Also, there is a large, mowed field, with uneven ground, a little over an acre, surrounded by forest and a small stream on two sides. Mt Rainier is 32 minutes away while Mount St. Helens is 2 hours away. Alder Lake is about 20 minutes away as well as several other lakes are within an hour. There are many hiking trails in the surrounding area.

This is a gorgeous park-like RV campground situated between the trees of the arboretum. NO TENTS, please. Also we have NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS. Beautiful view of the mountains and forests here in western Washington. We are close to Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier and several lakes. There are walking trails all around the site. The 12 acre campground is located on a 136 acre property that is an active Christmas tree farm. Trails continue throughout the tree farm. Many trails have a view of the Tilton River, which can be reached via a challenging 3/4 mile trail. Sites are on 12 acres planted with many different species of trees that are about 30 years old. Giant Redwoods, Cedars, and Maples are just a few of the varieties present. Part of the farm is still a working Christmas tree farm. The trails are wide and grassy. The old logging road that we use as a trail to the river has an elevation change of about 500 feet, the trail can be quite challenging. Bear Creek empties into the Tilton river at the end of the trail. There is an ART GALLERY where you can learn to pound flowers, see the host's artwork and get a cup of coffee! This is upstairs through the check-in entry-way. Tilton River Studio Gallery. Three sites have electrical hookups. Every site has a water spigot (use a pressure regulator if you want to hook up). No restrooms or sewer hookups. Garbage disposal site (dumpster) available Memorial Day to Labor Day. We look forward to hosting you!

Pleasant Places campground is clean, quiet, spacious, and private with lots of nooks for R&R, as well as ample space for play and activities. It is an ideal location for large groups and in order to keep the campground as a single site, larger groups are given preference. Birdsong comes early here, and crickets and frogs light up the evenings. There aren't any city lights, so stargazing is a real delight. Centrally located and with 10 acres of field, forest, and farm, there is something of interest for everyone. In camp, you will find a rustic kitchen with three picnic tables, and a fire pit with accessories. There is a sink for your convenience so remember to bring water containers for hand and dish washing. The resource area for campers is at the second gate and has an electrical outlet, a water hose, and a wagon for transporting items to camp. We have several items for sale, including nice firewood bundles, farm-fresh eggs, and snacks for hand-feeding the farm animals. Lawn games (volleyball, badmintton, bocci ball), hammocks, a parachute, etc. are available for rent. **Immediate availability for long term RV tenant.** Monthly discount available. Property is a 5-acre gated horse farm surrounded by wooded military property on 3 sides. Conveniently located 10 mins from Tacoma, 20 mins from Olympia. Just 5 mins to Starbucks/coffee and grocery stores but far enough away from the city so it feels more secluded. American Lake and Spanaway Lake (and their parks with playgrounds) for swimming and paddle boarding are both just 5 mins away! The owner lives on site, as well as several horses, chickens, and a dog. Large stone fire pit with chairs near house is available for camper use. Paddle board rental and bicycles for use on property or trails! Set-up your tent anywhere within the horse paddocks - there are no specific sites, although there is a small fire pit and rustic bench seating at far back corner of property. Tents can be outside of horse areas as well, if preferred. RV dry camping anywhere within or outside horse areas. For RVs needing dedicated electrical/water hookup, there are specific sites closer to the house. ***If you are travelling with more than one vehicle, please purchase an car extra parking spot.*** Only four 30amp RV spots are available and are most easily accessible for RVs under 30'. Standard 110volt outlets can also be available for RV use. Certain breed restrictions - no pit bulls, chows, or other potentially aggressive breeds allowed on property. No RVs, campers or trailers older than 2015 model, or unsightly as per owners discretion. No vehicles, RVs, or trailers needing work or repairs. Woodbrook Hunt Club, the oldest fox hunting club west of the Mississippi, is a neighbor so lots of horseback riding goes on in the neighborhood. (Dragged scent only, no live foxes are harmed.) Private horseback riding lessons or guided trail rides available by reservation only, subject to weather and owner availability. Use of military trails adjacent to property for hiking and bike riding subject to open land usage and permitting by military base. Happy HipCamping! 😊

Beth and her husband were very welcoming and had a great spot you an RV. Their sheep were awesome and shadow (the cat) is incredibly friendly and will hang out with you.

4 nights at WOODED CAMPERS DELIGHT

We had a very relaxing and lovely time! We travel in a 30ft class C. We fit perfectly. We also travel with a medium size dog. There is an old logging road right across the street perfect for walks. There are areas on site that are perfect for middle of the night when puppy has to go. Yes, the owners are on site, but other than the initial greeting we didn't see them. We were relaxed. There was enough room to park our extra vehicle and set out chairs. We work remotely, so while our phones were fine, we did struggle to get strong enough service to work. But if you are not working, it is perfect. It was a wonderful spot and we will be back. Oh, Starlink worked great.

This spot was perfect for my family of 5! It is a great site for anyone looking to travel near white pass. The site is kept very clean and has a lot of room for family activities. The host was very communicative and responded quickly with answers to questions. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get away from the busy city life and be out in the woods!

I loved camping at this spot by the river. It was so conveniently close to Mt. Rainier, just off the road but far enough to only hear the river rather than the road. The bathrooms we clean, the campsites were well situated, and it couldn’t have been better!

Great spot! Lots of room. Full hookups! Our 32 ft trailer got in and out just fine but I wouldnt try to pull in in the dark! Get there early!! Great cell service with Tmobile. Blazing mobile data speeds. We stayed here to ski at White pass which is about 20 mins away. Just far enough to get out of the freezing weather with the trailer.

It’s very private since we were the only campers that time we stayed there. I definitely would like to stay there in summertime . The caretakers did way beyond what. We expected . He gave us wood to burn and we did enjoyed our overnight there even it rained . The brook an added tranquil touch of my experience. Thank you and I hope to go back again soon.

5 nights at The Old Farm

This was the ideal spot for our week-long trip, staying in the foothills of Mt Rainier. Surrounded by trees (the land is an old Christmas tree farm!), a hiking trail on property, dog friendly, full hook-ups for the RV and plenty of space, an hour from the trailhead in the park, and the sweetest hosts. Would absolutely encourage any camper(s) looking to spend some time in a quaint mountain town close to Rainier, to stay here!

Weekend Trip to Green Mountain Lookout

We absolutely love this spot! Very private and great views. It poured rain and was very windy this weekend, but we hunkered down, watched movies and read- it was just what we needed! The only downside was getting into the spot. The directions are not clear that you need to back down into the spot- so when you get to the “driveway” you need to back down and it is a little steep. Unfortunately, even though I had read other reviews, we didn’t realize this point & ended up needing to back up onto the main road in 4wd (and luckily we have an F-350- our previous truck would not have been able to handle this even with 4wd). Make sure you assess before you head to the spot.

Amazing experience. My boyfriend and I are first time pop up camper owners, and Bumps & Bruzas was our first destination. Very cool owner and beautiful property. Our spot on the water was perfect for our 14 foot pop up. Made lots of memories in 2 days. Loved the art all over the property, and loved the army of frenchies. Definitely will come back again!

We really enjoyed our time at Witt's End. Jake and his wife put a lot of thought and care into the space they created. It was also fun to watch the salmon coming upstream to spawn.
