This is a gorgeous park-like RV campground situated between the trees of the arboretum. NO TENTS, please. Also we have NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS. Beautiful view of the mountains and forests here in western Washington. We are close to Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier and several lakes.
There are walking trails all around the site. The 12 acre campground is located on a 136 acre property that is an active Christmas tree farm. Trails continue throughout the tree farm.
Many trails have a view of the Tilton River, which can be reached via a challenging 3/4 mile trail. Sites are on 12 acres planted with many different species of trees that are about 30 years old. Giant Redwoods, Cedars, and Maples are just a few of the varieties present. Part of the farm is still a working Christmas tree farm.
The trails are wide and grassy. The old logging road that we use as a trail to the river has an elevation change of about 500 feet, the trail can be quite challenging. Bear Creek empties into the Tilton river at the end of the trail.
There is an ART GALLERY where you can learn to pound flowers, see the host's artwork and get a cup of coffee! This is upstairs through the check-in entry-way. Tilton River Studio Gallery.
Three sites have electrical hookups. Every site has a water spigot (use a pressure regulator if you want to hook up). No restrooms or sewer hookups. Garbage disposal site (dumpster) available Memorial Day to Labor Day.

All of our sites have full hook-ups (water, sewer, and power). The sites are just a couple feet from the bay with access to miles of beach hiking. You can walk to Bottle Beach State Park which is approximately 1 mile north or hike about a mile south to Elk River. Enjoy unobstructed views of Westport and the freight ships coming into the harbor. There is talk about sites at the river, we have some in their premature stage. This is NOT offered through our Hip Camp site!!!!! There are reasons for this: When we initially opened, we allowed people to camp there through Hip Camp and I was getting low stars ratings because Entitled people thought for $28 bucks, they got the whole river to themselves and would fight with other campers. IT JUST GOT TO EXHAUSTING. In the coming years I’m going to try to set up some premium sites on the river and work super hard at getting amenities that will match that price. But for now, Enjoy Camp Hope and the river ACCESS too!! We appreciate the wonderful feedback everyone gives it helps us grow with you!!

We really enjoyed camping on David's land. Serious thought was put into the construction of the RV spots and you have your voice of solid surface or grass. Both options are great. We enjoyed the tall, tall trees on the east side that keep the sites in shade until late morning. Nice in the summer! The location is near Rainbow Falls State Park and some neat trails.

This is a very nice little RV campground. It is very clean and well maintained with gravel so that there is no mud during rainy times. Sites 1-4 have good views of the bay. Site 5 is up on a hill and does not have a bay view, but you can set camp chairs nearby that would have a view. We were in site 4 and angled our trailer slightly so that the rear window (where out dining table is) could have a good view. If you have a dog, it might find the gravel to be a little sharp on the paws. It would be beyond perfect if the host could guarantee the tide was always in and the weather was sunny, dry, and no wind. (lol)

We have been trailer camping at Shelby's quite a few times, and always have the best time. Getting there is a breeze and it is usually pretty quiet. It is VERY close to the beach and all the sites have a view of the bay. Very close to Westport and Grayland for exploring. Did I mention Full hookups?! Love it and we will be back.

Awsome place! Lots of area the kids can play in between spots. There is an awesome river trail that is a quick hike. We love it and we will probably come back! No lighr pollution or noise pollution. You can legit hear the toads and birds! Quiet, just what we wanted. They also have cheap firewood bundles (big bunlde)on site that you can pay cash. There are more activities that the host offer we just did not participate on it like a art class and art gallery and they sell local honey. We booked the RV concord site its was an awesome memorial day weekend
