There was originally a camper parked here with a roof over it while the main house was built back in th 1970s. When the home was finished the camper was moved out and it was turned into the cabin. It originally had a wood stove but it was always to hot so we replaced it with an electric heater and at the same time remodeled the interior. It is very comfortable for two to three people as it only has the bunk beds, microwave, small closet and dining table with 4 chairs including a rocker and a cabinet with pots, pans and silverware for your convenience. Learn more about this land: Country cabin is on the treeline at the base of O'tool mt. across the street from Lk. Roosevelt. Includes bunk beds, frig, microwave, hot plate, coffee pot, toaster, dining table, small closet, firepit with firewood and horseshoe pits with shoes. One mile to boat launch. Ten miles to nearest loaf of bread. Close to logging roads. You will have aprox. one acre to yourself. Quiet and secluded. We are close by if ever there is anything you need. Recently we were very close to the Crown Creek fire and a hotshot crew came and "prept" our property and cut down a lot of the underbrush therefore changing the landscape around the cabin so the main picture has changed to the current one.Country cabin is on the treeline at the base of O'tool mt. across the street from Lk. Coming up this weekend July 8,9 and 10 "Northport fishing derby" walley and trout. Entry fee (only $20.00 purchase at gas station in Northport) gets you into both.

Another fantastic visit at the cabin! Bill is an amazing host who goes above and beyond to make sure the cabin is cozy and ready for us. He even went a step further to help us look for a lost item once we were home. His communication is the best!

Cozy, warm cabin in the woods
Cabin in the woods
The rustic "cabin in the woods" was exactly what we needed to overnight on our motorcycle exploration of this beautiful riverside area. We normally camp, but the temperatures were quite chilly, so the heat provided in the cabin kept us very cozy. Since there's no running water, William had us set up with a large jug. There's a small fridge, hot plate, microwave and coffee maker. We had our own plates & utensils from our camping set, but there were some provided. The outhouse was just a short walk away. We had a nice chat with William as we loaded up the motorcycles. We enjoyed our short stay and would recommend. We arrived a little too late to make a fire, but the wood was available.

Cabin in the woods
This is our 3rd Thanksgiving weekend at Bill's cabin and we love it. It is cozy and just what our family needs for a hunting getaway. Very nice hosts and love that our dogs are welcome. Hope to be back again!

This is our second year in a row spending Thanksgiving here. Quiet, clean, calm, cozy. Not super isolated. Bottom bunk is so comfy! Thanks for another great stay!

This little cabin was just what my family needed after long active days in the woods. For a small space, there was a variety of cooking tools and it stayed cozy warm. The beds were comfy and we enjoyed our stay!

Cute n cozy. Not super secluded and still had cell service. Very kind and helpful host. Great way to get to explore Northern Washington State!

Not only was the cabin amazing, but the host was fantastic as well. He was very kind and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The bed was so comfy that even my overexcited toddler who NEVER sleeps on road trips slept through the night and i was able to finish my road trip well rested

William and his wife were very nice! The cabin is cute inside and the bed is very comfortable. It wasn’t as private as we hoped, there is a lot of people about 300yards away who were up at all hours. Also it is dog friendly but those people on the next door property have a dog who likes to come over but is very skiddish.

The host and site were great!! Close to many outdoor activities. The only downfall is the cabin only has one window that opens, so the cabin is very warm until it cools down later in the night.

The cabin is close to the garage and not far from the main house, but otherwise is in just a super lovely spot. The property is maintained beautifully and the cabin itself is charming. It is a small space without running water to the cabin, but there is a wash basin and wash clotha and towels! There is also electricity, wall lights, a little fridge, and a nice fire pit and propane grill. All of the campgrounds in thr area are currently covid closed so this was a great opportunity!. Highly recommended if an outhouse doesnt bother ya! I will definately come back again!

The owners are a total charm. They have a wonderful piece of blessed land. The cabin is super cozy and the environment is very quiet and peaceful. Couldn’t ask for anything else. Big thanks to them.
