Weekend Trip to Coffee Creek Community & Gardens
I loved the location, it was decently close to the main city but still was extremely tranquil! I’ll definitely be coming back, our host was so sweet and we had a friendly kitty stay with us in the cabin.

We’ve met Seth & Yvonne multiple times for volunteer work on their property, which doubles as a nature reserve. This was our 1st overnight stay at their property, & we ran a LARP (Live Action Role Play) event there. Everything is immaculately whimsical all on its own. Seth & Yvonne have put so much work into their campsite, & it’s perfect for big groups. You seriously can’t run out of space. We had a 12, 10, & 6 person tent, plus 3 single person tents. We never once felt crowded.
Seth & Yvonne were also great hosts! Seth anticipated EXACTLY when we would need more toilet paper & was very accommodating of our needs/requests. We also got to meet Patsy the donkey & Tao the goat. Seth told us what foods are good for them, so with our leftover apples & salad, we got to feed them! They were super cute & very sweet.
Nature wise, grey owl hollow is the perfect blend of natural beauty and campsite needs. Being there really feels like living in a fairytale. Because of the clear cuts of forest nearby in Rochester, they have LOTS of local wildlife that flock to their property. We saw deer & heard many beautiful birds. Needless to say they’ve created a magical habitat for the local forest fauna.
The swings are also really cool! There are at least 7 across the property.
The field is also gorgeous at dark, & we had clear views of the stars every night. Running through the field at 1am for night games was definitely a highlight of our trip.
TL;DR - you should camp at grey owl hollow.

This was our second time staying here and it was just as amazing as the first time! Jenn is the best host and is super responsive to any questions. The property is beautiful, the porta potties are extremely clean, and the only bad thing was having to leave at the end of our stay.

Cool space for the weekend ! Host was cool too. Lake access down the street for small boats. Roosters were a little loud but shoot we have those in Seattle too haha. Good times.

SUPER LARGE campground! There is room for anything! Loved how there was a BBQ and plenty of places to sit under a gazebo. A short walk gets you to the river and at least the end of the July was very calm and shallow which is great for little kids to be able to splash in! There were also slides and swings. Lighting through the trees around the fire pit were an extra pretty touch, and the big open space is great for stargazing! Had a relaxing and wonderful time catching up with friends!

We had an amazing time at Grey Owl Hollow. The campground is cute and whimsical, but also nicely laid out. Our group of almost 20, aged 4 to 70 all enjoyed it immensely. The campground was cool and shaded, had water and a bathroom. There was plenty of room for lots of tents.
The meadow past the pond was great for relaxing in the sun, letting the kids run free, and many games of capture a the flag and laser tag. We didn’t have any issues, but Seth was very responsive and friendly in our interactions and planning.
It was a wonderful place to bring a large family for a group camp with plenty of room to roam and relax. We would definitely come back for another trip.

We can’t say enough good things about this site. We had a large group and the circular setup around the group area was amazing. We had a lot of kids and the property was great for letting them explore. The bathroom, electrical hook ups and water spigot were very convenient. On top of all of that-Seth and Yvonne were so friendly and such great hosts. We are already talking about booking again next year

This is a great private site. You will be woken up by roosters everyday. We brought in our own pop up camper and our friends stayed in the RV on site. The RV is old and run down but does the job. The site was on the canal and was fully fenced. You can walk to the nearby boat launch or paddle board down the canal to the main lake.

We absolutely LOVED our stay! It was perfect for our needs. The property is safely enclosed for kids or pets. Being able to offer the kids the freedom of “fishing” when they wanted right from camp, being able to launch and beach our kayaks and paddle boards and blow up boat without having to transport was amazing. This is a great option for families. The hosts were amazing and felt like family.

My sister and I, along with her three girls, had the best time this weekend and cannot wait to come back. The hosts are super friendly and honestly went above and beyond to make this a great weekend for us. The space is private, spacious and quiet. It’s a perfect spot for a relaxing, even on a rainy Washington weekend like we had. 100% recommend

What a great camping spot! I enjoyed fishing the river and making a fire in the sizable fire ring. The tables and refrigerator were nice camping amenities too
My dog enjoyed playing ball in the large grassy fields.
I didn't have phone service and enjoyed being unplugged, but my friend had one bar.
The market downtown had firewood and groceries in case you forget something.
This site would be especially good for larger groups/family reunions.

Absolutely loved every second of our stay here. Tons of room, tons of shade, electric outlets everywhere, right next to the river, access to grill and fridge/freezer and most importantly PRIVATE! Very well kept and well maintained site. Porta potties were spotless. My family of 7 had more than enough room to space our 3-10 person tents out. Campfire is massive and great gathering place. And the HUGE pavilion had seating, tables and shade for us. Highly recommend staying here. Will definitely stay again in the future! Host is very responsive as well. Our family says thank you!

We had so much fun on this camping trip. We absolutely loved the large covered area to get a break from the sun. There was a fridge, BBQ and propane fitpit available for use which was awesome. There is also the dock on the river right at one of the rv spots where we caught trout. We will definitely be back again.

It was cold and rainy, but my fiance and I really wanted our monthly weekend away from kids and stress...
Normally, we'd just camp in the back of my minivan and cuddle to keep warm, but I found Stephanie's RV on hipcamp, and thought it might be just what we needed. It was perfect. Quiet and beautiful. We spent the night playing board games and, yes, cuddling. Even though her partner wasn't feeling well, they were both so welcoming and helpful. It was still camping in November, but with hot water and a heater, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will probably go back to them for every weekend away this winter. And the site has a fence, so my little dog had so much fun exploring without having to be tethered to me.

Weekend Trip to Coffee Creek Community & Gardens
My fiancé and I had such a peaceful and relaxing weekend here. It was a perfect way to be in nature during the rainy season and escape the city. The wood fire stove made the cabin very cozy and sleeping with the window open to the sound of the rain in the forest was just what we needed. The host was very prompt in answering all our questions during our stay and everything was very clean and easy to find on the property. An added bonus was the cutest little kitty named Carrots who kept us company during our stay. We miss her already and can’t wait to come back!
