We are located about 30 minutes from Shenandoah National Park, New Market Battlefield, and the Skyline Drive, which is stunning any time of year! Our camp wedding weekend ❤️
The Cottage at B and M Journey Farm
Brittany and Mike are two of the kindest, most thoughtful, fun people we've met. A true joy to spend the weekend on their property with family and friend for our camp wedding. It was the most perfect setting and the most perfect weekend we could have imagined. The barn is out of a storybook, natural, lovely, and it was perfect for us to use to eat meals, dance the night away, and for a couple family member to sleep in. It kept us dry from the rain and had everything we needed. The cottage is beautifully renovated and the cutest place to stay full of everything you need - coffee, AC, a bathtub. It was the perfect getaway our second night staying after we camped in a tent the first night. Their land is stunning sitting up high with a beautiful view of the mountains and the vineyard. The greenhouse that sits on their property is such a unique and awesome place to relax in the mornings with a view of the mountains and the land. The animals are another awesome touch - everyone in our crew absolutely loved hanging out with the goats, cows, and puppies and it made for an unforgettable, lovely weekend. The property is so big with such wonderful camping spots, and we will absolutely be back! Thank you Brittany and Mike for allowing us to have our wedding here without any hesitation. We couldn't have dreamed up a better weekend. We are already looking forward to coming back to the cottage for our anniversary!

We had a great time despite being a very short trip. Site #3 was ideal as it was a little more private and a good amount of shade for the hot summer. The scenery is nice and farm animals are fun for the kids, especially the friendly black cat that hung out with us during our camp fire! Would definitely consider camping here again!

Had a great stay here, a really well kept property with pretty trees and cute animals. The owners were friendly but let us keep to ourselves. The site definitely felt very private and quiet. Location is perfect, not a long drive from the interstate but you can't tell, it's totally peaceful. The toilet is a portapotty but it's the nicest one you'll ever step foot in. The goats and the black cat were so sweet.

Tent camping on Mike’s land was amazing. Great views, proximity to Shenandoah NP, fire pit with free wood, and a bottle of their honey that he gave us for free! Mike also has a beautiful farm that you are encouraged to explore (look out for the goats, cows, dogs, and black cat that couldn’t be sweeter). Couldn’t recommend it more!

Amazing HipCamp
Cozy Loft at B&M Journey Farm Barn
Highly recommend! We had such a great time here. The hosts were incredibly kind and generous, and the property itself is absolutely beautiful. We loved spending time with the animals and exploring the land, the barn loft was so much fun, and the stars at night were stunning. It’s also a fantastic location with lots to do in the surrounding area. Waking up on this beautiful farm was such a treat. We’ll definitely be back!

Cozy Loft at B&M Journey Farm Barn
Wonderful stay for my first Hipcamp experience. This is a great spot with winery options and Shenandoah trails nearby. The barn is lit well and is comfortable and the fire pit and animals are perfect for a relaxing night stargazing. Hosts had great communication and easy to find. Enjoy!

My friend and I loved camping at B&M. The views from their land were spectacular, they were very sweet to provide plenty of firewood, and we enjoyed exploring the farm and meeting their animals. Britney and Mike were very kind and personable, and chatted with us for a bit when they dropped off some firewood for us. This stay is quiet (other than farm animal noises😂) and only a few minutes away from downtown New Market and great hiking spots! The only negative thing I experienced was all the cobwebs in the outhouse- they freaked me out because I am used to staying at state park campgrounds that dont have quite as many spiders/webs😅. nonetheless, B&M has my 5 stars and recommendation!!

Mike and Brittany are great in so many ways. They do an amazing job keeping up with an expansive farm, they are kind and welcoming, and it seems they enjoy that others can benefit from having a peaceful R&R. If you're feeling like you need a break from the hustle and bustle, I would highly reccomend winding down and staying in the cozy cottage or barn house.

Peaceful Mountain Retreat

This is a really beautiful and special place and I would highly recommend a stay here! Mike was extremely hospitable and went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed and taken care of. This property is in the perfect location, close to many amazing hikes, secluded, but just a short drive to town with restaurants and grocery stores if you need to stock up. The animals add an extra charm and the fire pit was a great spot to cozy up and enjoy the peacefulness of the scenery. We stayed in the big barn and it was Very spacious and one of the most unique and comfortable places I’ve stayed in. I def plan on returning in the future!

Super friendly hosts and a beautiful setting. We loved meeting the different animals and walking around the farm. Enjoyed clear dark skies and a fire in one of their several fire rings. Nice quiet location, not far from Shenandoah.

Decided to go on a last minute trip to Shenandoah National Park and found this gem! Although it was a bit cold, we still had a great time and enjoyed this beautiful farm. Especially the baby goats, the stars and the cat that came to visit us. The hosts were very kind people that provided us recommendations to local wineries and restaurants. Thanks so much for sharing your land!

We highly recommend camping at this spot if you’re visiting Luray or Shenandoah! Highlights included watching the sunrise over the farm and seeing the baby goats! We appreciated that the outhouse was clean and well stocked with a first aid kit and toiletries.

This is such a wonderful site to visit.! The owners are extremely welcoming, always stopping to chat and to teach us more about their property. The directions are clear, the views are beautiful, and only a short distance from great hiking trails. We love coming here and will be back very soon! You need to try their local honey too!
