The nearly level trail meanders through the valley, rewarding visitors with picturesque, landscape views of forests, farmland, streams and rivers, and mountain vistas. Sites have a generous fire pit and access to a Porta-Potty. For bathing I recommend cool dip in the Stillaguamish River. In season there is also fishing, snowshoeing, concerts at the blue grass festival grounds, a rodeo, and so much more.

You will need boots just below the knee, or hiking shoes that will get wet. The Creek crossing is a little deeper this year. You will also be crossing a muddy area for about 20 yards, you will sink about 3 inches into the mud. The hike into the campsite takes 12 minutes. You need to contact me to check the tides, as to be able to get to the campsite. We need to hike in below a 5 foot tide. Starting October, the campsite closes for winter. Stay at Kodama Farm right next to a few of our Nigerian Dwarf goats! Explore our little regenerative farm and flower gardens, walk through our tropical geodesic dome greenhouse, and enjoy the gorgeous valley views. We are located 6 miles south of "downtown" Chimacum which is the home to the Chimacum Corner Farmstand (the best natural foods/organic grocery store in the world), and Finnriver Farm and Cidery (a lovely family-friendly place!). Our farm is a convenient spot to launch off of for your Olympic National Park adventure! There are some insanely beautiful hikes nearby and we are about 2 1/2 hours away from the coast. We are right off the main highway which means you will unfortunately hear some car noise mixed in with the birds and goats, but bring some musical instruments and you won't notice a thing! Our campsite is a grassy patch down in the valley nestled under a large spruce tree next to a goat pasture. If our male goat is in that pasture, you may get occasional goaty smells, but that is just part of the farm life :) We have a picnic table, chairs, fire pit, electrical outlets, and a porta-potty available a short walk away for campers to use. Your campsite is the only one on the property. You may see us farmers going about our daily tasks, but we will make sure you have your privacy.

Weekend Trip to Camp Keyser Forest Camp

Second time staying here, and it’s one of my favorite local get aways. You feel so secluded, but it’s only 90ish minutes from Seattle. Bed is ridiculously comfy, and it’s a great way to reset off grid. Lots of great hikes nearby, too. It’s definitely cosy, so recommend preparing food in advance so you can easily cook without tripping over each other. You’re close to a highway so you’ll hear car noise, but it doesn’t bother us at all. The lane is quiet and a great walk with the dog in the am to see the cows

Reg's land and cabin are lovely. He's a sweet and accommodating host :) The property feels a little magical with a walk along the river and a big beautiful tree to greet you. The record collection is fun to dig through - some real gems in there.

Reg’s hundred acre wood is a charming mix of huts and outbuildings new and old. The vegetation overgrowth and misty air conceal various construction materials and antiques around the property. Dishes and coffee are available, and the BBQ worked as long as you can squeeze into the narrow place where it’s situated. The washroom is cute, the kitchen is slated for demolition, and the cabin we stayed in was warm. Reg was enthusiastic about showing us around the property, and introducing us to the sheep.

The cabin at Valhalla once again proved to be a wonderful autumn destination to relax amongst the trees, listen to the babbling stream, soak in the sun atop Look Out Rock and cook up some good food around the campfire. I can't say enough good things about this place, it is really an oasis of calm.

Valhalla tree farm is beautiful and so serene. The different birds calling and talking through the sounds of trees moving in high winds, so good! The pup and I went exploring through the property and trails feeling like we were fully in Ferngully. Our shelter camp site on Huckleberry Hill was perfect. Dave clearly puts a lot of thought and care into providing the best experience. Not only was he communicative and responsive, but he was also accommodating. Thanks to the shelter at our site, we didn’t drown in the torrential downpour! This property is highly rated, the pup and I agree 💯

Valhalla is everything you want in a campsight and more. The land is beautiful and so peaceful. The sites are spread out for privacy and there's a few different types, including cabins so you're sure to find something that you'll like . The roads are well maintained. There's drinkable spring water from a faucet at every site. Trails all throughout the property to explore and a creek to play in. It's a paradise and the host, Dave is a great guy. Friendly, helpful and very responsive. It's obvious he's put a lot of work and love into the property. Can't wait to go back!

Reg has created a very cool space on his property. We loved staying in the analogue room, it felt very private and the bed was really comfortable! There’s a cozy washroom with a clawfoot tub and hot water and a kitchen both only a few steps away. The property itself is stunning! Lots of hiking to explore and a volcanic grotto that had some of the most incredible rocks I’ve seen. This place is magic!

Weekend Trip to Camp Keyser Forest Camp

This cabin was amazing to stay in! Me and my fiance had a great try getting cozy by the fire and watching the mountain at sunrise. This was one of our favorite glamping adventures by far. There are some beautiful hikes near by and the Cabin was perfect and cozy in the cold evening. I recommend this cabin sight to anyone who is looking to reconnect with nature and there special someone. Thank you for everything!

I spent six days on the farm in late September, and it was excellent. Such a beautiful, special place. I loved being neighbor to the goat men, and having my morning coffee in their company. I highly recommend the farm tour; it was awesome to have Grace show me around and tell me the farm’s stories. So good!! Also the soap. I really really loved the goat soap. :)

This is what you want when you are searching hipcamp! Site was clean, peaceful and lovely. There's water, an outhouse, a shelter, a picnic table and the most perfect place to hang a hammock. I hiked all the trails and explored all the other sites and I would stay at all of them! If you are into bird watching, bring your binoculars, the mountain is host to a ton of raptors, owls, a Kingfisher and tons of little birds too.

Nice little spot at site 2. Sites 1 and 2 are right on top of each other so those are great if you have a group but not so much with neighbors you don’t know if you want privacy. Sites 1 and 2 are the closest to the quiet little roads there so if you want to feel more in the woods I’d recommend sites 4-7. I had a great time though! Portapotty is clean and close to all sites. Nice fire pit and level ground for my tent. A wee bit of road noise from the main road but nothing loud. Also plenty of birds and frogs to serenade you into the evening. Thanks for the nice stay!

We were lucky to get the place all to ourselves, beautiful area within driving distance of hiking/view of the river. Highly recommend for a chill weekend close to town
