Private sites

Looking for the perfect place to unplug and reconnect with nature? Our private 30-acre mountain property offers a peaceful, off-grid camping experience just an hour north of Spokane and only 20 minutes from the highway — yet it feels like a world away. We’ve created a couple of quiet, spacious campsites nestled among the trees, each with its own private porta-potty for added convenience. This is true backcountry camping, so be sure to bring your own water and pack out what you pack in. Endless adventure awaits just outside your tent: hike, hunt, or explore miles of scenic logging roads by foot, mountain bike, or E-bike. Despite the remote feel, cell service is strong so you can easily access trail maps and plan your next outing. More campsites and even a cozy rental cabin are coming soon! Whether you're seeking solitude or an active outdoor getaway, this is the ideal basecamp for your mountain escape.

CAMPSITE 2

100% (5)
RV/tent site · Sleeps 6 · Vehicles under 25 ft
Welcome to Campsite 2! This is a beautiful forested site that provides plenty of shade and room for tarps. There is space for 3 vehicles and tents or self contained vehicles. This site is tucked against a hill side with beautiful views of the valley. You have your own private outhouse at this site. There is also a small cabin located on this site that is not available for rent at this time. Please do not enter the cabin. PLEASE NOTE, there are many animals that visit our area including black bears, coyotes, bob cats, deer, elk, moose and many more. If you have small children or pets, please keep an eye on them. Please come prepared to defend yourself and keep all food locked up in your vehicle. The gate you drive in on is a through road that we use for hiking. As you walk this road you will come across a couple of trail signs, Meadow Ridge trail and Sunset Trail which lead you to the upper property where we have our camper. We also have an open air covered deck that you are more than welcome to visit and check out the views. Feel free to pack a picnic and enjoy the deck. While exploring the lower road, you may come across other campers. Please be mindful of their privacy. NO SHOOTING or HUNTING ON PROPERTY GROUNDS We may be there during your stay, and we are excited to share our space with you. Actually, we would love to meet you! We have two black German Shepard dogs that might want to come say hello while you are camping. If you are bringing your dogs, please keep them on a leash, if they are not friendly to other dogs. If they are friendly, please feel free to let them explore. You will get great cell phone service up here that will give you the ability to look at road - trail maps. We are in an area with tons of logging roads that gives you access to ride you bikes, hunt or hike. You can bike down to the back side of Deer Lake through a national Wildlife Reserve as well as Horse Shoe Lake. Please keep in mind that many of these roads have gates that you will need to lift your bike around in order to explore. There are miles and miles of roads to explore while staying at Zaltana. There is no water access at the property. Please bring your own water and this site is a PACK IT IN PACK IT OUT SITE. One other note to mention is that we are off a logging road. You may hear logging trucks throughout your stay.

Campsite 1

RV/tent site · Sleeps 6 · Vehicles under 25 ft
This site is very open with room for up to 3 vehicles and tents. This site would be perfect for self contained campers or sprinter vans as there are no trees to attach tarps in case it rains. If you had a shade tent, that would work to keep you dry. This site is blue sky property and the views are absolutely stunning. Star gazing is also a must at this site as the sky stretches on forever. You also have your own private porta potty on site.
