We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Daisy Station Cabin! The location is stunning, but the hospitality really made it special. The host was fantastic, and we loved meeting Gretta, who lives on the property. She was so welcoming and made us feel right at home the second we got there.
The best part of the property is definitely the beach. It genuinely feels like you have the whole place to yourself for a quiet, private retreat. We visited in late May when the water level was a little low, which just meant we got to take a short, scenic walk down to the water. They told us that by the 4th of July, the water level rises, so you won't even need to do the short hike!
We were also really impressed with everything that was provided. The property comes with sleeping bags, pillows, blankets, outdoor chairs, and even a kayak to take out on the water. It made packing so much easier for us. If you’re looking for a relaxing escape near Colville National Forest where you can just unwind in nature and let your dog explore, this is the perfect spot. We can't recommend it enough and will definitely be back!

This was such a magical stay for my spouse and I! Sunset paddle boarding, cozy chairs to have coffee in the morning, private access to the lake and lots of adventure and wildlife near by! We hope to stay again soon!

My son and I had a great time here. The hosts were great - super flexible with the fact that we didn't show up until about 9pm. They waited up to show us around. The next day, they were gone and it was just me and my son in the cabin, enjoying the lake for the whole weekend. There is some noise from vehicles driving by since the property is just off the road, but it's a secluded part of the state and it wasn't bad enough to cause any problems at all. I do recommend bringing a fan if you're visiting in the warmer months, but it cooled down enough at night that we had no problems sleeping. On top of that, the night sky was perfectly clear and the Milky Way was out in all its glory. I would definitely stay here again.

Great lil spot to relax and take in the amazing views. The cabin is nestled up on a cliff over looking the river and just a few steps away is stairs leading down to the water. I wish I could have stayed longer!

My son and I stayed last year and I brought my fiancé and his kids this with us this time. There’s a good amount of space for a tent, we set up an 8 person next to the sleeping shed. It’s not fancy but it has everything you need- a place to sleep, bathroom with running water on site, and access to the water (which was most important to us). The sunsets are pretty there and you have a great view. You can’t beat having a shoreline to yourself! Thanks for having us!

My sister and I went there to Daisy station and we had a little cabin with two twin beds in it there was a power there for whatever we needed and we thought it was lovely we met Greta and she was just a wonderful wonderful person we visited her with her for a while and totally enjoyed ourselves we had the beach all to ourselves in the common area was really nice and even the bathroom the flush toilet that was great too I was surprised we will definitely be going back..

This is a terrible spot for dogs. They have to be on leash at all times. High-speed truckers are literal feet away. Not safe. Not friendly. Cluttered, messy space. Oof!

I read all the reviews and they all spoke about how welcoming and accommodating the host was with them.
I sent mesg well before my arrival to say that it would be late and dark are there any landmarks or arrival instructions we could have in advance? Never got a response. What I found on arrival was several non running abandoned motor homes, no lighting and several out buildings. One house where a light was on and there we were met by a women so intoxicated she could not stand or speak a coherent sentence. With flash lights we found multiple extension cords and ran them to the bathroom. The “cabin” is an unfinished shed. There was one bed not two as advertised, and a lamp with no light bulb. With flash lights we rummaged thru the other shed to at least find a cot and hauled it over to our cabin. The bathroom is a toilet in side of a storage building with chemicals, motor oil, plumbing parts etc. the hot water in sink ran down the wall so had only cold water and no toilet paper. If there was WiFi a password was never provided. A message was sent to host in the morning of the situation got no response 15 minutes later there was toilet paper in the bathroom. on the 2nd day a man and woman snuck up on us and hid behind a shed I said hello and gave a friendly wave to which no reply was given and they quickly disappeared. Creepy! Several messages and no response ever given. The spot is great but mismanaged by a drunk who made us feel unwelcomed

Really cute camp spot. The host Greta came right out and settled me in, she was very helpful. I had booked this Hipcamp spur of the moment so found that there was no electricity set up in the cabin. The night was cold so it was pretty cold (May camping) and dark. As far as the camping experience the beach was so beautiful and I had it all to myself! The common ground area was inviting and so nicely decorated that I spent all evening there making a fire and enjoying the beautiful scenery. I would go back to this Hipcamp it has a charm to it that I loved. Next time I will just ask if there will be electricity available or be better prepared. Thank you for the stay, I hope you'll have me again.

Turned out to be a diamond in the ruff....
Water level very low (Not host fault)
My mom using a cane and a walker, struggled a bit. The pictures showed grass, dock etc. None of that was available. Neither was host. She didn't communicate with us that she was out of state and no one was there when we arrived. Fortunately a friend of the host, named Tiffany, was driving by and helped us out tremendously! She was a delight!!
The cabin was simple yet comfy and tent site was perfect.
All the basics are available; flush toilet, running cold water, electricity through extension cord, table and chairs, and even a mini fridge and prep counter. We were very comfortable when it got real windy. The scenery/sunsets were beautiful!!

We loved staying at Daisy Station. The beach area was huge and very private. The cabin was super cute and had a great mini fridge and countertop to use to prep food. The views are amazing. It is just off the Highway but after 8pm, very few cars go by. It was very quiet.

The little cabin was perfect for my son and I. We brought a paddle board and explored the shoreline. The beach is down some steps but I was able to carry the board up and down no problem. We enjoyed the privacy and beautiful sunset!

This is a great little cabin on the river! The views are stunning, and the beach access was fantastic!
Sherry provided fresh drinking water, and made sure we knew the location of the shared bathroom and other amenities. She was also close by if we needed anything else. They had family guests when we stayed, but they weren't obtrusive at all... it felt like we had our own getaway spot on the river.
The beach area is rocky so be sure to bring your water shoes along with your suit. Our dogs had a great time splashing in the river and exploring the area (on leash).
The two twin mattresses provided in the cabin were actually quite comfortable. While it's close to the road, and there is a bit of traffic, it's not so much to keep you up at night. I would suggest bringing a (battery operated) fan if you stay in the middle of a heat wave like we did.
