A 1 acre scenic property, embraced by nature, campers have access to 55 feet of serene lake shoreline, a private secluded beach and Dock. The campsites are conveniently located near the front of my property for quick access coming and going. Fish and swim from the dock, or use the rowboat to fish anywhere else on this peaceful lake. No motorboats are allowed. Give the paddle boards a try if you’re looking to try something new. Glide over the lake with ease, in the single or tandem kayak. Registered Hipcampers and their guests pay NO RENTAL FEES for using the watercraft’s. Conveniently located between Seattle and Tacoma, with Freeway Access, Restaurants, Shopping Malls, Movie Theaters, Puget Sound Waterfront Parks and Hiking Trails, All with in a Couple of miles. A path embraced by a rock wall and flowering gardens leads to an archway made of sticks that opens to the expansive open space of the back yard, Keep to the left side of the huge lawn until you see the opening to a short trail marked with a green light post. Follow the short trail to my private dock and secluded beach. Many water birds and other birds call this home. You may spot a great blue heron or crane as they stretch their wings for several minutes soaking up the sun. Keep an eye open for the bald eagles that have a nest in a tree at the shore. Osprey and Bald Eagles are often seen soaring above, before diving into the lake to catch a fish. The lake is stocked every May. The fishing is good here and the lake has a reputation for being especially great for Large Mouth Bass fishing. If you love to fish, then bring your fishing gear and pole. End your fun day with a relaxing bon fire on the beach or at your campsite Motorboats aren’t permitted on this lake, so it’s always serene and peaceful. No lifeguards on duty here. Swim at your own risk. Guests must abide by the lake safety rules. Enjoy a park like setting being surrounded by nature with the convenience of many nearby amenities. Spectacular sunsets, and no crowds. A nice getaway.

Campsite 1 is the “Semi private campsite.” This campsite is mostly level and is ideal for tents and car camping. There is parking for one car at the campsite. Any additional cars will need to utilize the free street parking on the wide shoulders on both sides of the street in front of my property. Each campsite has its own private outhouse room with a portable toilet, and a hook to hang a portable hot shower, if you rent one for $10. Each campsite also has a firepit, bistro table for eating meals, camping table for setting your gear and equipment on, clothes line for drying swimsuits and towels, a string of lights that provides soft lighting at night, an outlet to charge your cell phone, a hose for water, trash can, and access to the lake via trails and a path that begins on the left side of my house. The campsites are located on the front side of my property, where the driveway comes in from the street to my house. I reside in the house with a gentleman housemate and my friendly dog Ranger. Take a little hike to the lake shore where you can fish and swim from my private dock and secluded beach. Relax and enjoy the serene and beautiful lake where no motor boats are allowed. The lake is stocked with 6-8 varieties of fish every spring. The fishing and swimming is good here and the lake has a reputation for being good for fishing, especially for Trout and Large Mouth Bass. Crappie, Yellow Perch, and Blue Gill are some of the other fish, often caught here. To get to the lake; Follow the path to the bottom of a small hill. Cross the grass and keep to the left side of the huge lawn where you will see an owl statue sitting at the base of small green light post marking the entrance to a short trail that leads to my dock and secluded beach. My housemate and I try to stay out of our guest campers way. It is important to us that campers enjoy their stay, as much as we enjoy living here. You may pass by us as we work on one of the outdoor projects we currently have going on. Please excuse our presence and any temporary construction messes you see. Guests have especially appreciated this convenient location midway between Seattle and Tacoma, because of the wide variety of abundant activities available for interested campers. The transit station, freeway access, shopping malls, movie theaters, restaurants, Puget Sound waterfront parks and trails are all within a couple of miles. SeaTac airport is less than a half hour drive with the flight path to Seatac airport a couple miles away, above the Puget Sound shoreline. There is some distant noise from the freeway and the planes headed to the airport. Most people don’t seem to notice the noise. They tell me it’s a “white noise” in the back ground and they say it doesn’t bother them. They still find camping here is peaceful and enjoyable. There are 3 houses that share the huge lawn in the back. I reside in the house on the far left, (when facing the lake.) My two immediate neighbors and I share the huge lawn to play outdoor games, with family, friends, and our dogs. However we do not trespass on each others docks. Please use my private dock as much as you like. Please do not enter onto my neighbors privately owned docks. Well trained dogs can be off leash during play time when they are supervised by their owner. Plesse keep your dog on leash the rest of the time. Promptly pick up after your dog and keep your dog out of my neighbor’s yards. Please do not use the lawn area next to my driveway as a bathroom for your dog. That front lawn doesn’t belong to me, it belongs to my neighbor. Instead walk your dog down to the end of the driveway and then up the street. Pack your trash out from the beach and dock to the trash can at your campsite. I appreciate the campers who respect my property, the lake, and our Mother Earth by leaving no trace. Smoking is allowed outdoors, away from doors, windows and other guests. Cigarette butts go in the trash, never on the ground! Firewood is $10 a bundle, or gather your own for free, in the woods next to the campsite. The Forest Service advises campers not bring firewood from outside the immediate area, to help protection trees from foreign diseases. Have a terrific stay!

Campsite 2 is located on my shy acre, lake front property where I live in my house with a gentleman housemate, and my friendly dog Ranger. My housemate and I, respect our guest campers and it’s important to us that our guests enjoy their visit here. We try our best to stay out of your way but you may see us outside working on a project. Please excuse our presence and any temporary construction messes you might see. Campers can take a little hike to the lake and fish, swim or sit and relax on my private dock and secluded beach. Nearby freeway access makes this location convenient for travelers who need a place to stay. Come as late as you want, the campsite is always ready even if I’m not available to greet you when you arrive. There are restaurants, shopping malls, grocery stores, movie theaters, a transit center, and Puget Sound waterfront parks and trails all within a couple of miles. SeaTac airport is less than a 30 min drive and the flight path to the airport is also a couple of miles away. There is some distant noise from the freeway and the planes headed to the airport but the majority of campers tell me the distant noise is a white noise in the background and they don’t really notice it. To get to the lake from this campsite, take the trail past the outhouse room, go down the wood steps, which meets the path. Go left to keep following the path. Take the 6 steps down to a large patio and take an immediate left to continue down the path. The path gently winds down a small hill embraced by a rock wall and flower gardens. Go past two fire pit sitting areas, and when you reach the bottom of the hill, go through a rustic archway made of sticks that opens to a huge lawn. Keep to the left side of the huge lawn and Look for a green light post with an owl statue, at the entrance to a short trail. Follow the trail to the beach and dock. This campsite is mostly level, with a fire pit, bistro table & chairs , a camping table for placing food and equipment on, and a private outhouse room that has a portable toilet and a hook for hanging a portable shower if you rent a hot shower for $10. Dry your swim suits and towels on a clothes line at the campsite. Water for this campsite is available from the hose near the outhouse room for this campsite. A string of lights provides soft lighting at night and an outlet for charging your cell phone. Park your car off the street, at the trail head for this campsite, which is just past the mailboxes on the street in-front of my property. The trail to the campsite is short, and a little steep, as it climbs a small hill to the campsite at the top. There are 3 houses that share the huge lawn in the back. My two immediate neighbors and I share the huge lawn to play games with family, friends, and our dogs. Well trained dogs can be off leash during play time when they are closely supervised by their owner, making sure their dog doesn’t venture into my neighbor’s fenced backyard areas. Dogs must be on a leash when they are anywhere else. Please promptly pick up after your dog. And please know the grass lawn next to the driveway I share with my neighbor, IS NOT a perfect potty spot. That grass does not belong to me, it is my neighbor’s lawn. Please leash your dog and walk to the end of my shared driveway, and walk your dog next to the street. You’re welcome to use my private beach and dock anytime, but Please do not enter on to my two neighbors privately owned docks. No life guard on duty. Swim at your own risk. . See the lake safety rules that all campers must follow when camping here. Anything you bring to anywhere on this one acre property must be packed back to the trash can at your campsite Leave no trace, including in the lake! Smoking is allowed outdoors, away from any exterior doors to my house, and away from other campers. . Thank you for not dropping your butts on the ground! Campsite 3 is located on the grass, next to a vacant wooded lot and just steps away from the entrance to the shoreline trail that leads to a private dock and secluded beach. There is no nearby access for a car to park at this campsite. Campers will have to park for free on the wide shoulders of the street in front of this property Campers at this site enjoy serene lake views from the campsite and use the fire-pit on the beach for their evening campfires. If you plan to do a lot of fishing or swimming, during your stay, then this campsite is for you. By being so close to the lakeshore you can be swimming and fishing within a couple of minutes any time day or night. The dock and beach are also available for other campers who might be camping at site 1 & 2to use anytime. who might be camping at one of the other two campsites here. so most, if not all the t You can choose to fish from the dock where Anglers usually have good success with fishing, or take the row boat out to find your perfect fishing spot somewhere else on this beautiful lake, where no motor boats are allowed. Park your car on the wide shoulders of the street infront of my property. Then pack up your camping and fishing gear to take a little hike to the other end of my one acre property, where the campsite is located close to the lakeshore. The little hike is worth the walk for those campers who want to have their tent set up on the soft grass next to the woods with views of the lake. A hose provides water and an extension cord with an outlet provides power to charge your cellphone.

Kind and attentive host who makes great effort to accommodate. Fishing and water crafts on the lake were the highlights for my children. They also liked Ranger, the resident dog.

Host very kind and helpful however the site was directly under the flight path for SeaTac airport and close enough to the freeway that you could hear traffic. Too noisy for a camping experience for me. Also many stairs to navigate down to the lake as well as bathroom situation was essentially a bucket behind a couple of solar panels used as a Privacy block.

Elizabeth was very nice and showed me around the property. she mentioned that she has some projects that they're working on like redoing the back patio, a new fire pit, and an outside shower and an enclosed private porta toilet. I think it'll be extra nice after those but this was fine for my needs and very peaceful. the area I set up my tent was by the house and she had a very cute fire pit with firewood available for purchase, a hose hookup and a porta toilet that's available to use if you're comfortable doing that technically within sight of the main house. I didn't care, other people might not care, but I figured I'd mention it. I slept like a baby and it was close enough to town but you can walk down the stairs to the lake for more of a peaceful lake experience but that's separate from where you're camping but close. she also has a kayak/paddleboard available to rent as well.

We enjoyed this suburban oasis by the lake! Mine and my two dogs’ favorite part was taking an evening walk through the owner’s beautiful garden to, so that the dogs could play on the very large lawn. The owner’s dog, Ranger, was very sweet and the dogs all had a blast running around together. I would not recommend this property if you want to be alone in a remote area. That’s not this property. If you would not mind interacting with the residents and being very close to their home, then this is a great spot.

Friendly host, she had a small fire started for us when we arrived. As she calls out it is a tight turn around to get parked, so anything bigger than 20 feet would not fit. It does have hwy noise and Sea-Tac airplane noise if you are sensitive to noise- might be best to bring ear plugs. Otherwise it was right off the hwy so made for a quick overnight to break up our long drive.

Really nice little little spot! Close to the city but far enough away to avoid the noise. Elizabeth is a fantastic host! Friendly and hospitable. Stayed two nights while I was in town for a gem show, great place for any traveler looking for a safe and comfortable stay.

I had a wonderful stay. The property is peaceful, with a beautiful pond that made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Beth was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and she went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests and takes pride in creating a great experience. Also her dog Ranger is super charming and friendly.

Elizabeth was an incredible hostess- very warm/friendly, down to earth and eager to make sure I was comfortable. The lake was a perfect, refreshing dip in the midst of a busy and sweltering weekend. They are working on the space, continuing to make improvements & she was quick to do everything she could to accommodate me. Thank you so much Elizabeth - you made this feel like connection with a community member, rather than just an impersonal hotel or air bnb stay, which was a pleasant experience for me. Highly recommend!!

We did a one night car camping at Beth’s place and had a great time! The weather was kind of on and off, and she was there to help provide anything we needed - dry chair cushions, dry firewood, etc. The porta-potty was all clean and easy for me to dispose of when we packed up to leave. It’s a little ways down from the parking spot in front of her driveway down to her private dock, but once you get down there it’s gorgeous! We fished off the dock with some worms and use a lure or two, we caught mostly bluegills but one trout did make an appearance right before we packed up for the day. Beth was so accommodating and checked in with us often to make sure we were settled, I appreciated that so much especially with the weather. Her dog Ranger is also a sweetheart, thanks for the stay!
