There was originally a camper parked here with a roof over it while the main house was built back in th 1970s. When the home was finished the camper was moved out and it was turned into the cabin. It originally had a wood stove but it was always to hot so we replaced it with an electric heater and at the same time remodeled the interior. It is very comfortable for two to three people as it only has the bunk beds, microwave, small closet and dining table with 4 chairs including a rocker and a cabinet with pots, pans and silverware for your convenience.

Includes bunk beds, frig, microwave, hot plate, coffee pot, toaster, dining table, small closet, firepit with firewood and horseshoe pits with shoes. One mile to boat launch. Ten miles to nearest loaf of bread. Close to logging roads. You will have aprox. one acre to yourself. Quiet and secluded. We are close by if ever there is anything you need.
Recently we were very close to the Crown Creek fire and a hotshot crew came and "prept" our property and cut down a lot of the underbrush therefore changing the landscape around the cabin so the main picture has changed to the current one.

“The Lazy C; Where Doing Nothing is OK" is a rustic but modern private home located on 20 beautiful acres near Wauconda, WA. We will be happy to recommend the finest day drives in the region as well as other adventure advice for our area.
The Lazy C does not have cell service. The closest cell service can be obtained 20 miles away in either the town of Tonasket or Republic.

We're nestled in the pines, just off the highway. Our property is on a deeded piece of land within the Spokane Indian Reservation. We are 5 miles from Lake Roosevelt and the Fort Spokane boat launch. Lake Roosevelt is known for its excellent fishing, and is the only lake in Washington state that contains walleye! A small motel was built on this property back in 1998 and is consistently complemented on it's clean rooms and peaceful setting. Our RV camp is rustic & peaceful with only natural vegetation (no pads), and each spot provides FULL hookups. Be prepared to level your rig. “The Lazy C; Where Doing Nothing is OK" is a rustic but modern private home located on 20 beautiful acres near Wauconda, WA. Nestled between Tonasket and Republic, we welcome visitors to our beautiful and well appointed mini RV Park. We have two 50 amp full hook up sites as well as a third site that welcomes tent campers too. The third site has 30 amps and water, with sewer available as an "Extra" for RVs that want a full hookup. It also has our "Soon to be famous" Beach Outhouse. We love the area and are eager to share the hidden gems that abound here. We will be happy to recommend the finest day drives in the region as well as other adventure advice for our area.
The Lazy C does not have cell service. The closest cell service can be obtained 20 miles away in either the town of Tonasket or Republic.
That said, wi-fi calling on most cell phones work just fine.

What a great setup! All the campsites are well marked and easy to get to, even in the dark. It’s a great setup to bring multiple families who want to share a camping experience but have your own space for a person camp experience. Kara the camp host was very good at responding to communication and let my boys and I enjoy some peace and quiet together. The bathroom was cleans and well stocked. We had a blast and would love to come back again!

Super sweet couple; and the land/view is amazing. I misunderstood the RV site situation and kinda booked the wrong one but they were accomading and helped fix it. The property is so peaceful and we even walked down the road to see the cows and sunset. This is our second year at Matt and Susan’s place and we plan to return next year again. We love this spot! My sons and I spent the weekend in solitude enjoying good food, board games, and the river! Susan’s fresh cinnamon rolls are the cherry on top of a wonderful experience. We enjoyed swimming and paddle boarding around from the private dock, playing games by lamplight, and watching the wildlife around us. Highly recommend! We’ll be back!

Brown Barrel has huge potential to become a really nice spot to get away for some quiet time. We wish we had known that we would be the only ones there as our spot was extremely dusty as it appeared to be more recently established and there was another spot that had gravel and would been a more pleasant spot to set up camp. Generally, the "camp ground" was pretty rough. The flush toilet was a major bonus even though we were fully prepared to dry camp. Our dogs appreciated being able to be off leash.

My spouse and I had an amazing time camping at Susan and Matt's. They are extremely kind hearted hosts and have a breathtakingly beautiful property along the Pend Orielle River they take great stewardship of. The camp site is very spacious, private, and well accommoted with amenities. We camp a fair amount and this is the best we've ever stayed at. I really enjoyed spending the night here. The spot is packed gravel and flat. I had the place to myself so it was quiet and dark. And they offer wi-fi! I would have stayed another night if my rig was setup to handle staying in one place during the heat wave. But I’ll definitely stay again if I’m in the area. Thanks Bryan and Colleen!

Fantastic spot for tent camping! Our site was a beautiful little glen, surrounded by trees, with a babbling brook running at the edge. The ground is flat and mostly level, so it worked well for our 10 person tent. Because of Red Flag conditions, we didn't get to use it, but Warner had a fire pit and wood already at the site. There was a large cable spindle that functioned as a good size table. The site has a little trail that leads back into the woods for a relaxing hike if you want. Warner provides an indoor bathroom and potable water from an artesian well, just yards from the "entrance" to our site. There was even a super friendly cat that would stroll through to say 'Hi' once in awhile. It was a fantastically beautiful and relaxing place to spend a long weekend.

Weekend Trip to Daisystation
My son and I had a great time here. The hosts were great - super flexible with the fact that we didn't show up until about 9pm. They waited up to show us around. The next day, they were gone and it was just me and my son in the cabin, enjoying the lake for the whole weekend. There is some noise from vehicles driving by since the property is just off the road, but it's a secluded part of the state and it wasn't bad enough to cause any problems at all. I do recommend bringing a fan if you're visiting in the warmer months, but it cooled down enough at night that we had no problems sleeping. On top of that, the night sky was perfectly clear and the Milky Way was out in all its glory. I would definitely stay here again.

The Lazy C campground was a spectacular way to end our family roadtrip. The space is clean and well kept up. Site #3 has water and electric hookups (sewer is optional for extra charge). The water line appears to run from site #2 so make sure the valve is open over there. I didn't understand why our water wasn't on until I figured that out. Beautiful views of the area and the outhouse is very clean. Pretty good wifi was available at our site.

This was our second stay with Susan and Matt, and we loved it so much the first time that we booked another trip just a month later. Without question, this is the most special campsite we’ve ever experienced.
The location is incredible—right on the river, nestled in a serene grove of cedar and larch. There’s a unique and calming energy in the trees that makes the whole place feel magical. The river was the perfect temperature, and we spent hours swimming, lounging on the dock, watching eagles hunt, and soaking in the breathtaking sunsets. At night, the sky comes alive with stars, completely free from city lights.
Susan and Matt are the ideal hosts—respectful of privacy, yet always just a text away if you need anything. Staying here feels like coming home, and we can’t wait to return again.
