The sites are just a couple feet from the bay with access to miles of beach hiking. You can walk to Bottle Beach State Park which is approximately 1 mile north or hike about a mile south to Elk River. Enjoy unobstructed views of Westport and the freight ships coming into the harbor. Enjoy a peaceful beach with amazing sunsets. Whether you are surfing for the weekend or tuna-fishing, this is your go to spot - you will not be disappointed. Westport is 7 miles by car and the Westport Winery is only 5 miles. There is two nearby boat launches - one off of Elk River just 2 miles away and the other off of Johns River launch just 6 miles away. I continue to try to be a good steward to this little piece of land with very big trees. One side faces my studio with drive through access to a bunkhouse and hookups and the other is tent camping with room to explore. With a dog yard available you will be able to relax and enjoy. Learn more about this land: Part meadow part stand of very tall trees, over 70 years old with birds, hummingbirds, deer. Choose to camp there or in a wheelchair excessable drive next to a 1940 era grocery store that is now my pottery studio. A large bunkhouse is also on site in case of rain, if not rented. Large RVs will park in the front of the property. Tent camping is in the meadow with water and fire circle. /p>

The host was very responsive to any inquiries made. The setting was very pleasant and private. The environment is conducive to birdwatching. The hookups that were available were well maintained. Be sure and follow the arrival directions by the host to ensure that you do not miss the street to get access to the Hipcamp. We very much enjoyed our time there.

Olympic Adventure Camp is an excellent choice for campers in Forks. The camp site is clean and was very quite, even for being close to the highway. It was close to town, and close to tons of sightseeing and adventures. Check in was super easy, camp host was responsive when we called to check in. The full hook up sites were also very private and we were not right on top of our neighbors. We will definitely be returning guests.

Great sites. The hosts were so kind and accommodating. The bathrooms were clean and even had a pet wash. Full hook ups and the yurts really made us want to come stay in those sometime. Will be back in a few weeks.

3 nights at Sol Duc Waterfront

A pretty campsite in a great location. All utilities worked as expected; electrical, sewer, water. Quiet and private enough for us. (For reference that means we did not use our shades on our extensive trailer windows nor was sound ever an issue.) Particulary when compared to a standard campground or even worse, a standard RV park. We would love to return.

I stayed at site 5. I really liked the extra privacy and the look-out spot for morning coffee and sunset views. There’s very little light pollution in the area, so the stars in the night sky were plentiful. Fantastic for stargazing! It was a very quiet and peaceful stay. It’s also very clean and well-maintained. I took my dog down to the beach and we had so much fun running around right before sunset. Did I mention the sunset views? Ahhhhmazing! This Hipcamp site exceeded all expectations and I would highly recommend staying here. I know I’ll be back again for sure!

Weekend Trip to Olympic Adventure Campground

We really enjoyed the location and ambiance of this campground!! The sites were clean and quaint, and although it is close to the highway we never once noticed the traffic or any noise. Really convenient to be so close to town and an easy drive to Cape Flattery, La Push and the coast, and Olympic/Hoh Rain Forest (all of which we visited and well worth it!). The only issue we had was that the office was closed/locked every time we tried to stop to sign the check in book and check out the gift shop (we stopped 5 times over the span of 3 days). John was fairly responsive to HipCamp messages and they did acknowledge our text message check in to the phone number listed on site. So we were able to let them know we arrived but never did get to see the gift shop which was a big bummer for us, we would have definitely supported! Overall a great experience and we would definitely return!!

Nice level spot. More privacy than the bay front sites. Bay is very shallow and muddy so at low tide there isn’t much water. Views across the bay towards Westport are beautiful, especially at sunset. This is my second time here.
