Awesome location!
What a great place! Very wide open area with plenty of room for dogs to run, kids to play and do kid stuff. The lake is great, with plenty to do and see. It takes mere seconds before bald eagles are spotted, probably more than one. We were greeted by a doe and her fawn one morning. We took our kayak, which was great. It's an easy launch and Clear Lake is a great lake to paddle or row on. I am sure fishing is great, but we were too busy keeping the dogs ball moving back and forth to the water. The little coffee shop at the intersection is an easy walk and has really good breakfast burritos. The mini mart has a decent selection of ice cream if the heat is up, like it was for us. I would not hesitate to recommend this spot for a super relaxing place to just be, which was what we were looking for. Robert, Cheryl and their kids were fantastic hosts.

Lakefront Camping
Very open space with flexible camp set up options and good distance between the 2 “sites”. Kayak/canoe/dingy type access to the lake. Gas station, a coffee hut, a couple food options and a swimming beach park within short walking distance. You are in a community so all applicable noises will be heard. The hosts are nearby and a pleasure to meet. Beautiful scenery to absorb and some nearby hikes and lakes to explore.

Old Homestead W/private lake access
The place was beautiful and relaxing, the only problem was getting into the water as the shore was too muddy!

Don’t know why it says I wanted to leave bad review. It was just as explained we seen two eagles hanging out and fishing as soon as we got there!! Nice place close to town clean and tidy

Great Spot and Great Host
Gorgeous little spot. There were some other campers about 150 yards away who never left their spot so it felt totally private. There were 2 spots and both had a picnic table, Adirondack chairs and a fire pit. I felt like I had the lake to myself and my dog (who spent most of the day in it). Perfect little spot next to a garden on one side. Robert came down and welcomed me with his kids and we chatted for about a 1/2. Super nice and welcoming. Would recommend for anyone! Also, site had the cleanest portapotty I've ever seen!
