The property is in Cumberland County, TN, is mostly wooded, and the Caney Fork River is on the property. River access is available with a short/moderate hike. The location is outside of the nearest town by about 20 minutes. A dollar general and gas station are about a 10 minute drive.
Suggestions:
1. Bug spray may be helpful.
2. Bring extra firewood if you plan to cook over the fire. There is plenty of pine if you would like to gather it yourself but very little hardwood downed. I will provide a few starter logs.
3. Bring water if you are opposed to drinking well water. There is an outdoor faucet close to the campsites for well water.
This is a bring in, take out experience...trash, towels, sanitary waste, etc. There is an additional $10 charge for leaving litter- this includes cigarettes.

I would definitely recommend this place. It's private. Karen will host you and make you feel this place like home! I felt supported at all times... It's was wonderful! We were a group of 4 (2 children-2 adults). The creek makes a wonderful tool, especially if you go with children to keep them distracted. Night is very dark; bring yourself some power bank that would help you during the night hours.

Jill was such a lovely host and took the time to greet me and show me around her gorgeous property making me very welcome. I slept peacefully in my hammock and took a hike to the river located at the base of the property.

If you like privacy and nature, this is a good choice. The hosts are helpful and responsive. For an additional fee you can have access to an impressive bathhouse with a composting toilet, sink and shower (I did not try the shower).

So peaceful!
We were in the area to visit the waterfalls and this was the perfect home base! Everything we wanted to see was generally within a 30-45 minute drive. Coming back each evening to watch the fireflies come out over the pasture and later the amazing view of stars was a perfect ending to our days.
Super clean, private, full hookups, giant yard for the dog to have the time of his life, easy access for our 40 ft Class A. Definitely recommend!!

It's a lovely spot and you get some privacy. There's a busy rode nearby (and mowing cows), but it's quite enough at night. The stream is lovely. Be warned that the toilet is a portable camp toilet--basically a stool with a hole in it, with a disposable bag to collect the waste.

This was the perfect space for us to camp with our dogs. We had ample room, and Karen did a great job providing the necessities for the space. Sleeping by the creek was very relaxing. It was secluded enough to feel private, but close enough to town and Cummins Falls State park for us to get out and explore. We will definitely be coming back.
