We are among all the lavendar farms, 5 minutes from the beach and rivers and the Dungeness wild life Refuge . We are about 10 minutes to Port Angeles and Sequim. Feels so country but so close to both towns. We have the neatest little farm store just a mile down the road . We are also located right on the Olympic Discovery Trail , miles of a paved path you can walk, run ,ride your bike or even horse back ride, through sun flower feels, lots of spring baby cows, beautiful bridges over creeks and rivers and its all free to enjoy : )

Cottage near the Strait

In 1883 Elliot Cline purchased the acres which once was home to the original New Dungeness. He laid out a town on the bluff above the sandy spit which curves out into the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Across from the farmhouse used to be a village church, the first county courthouse and the local blacksmith's shop, among other businesses and homes, including two hotels, several stores, and saloons. In 1890 the County Seat was moved to Pt. Angeles and the town swiftly declined. In 1892 the farmhouse was built, and in 1934 the beautiful bow truss barn was built. A former owner, Mr. Steel, had the barn rebuilt to modern day standards and the new owners use it occasionally for events and art workshops. Tours of the barn are available upon request.

Incredible location! This sweet cabin is nestled at the base of Mt. Jupiter, directly between Dosewallips beach and the Olympic national Park. There's lots of gorgeous, mossy maples, shaggy cedars, and elk herds roaming free. The Cabin is easily accessible from the road, and has parking available. There's a secluded fire pit behind the cabin with a seasonal stream running by. Its a relaxing place to hang out for a few days, and/or excellent basecamp to explore the amazing forests, mountains, and beaches nearby. Also, there's lots of great foraging to be done (nettles, mushrooms, and oysters; oh my!) GPS LOCATION: When driving to the cabin, your GPS will tell you that 'your destination is on the left'. This is a lie. The cabin will be on the right. There is a metal gate that is closed with a chain but not locked. CABIN LAYOUT AND SLEEPING AMENITIES: The Cabin is just a little guy; only 16'x20'. There is a kitchen, living room, and dining room area, and the bathroom is a separate room - we call it our 'studio cabin'. We have a fold out couch for which we provide linens, pillows, and a comforter. There is also an inflatable mattress that is a tight squeeze, but can allow for four people to sleep (with a little furniture rearranging). There is a deck that is large enough for a two person tent that would also make a four person camp-out comfortable. All linens and towels are stored in the trunk and the bathroom cabinet. There is a 4' round dining room table with four chairs and a small table on the porch with two more chairs. All the cushions for the chairs are in a cabinet under the table inside. ACCESSIBILITY: Unfortunately, the cabin is not wheelchair accessible. There are 5 stairs up to the deck and the bathroom door is only 27" wide. SURROUNDING AREA: There are small trails leading away from the cabin; do not walk down them! They lead to neighboring properties and I cannot guarantee that there won't be neighbors who would be very surprised by a stranger showing up on their land! There are lots of public trails only a few minutes drive in either direction from the property :) STOLEN LAND: This property is on stolen, indigenous land. If you are Coast Salish or Makah, please get in touch with me for a discounted stay.

Our Camp is situated on a little more than 5 acres out of our 18 acres of Dense Enormous Evergreen Forest. It is next to the road on Highway 101 but still offers our guests the wilderness experience and semi-privacy with tall trees surrounding the camp. We recommend that our guests use GPS to find Forks, WA, First. Once you find Forks, you will be able to find our camp. Helpful Hints: If you are traveling from the South side of town: We are only about Half a Mile from the Northbound Edge of town on the Right. If you are traveling from the North side: Watch for milepost number 193. This means you are very close. Our camp will be on the left. Our Sites were planned out and spaced to offer our guests plenty of "Elbow Room". Whether your travel plans are for pitching a Tent or parking an RV, we can help you with that. Each site has its own Details and Pricing for Booking your Reservations. We very kindly ask our guests to be patient and adaptable if ever they encounter a booking issue at our camp. Surprisingly it does happen sometimes with the online booking websites. We experienced this problem over our busiest summer season in 2023. So this is why it can be stressful on both our guests and our hosts. We simply ask of our guests to have some mercy on us as we work very hard to accommodate you even if something goes wrong. There are also some rest areas along the I-5 freeway that have free dump stations. Please be mindful to not burden our septic system by arriving here with a full tank of waste water that was accumulated elsewhere. There is a place called Bogachiel State Park that has a dump station available for RV's at the flat rate of $5.00. It is located about 5 miles south of Forks, WA. There are also some rest areas along the I-5 freeway that have free dump stations. Please be mindful to not burden our septic system by arriving here with a full tank of waste water that was accumulated elsewhere. When our guests accumulate waste water at our camp: Dumping Cost: $10.00 per 20 gallons. There is another free dumping option. Ask us about it. Some popular activities in this region include; hiking, fishing, kayaking, rafting trips. Lake Pleasant, as its name implies, located only 8 miles North of Forks is a lovely spot for swimming, boating. Our Elwha campground property has a peaceful healing vibe, with majesty all around: surrounded by forest with natural springs and the Elwha River just a walk down the trail. We have mountain peaks stand in the distance; with lakes, waterfalls, and ocean experience 5 minutes away, as well as biking and hiking trails starting right from our property. We include amenities of Wi-Fi, garden, laundry and showers, games, and more. We usually fit people to the best site available according to their preferences.
