Our goal was to keep the cost of building down so that we could pass on the savings to you so that you would not have to be rich to enjoy our lovely area. This inspired the idea of a glamping cabin. The cabin is actually a repurposed office building that was built about the time this property was purchased by our family. We moved it to the present location and completely remodelled it in 2018 and added the bathroom. For 4 years, guests enjoyed an off-the-grid experience. In 2023, when we began work on the glamping dome (stay tuned--coming soon!!), we decided to add electricity, running water, and a hot tub to the tiny house! We hope you enjoy the cabin (and, soon, the dome) and the stunning view from them as much as we enjoy sharing this beautiful spot with you! Note: The Charming Glamping Cabin is at a totally different property. That property also has a section that used to be farmed. Now a lot of it is forest. We purchased the property around 2000. This cabin was built approx. 10 years later. At that point, the cabin was a tiny economy cabin with a sofa bed. However, it seemed most folks preferred comfort over economy, so in 2020, we added a bump-out to the side of the cabin so there would be room for a queen bed. Guests have loved the improvement. We had an incredible stay during our family trip. We originally booked for two nights but ended up extending another day because we didn’t want to leave. We came as a family of four with two little kids, and this place exceeded all our expectations. The property is beautiful with incredible views and great amenities, you really don’t need to leave. Our kids especially loved the arcade, the pumpkin carving, and the zip line. The tiny home was spotless, well kept, and the welcome basket with snacks, wine, and s’mores kit was such a nice touch. We had the pleasure of the owners who were warm and hospitable. Their recommendation to visit the Farmers Daughter shop was spot-on, the burgers, sausages, and steak were fantastic. Quiet, relaxing, and perfect for families or couples. We’re already planning our next trip. Highly recommend, 5 stars!

The view and location was everything we were looking for when visiting luray caverns. We actually did a cold plunge in the river. It was awesome. We booked another night just because we wanted to enjoy the scenery and tranquility. The hosts were responsive. The only thing I will say is me and my girlfriend were unable to take a decent shower in the shower rooms because after a minute or so of the water running. It began to smell like sewage. So after the first night we didn’t shower or brush our teeth or anything inside the bathrooms/showers. It was a really horrible putrid smell anytime we tried to shower.

My husband, daughter, and I stayed here over the weekend. The location was peaceful and absolutely gorgeous with the autumn leaves. The cabin was cozy, and the accommodations were pleasant. The bathhouse was well kept, clean, and maintained. We hung out with our cabin neighbors over a bonfire, and the whole experience was memorable. We will definitly be coming here again.

My fiancee and I had a lovely and relaxing stay at this glamping site. It was beautiful and scenic, and the stars really came out and popped at night when the skies were clear. There is a toilet right behind the tent and a shower on site, as well as wifi provided, which is very convenient. Jud was incredible and very accommodating for all of our needs. We had a great time time chatting with him about how he arrived to the area and he gave great recommendations on things to do / check out nearby. We are already planning our next trip back, next time with more of our friends! Lovely stay - couldn't recommend enough.

What a great experience. Suvdie's yurt has such an amazing panoramic view, and everything you could possibly need on a trip. We had a great time playing golf at Bryce Resort which is just 3 minutes away, and there are a ton of great vineyards within 25 minutes of the yurt, all worth visiting. Suvdie was very communicative before, during, and after our trip to make sure we were prepared before we came, had everything we needed during our trip, and had a great experience afterwards. I can't recommend this Host and the yurt enough!

We absolutely loved staying here. It was "roughing it" without really "roughing it". I.e., we had access to a toilet and an actual bed. The night we arrived was unseasonably cold, but a propane heater was provided and the bed was warm, cozy and really felt luxurious. So comfy! Jud taught us about the berries on the bushes that kids loved to eat and also feed the goats with. The location was perfect too. Allowed us to be flexible with our plans since hikes and other attractions were abundant, some as close as minutes away. Has easily become one of our favorite places to camp.

We really loved our stay here, such a beautiful location! There’s already a fire pit, grill, hammock and table which is great. Camp cats are a plus for us!!! Usually we tent camp but we have a baby and with the cold nights/mornings this time of year, this was perfect. Loved being close to showers and restrooms - only downfall was people from another location drove multiple cars down and used our already shared bathhouse. The first night was fine as this didn’t happen but the second night and morning there was at least 10 additional people which really made it difficult. We left an hour later than planned because they filled the bathhouse our morning of departure and we had to wait for them to leave. Not sure if this is typical but that was a negative for us as it’s already shared with other cabins.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Kale’s Cottage. We found it clean, comfortable and well-appointed. The kitchen has all the basics which allowed us to eat all of our meals in the tiny house. We made a fire one evening and enjoyed s’mores. The host is delightful, attentive, responsive and kind. We have already booked another visit.

We had a great experience glamping. Everything you foul ever need had been thought of and provided. The host gave us a warm welcome and provided detailed instructions. We are used to camping so having a bed and toilet was quite the treat. First night got down to 45 and there was a small propane heater we used to heat the tent before bed and when we woke up so we were quite warm. The land and area are beautiful and we enjoyed the plentiful stars. Blue quartz winery/brewery was truly at the end of the road and we had a fabulous evening with more views there after hiking in Shenandoah National Park. Definitely would recommend the stay to others and hope to come back soon!

A magical place and stay. Our host Judson couldn't have been welcoming. He gave the kids the run of his beautiful property and even brought us coffee in the morning. The tent was set up wonderfully and allowed us to survive one very rainy night with no ill effects. We'll definitely be back.
