Dana and Susan were so welcoming and hospitable, we felt right a home! My girlfriend and I took our dog with us for our first time camping and the experience was incredible. We had so much fun exploring the creek at the edge of their property and making s’mores by the campfire!

A little tight for a 26' camper. But a nice peaceful place to stay. Host was very accommodating and offered lots of extras. Creek was very nice to listen to and the blanket of stars was exactly what we needed. Make sure you have 4 wheel drive and plenty of clearance for this one.

Great place to stay, 10/10!

Great place to stay! Very quiet other than the grouse which were "trying to make friends" as Dana said. 😆 Dana was a great host. He told us how to get to the waterfall and made sure we were comfortable in our site. He even lent my daughter a book on various plants and animals in the area. So, the sites are very large except for the prairie whiskers site which you have to drive through to reach the meadow or on the creek sites. We stayed at "on the creek" which is definitely the best of the sites. It has a picnic table with an umbrella and if you walk down to the river, there is a little chimnea with chairs around it for a more private fire.

Starry night getaway

Home Base

We stayed at 509 to watch the Perseid meteor showers. The place was all setup with flat, well compacted land. The hosts were very gracious and accommodating. The creek was a nice treat, next time we will go swimming!

Creek house was an amazing place to come visit. It is somewhere I plan to go back to. Dana was an awsome host,very knowledgeable about the valley and land. Dana brought our group on a great hike out to the water falls. Creek house was a great place to get away from the city, looking forward to going back. Thank you for the great experience Dana. The Creek House

This is a beautiful area. I took my dogs here to escape firework noise. I am grateful that we had a hideout and I expected a very rustic cabin. What I did not expected was a semi-clean cabin. Old is fine, dirty is not. Sadly, I will not rent the cabin again. I had hoped to find an annual spot to escape fireworks. Honestly, it reminded me of a college party house. If that's the goal you've succeeded.

A creek side escape

When I booked the trip I was looking for a weekend surrounded by nature with friends. Dana’s land positioned along side the Chamokane Creek delivered. Dana; along with his partner have beautifully restored their land in their years of stewardship. Numerous native wildflowers were in their summer bloom and an abundance of native species were viewable. The sunsets and sunrises with the creek and trees as a back drop was basically a religious experience. Dana’s farm tour highlighted the plight of local cannabis farmers. If you work a high stress job in psych, medicine or any sort of business this place could be your new secret weekend escape too. There are numerous activities and sites to see all minutes away.

Great stay at the Creek House!

We loved our time at the Creek House. Dana and his partner were so friendly, generous, and laid back when we met them and I think that vibe just continued the whole weekend. The house had everything we needed and lots more! Well stocked and comfy-cozy. The house has 3 bedrooms that sleep 6 comfortably (1st bedroom has 1 king bed, 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds, and the 3rd bedroom has 1 full or maybe queen sized mattress). Lots of space for tents in the front and back of the house as well. We had such fun exploring around the creek (check for ticks afterwards!), biking on the dirt roads, looking at cool rocks, and hanging out on the front porch of the house watching the hummingbirds. After sunset we enjoyed some epic games of kick-the-can lit by a small bonfire. The stars were beautiful.

The site and hosts were amazing! The hosts were so nice and helpful, showed us where the site was and answered all our questions. The site was beautiful and right on the creek. The view of the creek from our site was beautiful and the bench along the water was perfect to sit on before and after playing in the water.

This adorable cabin deserves one million stars. This place has the perfect blend of rustic cabin and modern amenities such as WI-FI, AC and a huge flat screen TV. However, you'll likely not need the TV as the surrounding property is absolutely gorgeous with a clean, clear creek and huge trees. The owners Dana and his wife Suzy are kind, generous and simply amazing. I cannot rave about this place enough. I had such an awesome experience and can't wait to come back. Thank you so much Dana & Suzy for your warmth and kindness and for welcoming me into your home and your hearts. I am so grateful!

Clean and quiet. Came in at dark and a last minute booking so we accidentally went to a neighbors land who wasn’t too happy, but it worked out. Enjoyed the spot to sleep and felt comfortable.

The site was beautiful! Love the little walkways and paths. The stars at night are amazing. The waterfall is super cool and such a great peaceful bike ride we took to get there through the woods. Loved it here

I loves Camping on Dana’s Land. We camped pretty close to the creek and could hear it babbling just outside our camper window. Quiet and serene! Felt good to dip our feet in the creek too. I loved the seclusion and the kids had a blast! Definitely going back before the end of the summer to enjoy this spot again!!! Dana and his wife Suzy were awesome hosts!

The hosts were super friendly and accommodating, with a warm greeting upon our arrival. Dana walked me down the access to the campsite to make sure none of the brush overhanging was going to be a problem for our camper. Once we got settled he came to dig out the fire pit where we though best suited us, a small perk for being the first campers in the site. The location is very peaceful, with the highway far enough away, only very noisy vehicles can be heard. Otherwise the traffic is non-existent. The creek provides a lovely background to the multitudes of chirping birds solidifying the natural serenity of this location. The only disturbance we encountered was a gathering the neighbors had on the adjacent property, but I can’t fault the hosts for this. It only lasted a couple hours and everything was peaceful again. Don’t judge this site looking at Google satellite images. The previous occupants had loads of garbage everywhere. It has since been cleaned up. This is definitely going on our list of places to revisit in the future.
