Moose Mountain Getaway is located near multiple White Mountain local hiking trails, river access, golf, and ski resorts. Camp in a tent, small camper van, or small pop-up camper. Just a short 5-minute drive down the road will give you access to the Pemigewasset River. Bring a kayak or tube and float down the river on a warm sunny day. Waterville Valley Ski Resort is located 20 minutes down the road. Other ski options close by are Loon Mountain Resort, Bretton Woods, Cannon Mountain Ski Resort, Attitash Mountain Resort, and many more. Owl's Nest Resort is located just on the other side of the highway. Spend the day on the golf course or playing tennis/pickleball on their platform tennis courts. 2 nights at Vermont Rustic Retreat

The view is beautiful! We were lucky to have arrived after a few inches of snow had fallen and it stayed on the trees the whole time we were there-it was absolutely gorgeous! We saw deer cross the road, heard owls and coyotes. Trails at the end of the road. As it states the cabin is small but Kathleen made excellent use of the space and 2 adults in there was just fine. Very cozy, more than enough wood to keep the woodstove going and have campfires. Everything you need is already provided. Was cloudy when we were there but on a clear night it would be a fantastic place to stargaze. Kathleen was a wonderful hostess. Very accommodating, very responsive and just a sweetheart all around.

My friend and I had such a lovely time! Our host Ryan was beyond helpful and kind to make sure our stay went well. The site was well maintained and easy to find. We also had a great open sky to stargaze and fresh snow in the morning which made our experience so much more fun. This was my first Hipcamp experience and it was a wonderful first impression!

Best site I've ever stayed at! Good amount of space between sites but still an easy walk to the kitchen+water, outhouses were clean and convenient with an excellent sense of interior decoration! We stayed at Birch Grove on a particularly cold, rainy, and windy Halloween weekend and Nick already had a large tarp set up over the easiest tent spot.... plus a cow skull and a few candles for the ambiance. Excellent vibes 👌

Incredible site with multiple pitches spread out around the land. We were lucky enough to be put on the beat site...on site 7 (despite booking the field site). What a view and great facilities. Fit pit with grill for cooking whilst watching the stars and white mountains. Camp cooking kitchen and shower near the main house. Fire wood for sale. Compost toilet at each site. The only problem was we wished we could have stayed longer! Look out for the friendly moose and check out the little boat on the pond. Fab site 10/10.

Site #6 was on the other side of the field from where we stayed at site seven, but was just as charming!

Weekend Trip to Vermont Rustic Retreat

We loved staying at Kathleen’s place! The cabin is very private, feels completely safe, and the view is fantastic. Everything was very clean and nicely organized, and the minute you arrive you have everything you need. Even though the weather was cold, we stayed cozy and warm thanks to the wood stove, which was surprisingly efficient. The kindling and firewood were fully stocked as well, making the stay easy and comfortable. A wonderful experience overall! Thank you:)

We stayed in the yurt for a weekend and loved it! Bed was comfy and thought the woodstove wasn't working, the space heater kept us cozy. I loved camping here! The leaves were gorgeous in the morning. There was some road noise but it was nothing too crazy and I would still highly recommend this spot! Weekend Trip to Smugglers Notch RV Village

Perfect location if you plan on visiting surrounding cities, like Stowe. Camp site was well taken care of. The owner is extremely knowledgeable about the area and gave several recommendations for activities and dining ahead of the visit for planning. All around really nice dude! Multiple showers/flushable toilets available. Dog friendly. Many guests but was very quiet, which was great. Bathroom could be a bit cleaner/welcoming...but it is camping and I'm always grateful just to have access to utilities. Over all, nice stay.
