Manchester State Park features a beach, sand dunes, and flat grasslands, with nearly 18,000 feet of ocean frontage. The beach line curves gently to form a "catch basin" for sea debris, which accounts for the volume of driftwood found here. Five miles of gentle, sandy beach stretches southward towards the Point Arena Lighthouse.
One of the main attractions is the excellent steelhead fishing in the park’s two streams, Brush Creek and Alder Creek. The park features a variety of coastal wildflowers, including sea pinks, poppies, lupines, baby blue eyes and blue irises. The park provides habitat for tundra swans. The San Andreas Fault runs into the sea at the park.
The park takes its name from the village of Manchester, which is located in Mendocino County on Coast Highway 1 about seven miles north of Point Arena.
This is an area of rich grazing lands, flocks of sheep and herds of cattle which add a pastoral note to some of the most spectacular coastal scenery in the world.

We have an acre of land with an orchard, grapes, blueberries, raspberries, tons of flowers and peace and quiet except for some traffic on Veazie Cumberland Rd. There is a tree farm across the street from the campsite and a blueberry farm across Veazie. Picking time for blueberries is end of July into August. Deep lake is four miles from our house as well as Kanaskit State Park with a river. Mt Rainier is about 45 minutes away. Mt Peak, 1000 ft hike, is 4 miles toward Enumclaw from us.

Many water birds and other birds call this home. You may spot a great blue heron or crane as they stretch their wings for several minutes soaking up the sun. Keep an eye open for the bald eagles that have a nest in a tree at the shore.
Osprey and Bald Eagles are often seen soaring above, before diving into the lake to catch a fish.
The lake is stocked every May. The fishing is good here and the lake has a reputation for being especially great for Large Mouth Bass fishing. If you love to fish, then bring your fishing gear and pole.

Motorboats aren’t permitted on this lake, so it’s always serene and peaceful.

PET OWNERS PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: Please declare any pets on the “Who’s Coming” page. We have noticed an influx of owners that do not let us know and show up with dogs as we need to go over additional information. There is no additional fee but since we have livestock roaming freely around the property, to ensure their safety, long leads are highly encouraged especially if dogs do not have exceptional training and recall. Thank you!
AMENITIES/THINGS TO DO:
-There is a communal bunkhouse on property available to guests with a flushable toilet and a hot water shower. It also includes a kitchenette and we welcome you to use any of the kitchen/cookware and appliances. Our 2 Frenchies also stay in this building but they love humans and all the attention you can give them!
-There is an infrared sauna that can sit up to 3 people located next to the yurt accompanied by a cold plunge as an add-on.
-You are welcome to wander around the entire property and grab fruit daily from the trees when in season or have us get you farm fresh eggs from the coop to eat for breakfast.
-Say hello to the animals (sheep, goats, chickens, cats and dogs) or go for a walk/run around the countryside roads with walking/running/biking adventures available to you along the beautiful and paved Foothills Trail extending from Enumclaw to Puyallup.
-Communal fire pit areas with picnic table and chairs available when fire ban is not in effect. We have a moveable metal one which we can transport to your camp spot if preferred. We sell a large milkcrate full of wood for $10 if needed.

Very good signage. Was easy to find thanks to Hipcamp signs. Very quiet night. The sites are way smaller than they look in pics and both sites are close together . Our dogs had grass to lay on. Beautiful landscaping and wooden bench in site. Beautiful huskies in fenced yard next door will be interactive when they see you .

We had a wonderful time camping at the farm. Jenel and Khohay were super welcoming and we had some great conversations with them, as well as with Andrew and a fellow camper. The campsite felt super private and we loved spending time with the farm animals, along with their sweet dogs. The shared kitchen & bathroom had everything you could need and more (coffee, cappuccino mix, matcha, tea, spices, etc.) and the fresh eggs and plums were an added bonus.

Spent a week with a friend at this wonderful alpaca farm with water and electrical hookups. All the the farm animals were an absolute joy to watch, not to mention a friendly family cat who visited from time to time. And the flower garden was in full bloom with sunflowers the size of flying saucers. The owners were very friendly and helpful. While at the farm we were able to take a day trip to Mount Rainier, as well as enjoy many hiking and biking trails in the area. This was a really nice find!

We had a great 3 night stay on Steve’s Marineview spot. The walk to the waterfront was a perfect 15 minute/160 steps and when timed at low tide had a nice beach for walking and shelling on. A quiet, private parking spot, in a beautiful neighborhood!
We caught the public transit into downtown Seattle which was very fun. (30 min. by bus, 60 min by train.) Thanks Steve!

This site was absolutely perfect ! The back in site was level and you could back right to the gazebo where water and power were located . Nice concrete pad with party lights. Had a nice patio table set . Super nice fire pit but we did not use it . It came stocked with fire wood . There is a Treager but she is a slow one so we gave up on that as we had our own grill . The folks on the property were so kind . If you’re looking for a top notch out of the hustle and bustle site this is your stop !

Cedar River Cabin was just what we needed to ring in the last weekend of summer! The hosts are amazing and were very patient with my pregnancy brain messing up the code to get into the cabin 😂. The land is beautiful and they have everything you could need! I packed way too much! Brittany really takes care of her guests. My dogs loved the property too! There was no shortage of sniffing for them! We can’t wait to come back as a family of 4!
