Grit & Grace is a 2 acre property with a manufactured home and shop on site. It is very peaceful and quiet! Forested areas surround the property and you may often spot a deer roaming the property. It is a perfect spot to park your RV for a night or two.
Mt. Rainier and Crystal Mountain Ski Resort are close by. The White River Amphitheater is a great concert venue and is a 7 minute drive! We have an acre of land with an orchard, grapes, blueberries, raspberries, tons of flowers and peace and quiet except for some traffic on Veazie Cumberland Rd. There is a tree farm across the street from the campsite and a blueberry farm across Veazie. Picking time for blueberries is end of July into August. Deep lake is four miles from our house as well as Kanaskit State Park with a river. Mt Rainier is about 45 minutes away. Mt Peak, 1000 ft hike, is 4 miles toward Enumclaw from us.

Manchester State Park features a beach, sand dunes, and flat grasslands, with nearly 18,000 feet of ocean frontage. The beach line curves gently to form a "catch basin" for sea debris, which accounts for the volume of driftwood found here. Five miles of gentle, sandy beach stretches southward towards the Point Arena Lighthouse.
One of the main attractions is the excellent steelhead fishing in the park’s two streams, Brush Creek and Alder Creek. The park features a variety of coastal wildflowers, including sea pinks, poppies, lupines, baby blue eyes and blue irises. The park provides habitat for tundra swans. The San Andreas Fault runs into the sea at the park.
The park takes its name from the village of Manchester, which is located in Mendocino County on Coast Highway 1 about seven miles north of Point Arena.
This is an area of rich grazing lands, flocks of sheep and herds of cattle which add a pastoral note to some of the most spectacular coastal scenery in the world.

Nestled at the foothills of Mount Rainier, we are a serene farm 45 miles away from Seattle, 36 min drive away from the Mt Rainier Carbon River entrance, 1 hour from the Crystal Mountain Resort, and 1 hour 30 minutes from the Sunrise Visitor Center.
I live here with my partner Khohay who now takes care of his family farm which used to be his late aunts Soma Institute of Structural Integration school (now ran by his brother on Whidbey Island).
We are constantly doing projects around the property to restore, improve and preserve the beauty that it has to offer and would love to share it with other people as we go!
AMENITIES/THINGS TO DO:
-There is a communal bunkhouse on property available to guests with a flushable toilet and a hot water shower. It also includes a kitchenette and we welcome you to use any of the kitchen/cookware and appliances. Our 2 French Bulldogs also stay in this building but they love humans and all the attention you can give them!
-We have a wellness yurt with well equipped gym that is available to use as an add-on.
-There is an infrared sauna that can sit up to 3 people located next to the yurt accompanied by a cold plunge as an add-on.
-You are welcome to wander around the entire property and grab fruit daily from the trees when in season or have us get you farm fresh eggs from the coop to eat for breakfast.
-Say hello to the animals (sheep, goats, chickens, piggy, cats and dogs) or go for a walk/run around the countryside roads with walking/running/biking adventures available to you along the beautiful and paved Foothills Trail extending 21 miles from Buckley to Puyallup.
-Communal fire pit areas with picnic table and chairs available when fire ban is not in effect. There is one close to the communal kitchen area, one closer to the field by the barn, and we have a moveable metal one which we can transport to your camp spot if preferred. We sell a milkcrate full of wood for $10 if needed.
-WIFI is available closer to the communal area.

2 miles from downtown Buckley with Blue Max Meats and the Rainier Fresh Country Store for a quick trip down the road for groceries and less than 15 minute drive to Enumclaw with more restaurant options available and Bonney Lake also 15 minutes away with Costco, Fred Meyers etc.

10 acre homestead on the outskirts of downtown North Bend at the base of Mt. Si. Breathtaking view of the mountain, peaceful pastures, amazing wildlife. Walk or ride to all the charm of Downtown North Bend (0.7 miles), The Snoqualmie River (0.5 miles) or The Snoqualmie Trail (0.5 miles). Close to Rattlesnake Lake (6.5 miles) and a huge variety of hiking trails. The farm is regularly visited by elk. During the spring and summer there are (sometimes) cows, (always) cats, chickens, ducks, and three working dogs on the property. Hollow Tree Campsite is private, located on the far side of the pasture, next to a seasonal creek (dry in the summer). Jake's Corner is more open and located on the westside of the pasture. For those wanting hookups to a water hose or electricty, Barn Camp is an excellent option. Steve’s location is perfect! The neighborhood was easy to get to and very quiet with stunning gardens everywhere. We had full hookups. Steve is very friendly we had fun conversations. He was really helpful with the information about the area. The area has a train stop near by. The little rail took us to Seattle and back easy and very reasonable . We spent 4 lovely nights. We would love to return someday! The train ride was 50 minutes to Seattle. Very comfortable.

This was my second trip to the farm and while I was just there for a short one night stint, it was exactly what I needed! The property is so peaceful and easy to find a corner to tuck away into if that’s what you’re looking for or you can be in the common area if you want more activity. I enjoyed just kicking back and watching the sheep and goats meander around the property for the evening. The next morning I got an early start and hit up Anchorhouse coffee on my way out of town, highly recommend! I will keep coming here as long as Jenel & Khohay are welcoming visitors to their wonderful property.

Wow! This property is absolutely fantastic! If you are looking for an unforgettable view, huge private area, beach access and peace and quiet this is your dream come true. I think the only thing we heard was planes arriving/departing from the airport, certainly not enough of an issue to affect our stay.
One night is not enough to fully appreciate this site. The host, Lisa, was very kind when we interacted. The one thing we didn’t get to experience is a campfire, on the land or the beach, so we can’t speak to that, but I don’t think it affected the stay in any way. Incredible place. We would love to stay again if we are ever in the area. Enjoy!
