Located only a 5 minute drive to Mayfield Lake in Lewis County, our property is a rustic retreat from the hustle and bustle. There are plenty of outdoor exploration opportunities in the area. We have 5 acres with a great camping spot with a fire pit nestled among large evergreen trees. The tress provide shade in the summer months. For bird lovers and botanists, we have left our land native with grass lands among the trees. We have local osprey, eagles, and falcons as well as doves, owls, cickadees, woodpeckers, robins, etc. We also have local deer that travel through the land, and mostly leave us humans alone.

This is a gorgeous park-like RV campground situated between the trees of the arboretum. NO TENTS, please. Also we have NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS. Beautiful view of the mountains and forests here in western Washington. We are close to Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier and several lakes. There are walking trails all around the site. The 12 acre campground is located on a 136 acre property that is an active Christmas tree farm. Trails continue throughout the tree farm. Many trails have a view of the Tilton River, which can be reached via a challenging 3/4 mile trail. Sites are on 12 acres planted with many different species of trees that are about 30 years old. Giant Redwoods, Cedars, and Maples are just a few of the varieties present. Part of the farm is still a working Christmas tree farm. The trails are wide and grassy. The old logging road that we use as a trail to the river has an elevation change of about 500 feet, the trail can be quite challenging. Bear Creek empties into the Tilton river at the end of the trail. There is an ART GALLERY where you can learn to pound flowers, see the host's artwork and get a cup of coffee! This is upstairs through the check-in entry-way. Tilton River Studio Gallery. Three sites have electrical hookups. Every site has a water spigot (use a pressure regulator if you want to hook up). No restrooms or sewer hookups. Garbage disposal site (dumpster) available Memorial Day to Labor Day. We look forward to hosting you!

The campground your dog wishes you had booked. Escape the crowded campgrounds and enjoy five private wooded acres all to yourself. Whether you’re gathering with friends, planning a family campout, or traveling with your pup, this spacious site offers room to spread out, relax, and reconnect with nature. A large grassy clearing sits in the center of the property, surrounded by firs and alders, creating a secluded setting that’s ideal for tents, small campers, group gatherings, and outdoor games. The site comfortably accommodates groups of up to 15 people, with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. A Place Dogs Can Actually Be Dogs If you’ve ever camped at state parks, you know the drill—dogs tied to leashes, with limited room to explore. Here, it’s different. This is a dog-friendly retreat where well-behaved dogs can run, sniff, play, and explore off leash within the private acreage. Many guests tell us their dogs have as much fun here as they do. Bring the ball, the frisbee, or simply let them enjoy the freedom of open space. Nature Right Outside Your Tent Wake up early with a cup of coffee in the covered sitting area and you may spot deer quietly moving through the property along their regular trail. Seasonal wildflowers attract butterflies and pollinators, while fruit trees—including peach, fig, pear, hazelnut, and raspberries, add to the charm of the landscape. A small walking trail winds through the woods, offering a peaceful place to stretch your legs and enjoy the forest. Relax in Comfort Guests have access to: * Outdoor kitchen and gathering space * Covered seating area with a rocking chair * Fire pit * Picnic table and chairs * Porta-potty * 30-amp, 50-amp, and standard 110 power * Well water available for non-potable use Close to the Lake, Far From the Crowds The property is located just minutes from beautiful Mayfield Lake and near Ike Kinswa State Park, making it easy to enjoy swimming, boating, fishing, paddleboarding, and other outdoor adventures before returning to your own private campsite. You’ll occasionally hear neighboring chickens, roosters, or dogs in the distance, a reminder that you’re in the country side. . The neighboring properties are also large acreages, so you’ll still enjoy plenty of privacy and open space.

This campsite is right at the end of the paved county road with only 5 neighbors past it. Any vehicle can access it. There is parking for an RV and 2 vehicles. Located about 10-15 minutes from Mayfield Lake. 20 minutes from Mossyrock. There are several nearby logging roads for exploring. This site is very quiet except for a few cars that drive by each day. There is a picnic table and fire pit with grill (except during burn bans, usually July-September). There is also some firewood available for use. Update: sorry but the fire pit is no longer available due to a guest burning car parts in it. But you are welcome to bring your own. Site has full hookups: 50 amp (240v) electrical service (adapter available to 30 amp, 120v), sewer, and water (not tested for drinking). Please don't unplug the cord in the 20 amp plug. It is for a sewer pump. Thank you.

One thousand feet of creekside camping, featuring an active Bald Eagle nest and optional spa-like amenities, make Kearney Creek Retreat a unique, comfortable, and relaxing getaway for family and friends. Cold plunge in the creek, commune with our bee colony, view the eagle family, and try to find our parrot, Hercules, in the magnificent walnut tree that our great-grandmother planted over 100 years ago. Along the creek, you will find conveniences such as two cooking grills, a fire pit and benches, a sink with a rubble drain, pavers to the creek, and lots of space to set up your lawn games, tent, or RV. Heated outdoor showers, a six-person hot tub, an additional fire pit with seating, a dry sauna, and a well-appointed outhouse dot the camp boundary, ensuring you will enjoy outdoor living while making memories to last a liftime. Midway between Portland and Seattle, Kearney Creek is just 20 minutes off I-5 and 20 minutes from numerous boating, fishing, and swimming opportunities. We are just 90 minutes to Mt St Helen's, Mt Rainier, the Pacific Coast, and the Eastside - make this your base camp and go play! P.S. Your friendly neighbor to the south is my sister Shannon. She works from home so you may see her pass through her backyard from time to time. Please split the yard with her and remain on your side? She'll do the same for you. Rest assured, the hot tub, etc. are exclusively for your use.

Learn more about this land: We are a 501c3 Farm Sanctuary! We care for 30+ farm animals. You can follow us @onalaskafarmsanctuary on Facebook or Instagram. The camping area is nowhere near the animals or the rescue. Sorry! Our 35 acre parcel is "no frills camping" 15 minutes from Interstate 5. We are one hour from Mt Rainer and one hour and fifteen minutes from Mt Saint Helens. The camping area is an old christmas tree farm. We maintain two spots for camping. We have one porta-potty shared between campsites. Each campsite has one picnic table, fire-ring and access to a porta-potty. The area is quiet and secluded. Black-tailed Columbian deer are regular visitors, while the barn owls will serenade you in the evening. You will be able to see ALL the stars!  The road is suitable for small RVs, campervans, truck camping, small school buses, and cars (as long as the cars have some ground clearance). Not suitable for Class A RVs. It is an old logging road made of compacted rock. Cell service is spotty but it does work. Upload/download speeds might be slow.

One minute walk to salmon fishing and river swimming hole and one mile walk to stores in Morton. Laundry and simple indoor shower and toilette. We live in home on property. Please be aware that you can hear the logging trucks on 508 but you will have a visually private space. Also due to change in local ordinance not of our making, there is a 2 week maximum stay. You can let your dog run off leash in the fenced in yard and explore the woods out back although steep.

Pleasant Places campground is clean, quiet, spacious, and private with lots of nooks for R&R, as well as ample space for play and activities. It is an ideal location for large groups and in order to keep the campground as a single site, larger groups are given preference. Centrally located and with 10 acres of field, forest, and farm in a quaint community, there is something of interest for everyone. In camp, you will find a rustic kitchen with a sink, three picnic tables, and a fire pit. Bring water containers for hand and dish washing - a five-gallon jug fits above the sink nicely for ease of use. The resource area for campers is at the second gate. It has an electrical outlet, and it is safe to leave items charging here, as well as a water hose for filling up your containers. Bundled firewood, including kindling, are available for purchase as long as supplies last. Birdsong comes early here, and crickets and frogs light up the evenings. There aren't any city lights, so stargazing is a real delight. We don't have goats anymore, but the chickens and ducks are lovely to watch, so take a moment and say hello to them. We are Michael, Summer, Judy, and Chula, and we are pleased that you are considering a stay with us! If you have any questions or need special accommodations, please reach out, we are happy to help if we can. Happy Camping Friends!
