Welcome to Two Rivers, a picturesque haven nestled in the heart of Madison, Virginia. Our property offers a unique and immersive camping experience that combines the charm of the great outdoors with modern comforts. Here, you'll discover the perfect getaway for nature enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers. At Two Rivers, we provide two carefully designed camping sites, each featuring deck structures with roofs. (Camping essentials such as tents, sleeping pads...etc. are not provided) There is plenty of room to camp traditionally on the ground if desired. These sites offer a blend of comfort and ruggedness, allowing you to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors without sacrificing the convenience of shelter. What's more, these structures are equipped with solar lights, ensuring your evenings are well-lit and cozy. You'll also find hooks for hammocks, inviting you to relax and sway with the gentle breezes, suspended amidst the natural beauty that surrounds you. We do not allow parties or additional guests on site under any circumstance. You will be asked to leave the property immediately and will be charged an additional fine. We provide on-site firewood for purchase (cash or Venmo), ensuring that you can enjoy the warmth and ambiance of a campfire throughout your stay. It's the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the natural wonders of Two Rivers. Two Rivers takes its name from the two exquisite waterways that define our landscape. The Robinson River flows gracefully through the property, and it connects to the White Oak Run. The confluence of these two rivers creates a serene and enchanting atmosphere that you can explore and enjoy. In the state of Virginia, a fishing license is required on all rivers. We recommend walking up stream or down stream if you plan to fish, as the water is often only 2-3' deep near the camp sites. Abundance of Wildlife: Nature enthusiasts will be delighted to discover the diverse and abundant wildlife that calls Two Rivers home. Birdwatching, nature photography, and simply observing the local fauna are all favorite pastimes here. Please note that hunting is not allowed on the property by guests, ensuring a safe and protected environment for the animals that grace us with their presence. **Kayak season is in the spring - the water depth average should at least be 2.75’ before attempting a trip. Otherwise you will drag. During summer droughts, the river will be shallow near the camp sites.

Two Rivers Site #1

100% (51)
Tent site · Sleeps 6
Nestled along the Robinson River at Two Rivers in Madison, VA, our campsite offers serene riverside bliss. It's a quick walk from the parking lot, providing easy access. With the river nearby, you can enjoy water activities and the beauty of the flowing waters right from your campsite. Locally you can enjoy ample hiking, historic attractions and wineries/breweries. Site 1 is closer to the parking lot and porta potty. The ground, outside of the structure, has more dirt than grass and remains relatively shady. This site is not suitable for an RV.

Two Rivers Site #2

100% (22)
Tent site · Sleeps 6
Site 2 requires a bit of a longer walk to the camp site (less than 2 minutes) as it is located roughly one football field from site 1. See the map for details. The ground is flat and only drivable during dry weather as the road does not continue down to site #2. This site is not suitable for RVs. This site has a better view in our opinion and feels more private. The view of the neighbors field can be enjoyed from this site where you will often spot wildlife. Site 2 is grassier than Site 1, but we bush-hog the area frequently. This site requires a longer walk from the shared porta potty located in the parking lot. The bank is steeper and more natural on this side, guests can always walk towards Site 1 for less steep river access.
