Forest camping on a huckleberry farm with a salmon stream. 10 acres of permaculture and mycology includes 5 granite fire pits and loop trails with dispersed tent sites. A remote island, naturist beach and kayak at the creek. Parking is limited. Guests love it here: "We stayed two nights at Curley Creek Canyon and loved the experience! Jerrett was a wonderful host and met us upon arrival with great recommendations of places to explore on his beautiful property. The camp sites are clean, private, and have fire pits, and benches provided. We took the roped trail down to the creek (bring gloves its a bit steep) and saw large groups of salmon swim upstream. This time of year is magical with the dropping leafs and lush moss/fungus sightings. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quick getaway from the city to connect to nature. Thanks, Jerrett for the experience and look forward to our next visit!"

Welcome to The Landing at Index - located on the South Fork Skykomish River, in the western foothills of the Cascade Mountains, off of Highway 2. With 16 acres of beautiful, private woods and breathtaking views of Mt. Index, this is a wonderful getaway to kick back and relax after your day of adventures, or just to escape the city rush. This is a gated property, protected with a code, which you will be sent 24 hours before your arrival. The campsites are at the bottom of a long logging road so an SUV or AWD vehicle are preferable , especially during the wetter seasons. When the property was logged approximately 100 years ago they scooped out gravel from the river to make their roads in the area thus creating the back eddy pool along the beach. A rather peaceful setting, including the rushing sound of the river and the occasional whistle of a train. You will feel refreshed and rejuvenated after you stay at The Landing. Pets are welcome, there are private outhouses at each campsite. These outhouses are protected with a code, which is sent to you 24 hours before your arrival. Campfires are allowed (when burn bans are not in place).

Located on Yew Street, Port Ludlow, Washington nestled in the "quiet" Paradise Bay community. Due to narrow entry off Paradise Bay Road, the maximum recommended length is 35’ for Motorhomes and 30’ for Travel Trailers. Nice views of Puget Sound/Hood Canal where cruise ships, cargo ships, and naval vessels often pass. On a clear day, you will see Mount Baker. Inquiries: message me via HipCamp App or Contact Host at bottom of page. Enjoy the private community beach, picnic area and boat ramp (for smaller vessels), just a 4-minute walk from campsite. Look for sea lions, seals and Orcas (sometimes). Power (30A/20A), water hookup, comfy campsite chairs, picnic table and fire-ring/cooking grate (check for Jefferson County burn-ban). No wi-fi, but cell phone reception is typically very good. Eastern part of Olympic Peninsula has many great trails in the Olympic National Park (35 minutes away). Also, local trails in Port Ludlow less than 10 minutes away. Easy access to Sequim, John Wayne Marina (with large boat launch), Port Angeles and Port Townsend as well as the Olympic Discovery Trail for a great bike riding adventure IMPORTANT NOTES: • For your safety, Hipcamp requires background checks for all Hosts. • For our safety, Hipcamp requires Hipcamper profiles include renter’s real full name. We reserve the right to cancel reservations that do not provide a real full name. • Firewood may be purchased anytime via the App, however we recommend you wait until arrival and check for “no” Jefferson County “Burn-Ban”. • We have neighbors nearby, but privacy is maintained. • Main access (Paradise Bay Rd) is 75 feet away from campsite and can be busy with traffic. Nature, lake views, a private beach and dock. 30 amp power to the RV site will be installed and ready to use no later than April 15th. An excellent location between Seattle and Tacoma, with access to freeways, restaurants, shopping, entertainment, the transit center and Puget Sound waterfront parks and trails—all within a nearby two miles. Enjoy panoramic, serene lake views from the back of the house. Feel free to relax or enjoy a meal at one of the bistro tables on the big patio. Follow the path that’s embraced by flowering gardens & trees, next to a rock wall that winds gently down the hill. Go pass two fire pits with seating areas, to an archway made of sticks that opens to the expansive open space & lawn. On the left the woods of the vacant lot next door. You’re invited to play fetch with your well behaved dog, or throw a frisbee on the huge grass lawn that sometimes is temporarily flooded during the wet seasons. To get to the lake shore, keep left, next to the woods, which is my 1/3 portion of the huge open space. Go straight ahead to find my hidden private dock and secluded beach, at the end of a short waterfront trail. During the warmer months, the rowboat, tandem kayak, & 2 paddle boards are kept here, ready to take out fishing or for a tour around the peaceful lake. Many water birds and other birds call this home. You may spot a great blue heron or crane as they stretch their wings for several minutes soaking up the sun. Or you may see, osprey and bald eagles soaring overhead before they dive into the lake to swoop up a fish for their next meal. Spend the day relaxing at the beach with a good book, soaking up the sun, or enjoying a picnic at the picnic table. As the day winds down, gather around fire pit at the beach or one of the fire pits with seating next to the garden path. Or have a camp fire at your site. Swimming is part of the fun staying here. . Life jackets are available to use in many sizes. We are installing a slide into the water off the dock this summer! Motorboats aren’t permitted on this lake, so it’s always serene and peaceful. The park like setting without the crowds & having nearby amenities make a stay here a terrific getaway.

Rules: 1. Hipcampers profile must include real full name. 2. Maximum 6 guests per site. No tent camping. 3. Campers must bring their own camp toilet. 4. No on-site dumping of wastewater (black or grey). 5. No dumpster, please take trash with you when you leave. 6. Pets must be leashed when outside. Please clean up after pet. 7.
