We had such a great stay! Falling asleep to the sound of flowing water was very peaceful. Beautiful place to bird watch and also see the stars at night. This was our second time staying here and we plan to return as often as possible.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights with our 3 pups. The views are beautiful and directions to the site were easy to follow. Site 2 was perfect! Our three pups loved having an open area to play, run around, and swim in the river. Plus, it’s just a short drive to Shenandoah National Park, which was a huge bonus. I would absolutely stay here again!

Kari’s land is serene. The campsite worked extremely well for us in the midst of monsoon like rains.
Don’t think about it just book it (only when I’m not reserving, though ;-) ).

Loved the place! Nice and quiet, overlooking the river. Good quality fire pit with built in grate came in very useful. The elevated platform with roof helps with shade and keeping the critters/bugs out. There was also plenty of shade coverage provided by the trees at this site. The porta potty was clean and well maintained. It was nice to be able to let my doggo run around leash free and enjoy nature. Would definitely camp here again!

River Site #1 was a great site! Lots of nice details, from the fire pit to the covered deck, made this a great stay. It was also very private, with the other site pretty far away and only one house visible in the distance. I would absolutely stay here again.

Took my son on his first camping trip here recently as it was the perfect combination of remote camping yet close to town with on site amenities and I was right! The site itself was even better than described. At site #1 it was a short walk to the parking lot and Porta potty (essentially right next to it), the platform made for easy tent set up and protection from the elements, Fire pit area was the perfect size and felt very comfortably situated close to the camp and overlooking the water. We could see the other guests at site #2 slightly but also obscured by trees and the sound didn’t travel really between camps so it felt very private. The path down to the river was pretty steep and muddy, but once down in the river, it is the absolute perfect fly fishing spot and great place when low water level for kids to play. 100% will be returning hopefully more than once with family and on a solo fishing weekend. Unfortunately, I had to leave in the middle of the night with my son as he woke up feeling sick, But it was very easy for us to quickly pack up and drive up the hill out of the site, and it is very close to amenities in town (McDonald’s, Gas Station, Food Lion, etc.). Book this site! You won’t regret it.

This was our third time staying on the property but the first time staying at site 2. This has turned into our favorite spot for. Quick weekend getaway. The view from our site was amazing and we loves hearing the sound of the river while we sleep. We were able to see a family of deer across the river as well. We will definitely be back again

I think this campsite is phenomenal and we really enjoyed our stay. The firewood was close by and that was very convenient. If I could make any changes it would be cleaning up the brush along the river

Kari’s Hipcamp site was perfect! We stayed at site #1 which is closest to the parking lot and the shared bathroom. We were right near the river and had plenty of privacy. The two sites are a good distance away from each other to where you would not be able to hear conversation. The deck was a great addition to feel lifted from the ground, and also protection from any potential rain. The fire pit was very large and easy to cook on with the included cooking grate. Overall we’d come back!

Felt like we were tucked far away from the busy world but only a mile or so off the main road. We appreciated the access to the port a potty ( we had Site 1 and we were just a thirty second walk), the shelter and picnic table and sturdy fire pit with a cooking grate - all nice extra touches of conveniences.
Our little dogs loved running free in the big open space.

We really enjoyed our stay at site #2. Very peaceful, clean, and thoughtful set up. We would highly recommend this site to anyone! We were able to bring our dog and 3 kids with no issues.

This location was perfect for myself and two young kids. We loved how quiet it was and the sleeping platform made it so easy to set up and clean up. Having firewood available was amazing (note you can pay for firewood with Venmo, you don’t need cash) and the fire pit was great. The site was clean, portable toilet was very clean and not over used. We loved this site and couldn’t be happier with our stay. Tip: Bald Top Brewing was less than 10 minutes away with excellent food, drinks and atmosphere and was perfect for the kids to run around.

We had a great time at Two Rivers. Access was easy and the property was beautiful and well-kept. The on-campsite firewood saved us some time. Accessible to Shenandoah National Park trailheads (at the bottom) and local food and beer. The river was flowing and pleasant. We booked as an alternative to sold-out SNP campgrounds but next time I’d pick two rivers over the skyline drive spots.
One note—rte 29 is not super close but close enough that we could hear it in the evening/morning. Didn’t bother us but something to know if you’re looking for a more remote spot.

OMG LOVED ITTT!!! one of the best spots we’ve stayed at. we loved the privacy of the lot (site 1.) we had neighbors and barely even knew they were there. there is more than enough distance between both sites. we saw some wild turkeys as soon as we got there and a lovely family of deer roaming around all weekend. it’s a very quite area, and it felt like we were secluded. the fire pit is awesome for cooking, and the balcony was awesome to put the tent on and get off the ground. We loved our stay so much we couldn’t stop talking about how great the spot was as soon we set up! we will definitely be coming back! thanks for the stay !

Absolute gorgeous property! We only wish we could explore the river and property more, but there were no trails at all and lots of tall grass that made it impossible to explore.

We absolutely LOVED staying at this little tent site! We stayed at site 1, which in our opinion is the “better” site. It has more shade, it’s closer to the porta potty, and has a lovely view of the river! Very relaxing environment!
Definitely bring extra lights/lanterns, when it gets dark, it gets dark.

Campsite is in great location. Right above a little creek and outlooking a large meadow. It has picnic table, firepit and campstand. You can drive your car right up to the site. So peaceful and secluded. Water is nice as well - caught plenty of fish! Also there is a nice country store and brewery within driving distance. Would recommend!

Kari’s Hipcamp was the perfect and great hideaway getaway. The weather was perfect and the stars were so bright. Covered firewood allowed us to enjoy a nice dinner on the fire and also to warm up since this August weather was unseasonably cool. Deer and feathered friends were the entertainment while we unlocked from social media. The trickling river was so nice to fall asleep to! Will visit again sometime soon!

My husband and his friend had a great time camping here! My husband is many years out of camping practice, but the site set up makes everything easy. Practically everything they could have needed was readily available. Particular highlights include the firewood, portapotty, and tent stand (for easy hammock install and tent set up!)
