want to maintain their own personal space..

Truly a magical place for exploration and relaxation. we stayed in CB1- it has 4 beds. No light or electricity but you know that beforehand. LOTS to do and quite a bit of amenities- a coffee pavilion that has outlets for charging, an abundance of firewood ($12.50 for an entire wheelbarrow full of wood), port-a-potties with toilet paper, air fresheners, sanitation wipes, and hand sanitizer. Friendly management. Breathtaking views.

It was a great find in a beautiful location. Nice sized sites. We didn’t stay in the cabin, but it was a convenient option for storing gear. And the porta john was maintained.

Loved staying at Ed's Retreat Cabin. My family and I had a wonderful time exploring, kayaking on the pond, fishing, and sitting around the campfire. The cabin had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Core memories were definitely made!

Weekend Trip to MountainTop

Upon entering the first gate I really like the open horse field. After that it was really cool to cross the stream and drive up to where the Cabin itself is located. We loved how small the Cabin was while also having everything you could need. We also enjoyed walking out on the back deck every morning and seeing the pond. One morning it rained and the sounds were beautiful. The bunk beds and couch were super comfy for sleeping each night. Will definitely be back to enjoy the peaceful, relaxing, quiet vibe of the place.

Outstanding outdoor space for fires and gathering, we cooked every night on the fire with the provided grill. The area was peaceful, and a great spot for our first time camping with out son and bird!
