Almost 20 years ago, Shelley and Casey moved back to the beautiful Skagit Valley farm Shelley grew up on. Her family has farmed in the valley for five generations. Tent Site: Pitch your tent in a private corner of our little organic farm in the beautiful Skagit Valley. You will be surrounded by gorgeous edible landscaping and a stunning view of Mount Baker. Take a stroll through our gardens, graze on some fruit in season. A 10 minute walk or quick bike ride to the Skagit River offering great swimming in the warmer months.

Bayview Alpacas is located on 10 privately-gated acres across the street from Padilla Bay, a National Estuarine Research Reserve. The Reserve protects one of the largest beds of eelgrass in the contiguous United States - nearly 8,000 acres.
Habitats found here support herring, smelt, salmon, flatfish, Dungeness crab, ducks, eagles, shorebirds, and peregrine falcons. Mammals found in Padilla bay include harbor seals and river otters. Located in the northern reaches of greater Puget Sound, at the saltwater edge of the large delta of the Skagit River in the Salish Sea, the reserve is eight miles long and three miles across.
The Padilla Bay Reserve is one of 29 areas in the National Estuarine Research Reserve System. The 11,966 acres-site is protected for long-term research, water quality monitoring, education, and coastal stewardship.

18 acres of the property is agricultural land that is open space. The owners have a small garden and some fruit trees that are for owner's use only, but you are happy to walk around and tour the garden. Approximately 5 acres of the property is mowed for recreational use.
There is a dock for fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking or boating. The lake is open to boats, but no jet skis are allowed. You can bring your own water toys and play on the lake all day. There is open space for camping but no running water. The property has a firepit and porta potty for campers use.
You will likely see wildlife like eagles (nest nearby), deer, geese, ducks, birds and of course clear, starry night, skies.
*This is a working farm so while often you will have the property to yourself and other campers the owners may be present, occasionally, to work on farm projects and property maintenance in the periphery. We will always be respectful or your space and keep our projects to reasonable hours.
There is a gas station, coffee shop, public beach, over 21 restaurant/bar and small store within walking distance from the property too.

In downtown Mount Vernon you can walk the outdoor promenade along the Skagit River, get takeout from local restaurants and coffee shops, or visit unique downtown shops.

Maximum 13 night stay, NO long term rental space available. Dogs welcome on leash or fenced at all times. Includes use of communal area to cook, outdoor washup sink, and access to fire pit with wood and fire starters available. We are a strictly non smoking site, except inside your rig.
Glamping tent in the forest is 16 x 24 ft, with pillow top queen bed, kitchenette with refrigerator/microwave/drinking water/dishes, comfy seating and 8 foot covered deck. Access to full bathroom, cooking facility, communal fire pit, BBQ, Wi-Fi available, full electrical power in tent, woodstove in tent with wood provided. Not suitable for small children, and no pets allowed in tent.
Walk in Campsites - choose your own place to spend the night on the open pasture or in our forest. 1 tent per reservation. In forest tent site is small, single tent for no more than 2 people recommended. Includes use of communal area to cook, use of picnic tables, Full bathroom and access to fire pit with free wood and firestarters. We do not allow in-car camping without tent topper.

This is a 10 acre property on Guemes Island ( 5 minute ferry ride across the channel from downtown Anacortes), which is open pasture farm land and partly forested. Camping is available in the open horse pasture in direct sun or down in a natural occurring ancient gravel pit surrounded by trees. All the natural wonder that is Guemes Island is easily accessible from the property. Bike, hike, boat, paddle, fish, crab and have a great time!

Camp in a private grove of trees overlooking acres of pastures with grazing sheep, miniature cattle, ponies, and horses. Depending upon the time of year, there may be lambs, newborn calves or puppies. From December to June a creek burbles by.
The campsite has a gazebo with furniture and fire table. There is also a fire ring, but burn bans sometimes begin as early as the middle of June. Current burn ban rules will be posted.
Acres of grass to wander through, and a Portapotty for your convenience. There is running water, but it is piped from the creek via solar-powered pump, and is not potable.
During the winter we pull the pump. Water is available from the busy creek just feet away.

Vital Farm is 25 acres of waterfront property on Clear Lake, WA.
18 acres of the property is agricultural land that is open space. The owners have a small garden and some fruit trees that are for owner's use only, but you are happy to walk around and tour the garden. Approximately 5 acres of the property is mowed for recreational use.
There is a dock for fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking or boating. The lake is open to boats, but no jet skis are allowed. You can bring your own water toys and play on the lake all day. There is open space for camping but no running water. The property has a firepit and porta potty for campers use.
You will likely see wildlife like eagles (nest nearby), deer, geese, ducks, birds and of course clear, starry night, skies.
*This is a working farm so while often you will have the property to yourself and other campers the owners may be present, occasionally, to work on farm projects and property maintenance in the periphery. We will always be respectful or your space and keep our projects to reasonable hours.
There is a gas station, coffee shop, public beach, over 21 restaurant/bar and small store within walking distance from the property too.

For your convenience, a coffee stand, gas station, tavern, and small grocery store are all reachable within a minute's drive. Additionally, you can find an RV dumpsite within a 15-minute drive.

THINGS TO DO NEARBY- Right across HWY 9 there are water activities at Big Lake, hiking and gorgeous views at Little Mountain, and swimming at Clear Lake. There are plenty of local trails nearby to explore. In downtown Mount Vernon you can walk the outdoor promenade along the Skagit River, get takeout from local restaurants and coffee shops, or visit unique downtown shops.
Please note this is a working farm with working dogs protecting our livestock 24/7 and you may hear a few barks upon your arrival.

I enjoyed this site very much. It has privacy and well kept. I have camped in this site once before and many times on Zack’s property in other sites. I highly recommend it. I like that the gates lock and there is no through traffic. The lake is a stunning view as well.

Great area and a wonderful host. Met us during a rain storm as we parked our trailer and assist through out. Much appreciated. We have a 17’ trailer which fit just fine but anything above that would be a bit tight. Would recommend driving around property vice backing down the drive. Very nice spot and super quiet. Site was convenient to so many great attractions that it is a perfect base camp or just to relax and chill. Would recommend for sure.

My husband and I enjoyed staying at Greenstone Farms. The farm and the view are quite beautiful. We had fresh eggs for breakfast which was lovely. The horses visited us before headed home.
The restroom was very clean and nice and had a heater which was nice since it was raining the night we showed up. We would have stayed longer but my husband wanted his recliner for the Mariners playoff game. I didn’t foresee that obstacle.

This spot is amazing! The view was fantastic with the lake and valley below holding our attention all day and evening. It rained almost the entire time, but sitting out under our canopy watching the rain come down was a wonderful way to pass the time. And all this, while only being five minutes from one of the best dive bars in Washington. Evelyn's has great food, interesting people and great service. Thanks Zack for the great spot, we will be back.

This space was awesome! Wish I had more time in it. Arrived after sunset and left early. The deck for tents was very cool and views of the lake great.
I will say getting up the driveway was a little sketchy but doable in my sienna mini van. Getting a start up on the incline after locking the gate was a little difficult. Would still absolutely come back though.
