Sixteen years ago we accomplished that dream, giving us access to a Shenandoah Valley treasure, and yes, we are on the first of the Seven Bends. Although we live in the main log cabin, we are happy to share our tiny living screened cabin over looking the river with many activities available to you. Although we are only minutes from I81, the setting is very private, in the woods behind our home. Park at the main cabin and hike 200 feet down the hill to the secluded River Cabin overlooking the North Fork of the Shenandoah River. You'll have river access for fishing, swimming and paddling (kayaks and canoes provided), or you can just sit on the dock and watch the sunset. Retreat back into the screened cottage for a quiet restful evening or relax on the deck by a fire. We are a Glamping site... like a hotel stay in the woods.
