We had such a lovely stay here! The host was incredibly responsive to all our questions, and the cabin was exactly what we were looking for. It came with a portable heater inside that kept us warm at night (just remember to turn on the gas outside first!). Without proper winter clothing, it might be a bit chilly to stay here during the colder months, but we went toward the end of October and it was still perfect! And the hot tub!! Such a clever and wonderful addition! Just a heads up: you’ll need to build a strong fire to get it hot within about 3 hours, and you’ll likely want to make two fires - one for the tub and another to sit back and enjoy. Be sure to bring lanterns, as it gets dark pretty quickly once the sun sets. Even though we had cloudy skies, we could tell that on a clear night the stargazing would be incredible. The cabin is well-equipped with dishes and running water for light cooking, brushing teeth, etc. There’s also a small convenience store about 8 minutes away on the main road. Overall, we would highly recommend this place. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be returning!

We stayed for three nights and even in the chillier weather on late October nights, the easy set up made everything a real breeze. Betsy was wonderful! We got a little lost getting there and it was getting dark, but she came right over to our campsite when we arrived to welcome us and deliver the wood we bought. I highly recommend buying some wood because she even brings kindling, newspaper & a fire starter in order to make a lovely campfire under the stars! I highly recommend Betsey’s place!
