Discover the breathtaking scenery of the furthest reaches of Pacific Northwest Washington, just 15 minutes south of the Canadian border and north of Bellingham, Washington, USA. Squatch Glen is nestled at the base of Cloud Mountain, far enough from the city to disappear into nature and still close enough to all of Bellingham's main attractions. Whether you want to stay close to camp and enjoy time with your family or have Squatch glen as your base camp for exploration, we have something for everyone. Whatcom County is home to the original Ski to Sea multisport relay race. The aptly named event highlights just some of the activities available to the outdoor enthusiast open year-round and close by. Travel up the scenic Mt. Baker Byway for stunning views of our mountain range and the winding forks of the Nooksack River. Each season, you will uncover different activities to enjoy, such as fishing, snowboarding, skiing, backpacking, and hiking. Lakes and seas are within easy driving distance for kayaking or canoeing or exploring the local archipelago of the San Jan Islands by ferry from Anacortes, Washington. Squatch Glen is a newly created minimalist campground owned by a local registered nurse, Cheryl. Cheryl dreams of cultivating an affordable, small, private campground that you will want to return to year after year to experience the wonders of the PNW.

We were the only camper and it was quiet and private! Close to the border and Mt. Baker. Would like to come back!

Mini campground in Everson!
Such a cute little campground on Cheryl’s property. 6 spots hidden in the trees, bordering the farmland in Everson. Booked the spot last minute for a night away from town. Each spot had its own water jug, table, and fire pit. I had the place to myself, but even if it had been full it would have been great. Porta-loo, bathroom, and shower available. Firewood for sale if needed. Cheryl stopped by after I had settled in to say hi and make sure I had everything I needed. Would definitely recommend!! Thanks Cheryl.

We stayed here after hiking near Mt Baker and it was a nice spot to post up for the night and relax in the woods. Cheryl even let us borrow camping chairs as we forgot ours which was very nice!

This is a great spot, we were a little concerned about the size of the spots but easily backed our 18’ trailer in and still had room to park the truck and put the awning out. Mostly private sites that aren’t packed too closely together with trees separating the sites. Will definitely be back!

Great spot!
A private little campground with a hot shower and rooster sounds in the AM. What more could you ask for? Cheryl even visited our site upon arrival, gave us some good tips on the local brewery and taco scene. Sites were all generally pretty level which worked well for our roof tent setups. We'll be back!
