We can direct you to hiking and mountain biking trails in the area (Beaver Falls trailhead is 5 miles from our farm). There is a motor boat launch in the town of Clatskanie, with access to Columbia River.
There is also a launch in the city park for kayaking. The Zen Monastery is just 5 miles away. Long Beach, WA is across the Columbia River via the Astoria Bridge. Lounging about the homestead works too.

We want you to reconnect with what matters most and get some new inspiration! We are 25 minutes west of I-5, halfway between Seattle and Portland. Pacific Ocean beaches are 1.5 hours away.
Our guests love the near-by swimming hole, shared fire areas, fresh produce and clean outhouses. Meeting the farm animals, napping in the hammocks, mastering the rope swing and wandering the many paths are also memory-makers. Some of our "extras" -- Farm Tours, Propane Firebowls, Saunas, and more -- are available for purchase when you make your booking.
ALL SITES have flat tent spots, a picnic table, hammock, sun, shade, outhouse access and room to park. Sites are 300 feet apart, on average. We are located on top of Bunker Hill nestled between the Dunn creek and Chehalis river. Our property is 56 acres of mixed biomes including multi-generational forests, open meadows, and creek side trails. We are located right off Chandler Road, off of Highway 6. You turn onto Labri road (white sign) and you're on the property after going through a gate.
Meander down the road past a red barn and several buildings on your right.
Through the second gate, the dispersed camping site offers various sites for camping attached to a main trail that parallels the Dunn creek down to the Chehalis river. They are conveniently accessible off the logging roads which cross with Labri road after you've passed through the second gate. If you take the logging road to the left (look for a blue and white ribbon) you will come up to a tree line where you can park (another blue and white ribbon) and either take the trail to the left or right where you will find ample places to camp.
You may camp along the trail or closer to the creek. The most ideal spot is right after you park near the blue and white ribbon if you walk North you'll see a site marked with an orange and white ribbon. This site has easy access to the creek but is still on a hill.
There are four RV spots with full onsite hook-up. Two of the RV sites are paved and lit with ground lights and are prioritized for heavier rigs. The other two sites are on grass. We have two RV sites with no hook up (boondocking) but bathroom and shower access. We do not allow dumping of grey water or sewage at our property but there is a dump station just 1 minute away at Rainbow Falls State Park.
The site is located on a hill so you get very nice view of sunsets and sunrises. For those who enjoy bird watching the nearby fruit trees bring in many birds.
We are an ideal location for those who love the outdoors or just want to have private family events.

A tv with an assortment of dvds is available for evening entertainment as well. The pups are welcome to enjoy the cabin and two kennel runs that are accessible from inside the cabin. There is only one campsite on this property, insuring privacy and solitude during your stay. The setting is most private, the river lovely. This setting is wonderful for a quiet family getaway in the woods; it is not 'party' appropriate.
The Coweeman River runs clean and pristine. Though only 3' to 4' deep, it provides a refreshing dip on a warm summer's day. It can be used for washing and bathing and could be filtered/treated to make it potable.
A locked cabin has a large covered porch overlooking the River that is available for campers, complete with chairs and picnic table.
Well mannered, non-digging dogs are welcome (maximum 2) as long as their responsible owners clean up after them.
The camp has a pit toilet and we are asking guests to extend its life by only putting poop and pee in it. Please burn your TP or take it out with your trash.
There is a fire ring and a tub of firewood available (and refillable) on site for $10. Payment for the woodcutter is through Venmo when you return to the electronic world. If you bring your own wood keep maximum length to 20" to keep fire/ash within ring. There is a covered picnic table (10' X 10' pop up) and chairs at the fire ring.
Trash can provided. Please remove your trash.
Don't forget to bring drinking water, toilet paper (none is provided), fire starter (though our firewood is well seasoned, dry and easy to ignite), headlamp, roasting sticks for them s'mores, water shoes and tromping shoes. The closest store for supplies is 11 miles (20ish minutes) down Rose Valley Road, a small country market with basics, and fuel.
There driveway is steep but fine for 2 wheel drive vehicles. When driving out, make sure gate is open before starting the climb out.. The driveway is steepest at the gate so please do not stop there as tire spinning will result.

We want you to reconnect with what matters most and get some new inspiration! We are 25 minutes west of I-5, halfway between Seattle and Portland. Pacific Ocean beaches are 1.5 hours away.
Our guests love the near-by swimming hole, shared fire areas, fresh produce and clean outhouses. Meeting the farm animals, napping in the hammocks, mastering the rope swing and wandering the many paths are also memory-makers. Some of our "extras" -- Farm Tours, Propane Firebowls, Saunas, and more -- are available for purchase when you make your booking.
ALL SITES have flat tent spots, a picnic table, hammock, sun, shade, outhouse access and room to park. Sites are 300 feet apart, on average. Welcome to Otter Pond! Our property is on the Toutle river. We are 30 miles from Mt St Helens Forest learning center and 15 minutes to Silverlake. Lots of hiking nearby, motorcycle track, drag strip and drift car track. Or just relax with the birds, deer, eagles, ducks, geese, rabbits, neighboring cows, beavers and otters that pass through now and then.
You have acres to enjoy! Like your own mini campground. Half of our acreage is across the river-summertime is a great time to cross and explore! You can even walk up river and tube down.

Just 1.5 hours from Seattle, Portland, Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, & Olympic National Park, just 3 minutes from Rainbow Falls State Park and 4 minutes from Willapa Biking Trail!
We are located on top of Bunker Hill nestled between the Dunn creek and Chehalis river. Our property is 56 acres of mixed biomes including multi-generational forests, open meadows, and creek side trails. We are located right off Chandler Road, off of Highway 6. You turn onto Labri road (white sign) and you're on the property after going through a gate.
Meander down the road past a red barn and several buildings on your right.
Through the second gate, the dispersed camping site offers various sites for camping attached to a main trail that parallels the Dunn creek down to the Chehalis river. They are conveniently accessible off the logging roads which cross with Labri road after you've passed through the second gate. If you take the logging road to the left (look for a blue and white ribbon) you will come up to a tree line where you can park (another blue and white ribbon) and either take the trail to the left or right where you will find ample places to camp.
You may camp along the trail or closer to the creek. The most ideal spot is right after you park near the blue and white ribbon if you walk North you'll see a site marked with an orange and white ribbon. This site has easy access to the creek but is still on a hill.
There are four RV spots with full onsite hook-up. Two of the RV sites are paved and lit with ground lights and are prioritized for heavier rigs. The other two sites are on grass. We have two RV sites with no hook up (boondocking) but bathroom and shower access. We do not allow dumping of grey water or sewage at our property but there is a dump station just 1 minute away at Rainbow Falls State Park.
The site is located on a hill so you get very nice view of sunsets and sunrises. For those who enjoy bird watching the nearby fruit trees bring in many birds.
We are an ideal location for those who love the outdoors or just want to have private family events.

There is only one campsite on this property, insuring privacy and solitude during your stay. The setting is most private, the river lovely. This setting is wonderful for a quiet family getaway in the woods; it is not 'party' appropriate.
The Coweeman River runs clean and pristine. Though only 3' to 4' deep, it provides a refreshing dip on a warm summer's day. It can be used for washing and bathing and could be filtered/treated to make it potable.
A locked cabin has a large covered porch overlooking the River that is available for campers, complete with chairs and picnic table.
Well mannered, non-digging dogs are welcome (maximum 2) as long as their responsible owners clean up after them.
The camp has a pit toilet and we are asking guests to extend its life by only putting poop and pee in it. Please burn your TP or take it out with your trash.
There is a fire ring and a tub of firewood available (and refillable) on site for $10. Payment for the woodcutter is through Venmo when you return to the electronic world. If you bring your own wood keep maximum length to 20" to keep fire/ash within ring. There is a covered picnic table (10' X 10' pop up) and chairs at the fire ring.
Trash can provided. Please remove your trash.
Don't forget to bring drinking water, toilet paper (none is provided), fire starter (though our firewood is well seasoned, dry and easy to ignite), headlamp, roasting sticks for them s'mores, water shoes and tromping shoes. The closest store for supplies is 11 miles (20ish minutes) down Rose Valley Road, a small country market with basics, and fuel.
There driveway is steep but fine for 2 wheel drive vehicles. When driving out, make sure gate is open before starting the climb out.. The driveway is steepest at the gate so please do not stop there as tire spinning will result.

This place was amazing. Everything we were hoping for. Trish and Kary were fantastic. Very easy communication prior to the stay. Kary met us upon arrival. They had a great gift bag for us and even cool stuff for our pups.
The spot itself is really something. We saw a number of deer along our way. Lots of different bird varieties and countless stars at night. The river was pretty ashy after some hesvy rains but was easily accessible and there are multiple spots with seating and fire pits around. The vintage trailer on site was really nice and I showered comfortably. I’m 6’5 and had no issue!
Although I’d like to keep this place as our little secret, it’s too special not to endorse to anyone on Hipcamp!

Peaceful property tucked away from the hustle. The tent is spacious and well furnished. I enjoyed the solitude and wood fire stove.
There was a little calico feline concierge there to greet me but didn't wear a collar. After a shirt conversation we agreed their name would be Dr Concierge Dribble, as they drooled when pet. They were friendly and well behaved, be kind to Dr Dribbles if they pay a visit.

Weekend Trip to The Bunkhouse
What a beautiful, lovely place! The property is a dream - truly - so well kept with gorgeous little touches that make you know the land is loved. Sadly, my fiance had a toothache that came on in the night, and we had to depart a bit early, but I took a sunrise walk around, and tears came to my eyes as I walked up the trail to the 2 Adirondack chairs placed just perfectly to sit and smell nature, and relax - if even for a moment. The cabin itself was so well tended, thoughtful touches every that are useful touches, not just there for the 'effect'. It was warm and cozy, with such a great comfy bed and quilts and blankets that were so nice. And instructions were clear and easy to understand. This place is truly loved by the owner and communicated to the guest. We had dinner in town which is only about 10-15 minutes away at most, and it was just a great local little place to visit. So very pleased with our stay and cannot recommend this hideaway enough. It made my very busy life have a little retreat and was good for my soul. I'll post photos too!

We had a wonderful time at Brian's cabin! It was clean and comfortable, and the toilet and hot shower were so appreciated! It is truly like being alone in the woods because it is so quiet. We loved playing Scrabble and listening to John Denver on the CD player. Our dog enjoyed the off leash walk up to the water tanks and back - Brian has a gorgeous property. It was a perfect weekend getaway and we can't wait to come back.

Great camping spot for our group of (3) adults but could see this as an ideal spot for a couple. You’re close enough to civilization in case of an emergency but far enough to feel private aside from the occasional distant dog bark or donkey bray. Having a picturesque walking trail built-in was fantastic and offered a good opportunity to exercise and soak in some afternoon sun to warm during a very cold weekend.
