Location was excellent. Listing described it perfectly. We stayed in site 6. One neighbor to one side of us. Close to the bathrooms and hot showers! We got to pet the cows. Cheryl was friendly and answered our questions with ease. We will definitely spend another weekend here!

A hidden gem in Whatcom county

We had an amazing stay at Squatch Glen and can’t recommend it enough. Our host Cheryl, made us feel genuinely welcomed. She’s friendly, attentive, and clearly takes pride in the space she’s created.
The campsites are clean, level, and thoughtfully laid out. While you can see neighboring sites, they’re spaced far enough apart to maintain a sense of privacy, which we really appreciated.
Amenities here are top-notch for a rustic getaway. Each site comes with a table and clean drinking water, which was super convenient. The portapotty was impressively clean, and the shower stalls had hot water and were well-maintained, definitely a step above typical campground standards.
Overall, Squatch Glen strikes a great balance between comfort and nature. Whether you’re a seasoned camper or just dipping your toes into the outdoors, this spot is worth checking out.

Such a serene and quiet place to camp. Toilet was spotless and it was great to have a hot shower. Peaceful, quiet and clean. Would love to stay here again if in Northern Washington!.

‘Squatch Glen is a gem! We loved our stay there with the beautiful mature trees, the songs of the birds and the beautiful countryside. Cheryl, the Host is extremely kind and welcoming. We will definitely be back and bring our friends too.

The spot was one of several on the property. It feels like a very small and quiet campground found at a state park, with plenty of space to stretch. We loved the trees which helped keep things cool during hot temps, and the many animals we could see and hear throughout our stay (owls, chickens, peacocks, goats). We’ll definitely be returning.

We thought the campsite and the area in general was great. We LOVED the showers, and everything was conveniently located. The host was super nice, and we appreciated the water at our campsite!
The one drawback to our stay in particular was a large group of very noisy people in the next site on the second night of our stay. They partied all night, not stopping until well after 3AM. The acoustics under the trees seemed to amplify the noise across all campsites. We got very little sleep, and would recommend establishing and enforcing quiet hours to ensure all guests get some peace at their campsite.

The site was well cared for and in a beautiful little forested area. There were a lot of nature sounds (owls, wolves, etc) which was fine with me but may worry some folks. The sites are shaded with lots of mature trees which was nice on a sunny day. Lots of room for two tents, some chairs and a kitchen set up and a propane fireplace which was provided by the hosts. It's close to lots of great places to explore.

Beautiful space! Camp sites are well maintained. Awesome for a group or a few friends with a couple vehicles who’d like to camp together. Lovely to have access to hot showers :) Easy drive to neighboring towns.

We loved our weekend stay at Cheryl's property. The campsite was well maintained and very peaceful. We arrived to find our spot already set up with a portable table and filled water dispenser and a propane fire pit ready to go (there was a burn ban in effect for open fires and it was a great option) Waking up to the smell of Cedars was a bonus that we didn't anticipate. It's located in an ideal spot for adventuring around the area. We were able to visit the Peace Arch in Blaine, spent time in Bellingham checking out the city and were within 30 minutes of Mt. Baker. Cheryl suggested going to Silver Lake on our last day, so we ventured up into the mountains and found this amazing gem nestled in a quiet valley. The only disappointment was that there were no Bigfoot sightings! This was our first trip to the northern region of the state, but it certainly won't be the last. I told Cheryl to expect us again in the near future!

Really nice location just off Mt Baker Highway. Set in a wooded area on the edge of farmland. Each site has plenty of space with water, table, and propane fire pit.

We loved this site so much!! The whole place was very peaceful, perfectly low-key, and run by the friendliest hosts ever! There were a few magical little spots like the willow tree, the outdoor shower, and the beautifully forested campsites. The propane fireplace was perfect to allow us to still enjoy a campfire!! I highly recommend staying here- easy to find, beautiful space, outdoor showers and sinks to stay clean, and wonderful hosts!

My group and I camped on Cheryl's land for the Ski to Sea competition and I can't recommend it enough. There is plenty of space for our large group and Cheryl is very responsive and easy to coordinate with. The sites have fire pits set up as well as a water jug and table with easy access to water spigot, outhouse, and sink/shower area. I will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Sasquach Glen was so cute and peaceful to stay in. We were very fortunate and had the whole campgrounds to ourselves and even got to watch one of the most beautiful sunsets over the meadow. Definitely recommend!

Such a cute little campground on Cheryl’s property. 6 spots hidden in the trees, bordering the farmland in Everson. Booked the spot last minute for a night away from town. Each spot had its own water jug, table, and fire pit. I had the place to myself, but even if it had been full it would have been great. Porta-loo, bathroom, and shower available. Firewood for sale if needed. Cheryl stopped by after I had settled in to say hi and make sure I had everything I needed.
Would definitely recommend!! Thanks Cheryl.

We stayed here after hiking near Mt Baker and it was a nice spot to post up for the night and relax in the woods. Cheryl even let us borrow camping chairs as we forgot ours which was very nice!

This is a great spot, we were a little concerned about the size of the spots but easily backed our 18’ trailer in and still had room to park the truck and put the awning out. Mostly private sites that aren’t packed too closely together with trees separating the sites. Will definitely be back!

A private little campground with a hot shower and rooster sounds in the AM. What more could you ask for? Cheryl even visited our site upon arrival, gave us some good tips on the local brewery and taco scene. Sites were all generally pretty level which worked well for our roof tent setups.

Awesome campsite! Cheryl gave clear instructions and met us when we arrived. Nice shaded spot. You drive a little ways on a gravel road - pretty manageable without an SUV. The sites are numbered and well marked. We appreciated the water and table provided.

Great option if National, State or County parks are booked. Cheryl was accommodating and offered for us to move to a different site to allow more space from a large group. We did move, however the group was not too loud. The site, potty and outdoor shower were clean and Cheryl brought us a big cooler of water. The sites were a little closer together than I had envisioned, but not a problem and in a nice wooded area. We did hear the neighbor dogs in the distance. It sounded like a kennel, but they were far enough away that the sound did not interfere with our sleep or stay. We stayed at the Silver Fir County park the following night, which was a beautiful park, but our Hipcamp was a great option for a Saturday night when the county park was all booked.
