Located adjacent to Fall Creek Falls State Park the Crown Jewel of the Tennessee State Park. We offer 15 primitive camping sites. We have one-of-a-kind rock tables for picnicking. My Papa "Red Wolf" seen a vision for a wooded land. He then built the Trading Post followed by the campground. Family owned and operated for over 20 years, enrolled with the Northeastern Alabama Cherokee Tribe. Things to do around the area, Fall Creek Falls State Park. Fall Creek Falls, at 256 feet, is one of the highest waterfalls east of the Rockies. While at the park enjoy the cascades, gorges, waterfalls, hiking, fishing, golf, boating rental, bicycling, picnic, playgrounds, basketball court, softball field, snack bars and enjoy the nature. We are less than 1 hour away from Rock Island State Park and Cumberland Mountain State Park. Located in Van Buren County, within a 30-minute drive. The Fall Creek Mennonite community has a variety of small businesses (seasonal produce, garden center, greenhouse, fabric, metal shop, warehouse and general store) in their community. Also, on the way to Fall Creek Mennonite community is Fall Creek Falls Riding Stables. They provide a guided horseback tour through the woods. It normally takes an hour. Spencer is a small town, with 2 convenience store, 1 Save-A-Lot, Family Dollar, Dollar General, a café open Tuesday-Friday (times vary) and subway.

The campground was clean and well-kept; fire area and table were very helpful for beginners. The area was such a wonderful experience for a first time camper! I would recommend this place for anyone who wants the full camp experience but with amenities. It is close to many popular falls such as Cummins Fall State Park and a convenience store down the windy road! The location is so pretty! Owner/host was responsive and accommodating, satisfactorily.

I was so pleased with my stay at this site! Tabitha was very responsive, and the campground was very clean and quiet. The little shelter at site 1 was so lovely, and was only about a 30 foot walk from a very clean porta potty! The rock bench and fire ring added a wonderful touch, and they provide a garbage can and offer to take the trash for you upon your departure. I am absolutely going to come back and stay here again.

Absolutely love this campsite! This is our third time camping at this location. It's always clean and ready to go. Close to the park but super cheap. Will stay again!

Controllable things were all amazing, including: well kept grounds, clear fire pits, clean tables and hygienic toilet. Light sleepers be weary though; the noise from the odd vehicle in the night from the road carries through the site, there were also several dogs barking throughout the night that could be heard a neighbouring property. Didn’t wake me up, but this did keep me up for a bit.

All the controllable things at this site were fantastic; Manicured plots, clear fire pits and clean tables and hygienic toilet. Job well done hosting! Be weary of you’re a light sleeper though, the noise from the area does carry through the site, which included the odd vehicle in the night, as well unusually noisy dogs barking from a neighbouring property. Didn’t wake me up, but it did keep me up for a bit.

We loved our stay at Site 1. We enjoy a bit of privacy from other sites while camping and we were able to have that at Site 1. Also really appreciated the shelter during the rain. And host brought a huge pile of free firewood for us. Very big thank you for that!! We love our fires! Overall, a very nice stay. I would stay at site 1 again, but not the others because they are too close together for us. We did hear noise from the road, but we live in a city so wasn't bothersome for us and at nighttime/late night it’s quiet. For ice/firewood- there is a gas station .5 miles away, but I recommend the general store in fall creek falls state park. Bigger wood bundles at a good price. And general store is stocked with tons of forgotten/needed items (gas station selection was limited).

Very convenient tent camping spot just outside of Fall Creek Falls State Park, South entrance. The site was very shaded, clean, had a cool rock table, a fire ring and a port-a-potty nearby. Site 5 was slightly sloped but still level enough for a medium sized tent. I booked last minute and was greatful to find an open spot. Good value, thanks.

Had the most amazing time at fall creek falls indian campground. We stayed at campsite 1 and it was very peaceful and well maintained. Easy to find and just outside of fall creek falls state park. Tabitha was very helpful and a great host. I will definitely be camping there again.

Hidden Gem at Fall Creek Falls

A spot we will be visiting again soon! The sites are small and close together. We stayed at Site 1- it's the biggest site, the only site with a shelter, and is closest to the porta potty. Great firepits, clean porta potty, and trash cans are provided. Closest possible campsite outside of Fall Creek Falls. Only complaint is that it's close enough to the road to hear two-lane traffic into the park, but not much traffic came through. Our two dogs, my husband, and I loved our stay.

I couldn't recommend Tabitha's campsite more! You are close to the road, but we honestly had no issues with that. Tabitha was very accommodating and hospitable! This was our first time camping, and we're already planning our next trip back ☺️ porta potty was clean and the stone table and fire pit we're extremely helpful! THANK YOU Tabitha again!!

This place is a gem. Owned by hard working Americans that take freedom seriously. We loved the vibe here. It was clean, spacious, quiet and welcoming. No trash was found. Porta potty looked like something from the show room floor and I own a cleaning business so dont take that a shower a grain of salt. We are adventurous and enjoyed talking with the owners while looking through their trading post. We planted some wild flowers under the trees around site one from the take a pack sign under the trees. Maybe one day someone will see them growing in all their glory and now three girls had there best life there for two days. Ranger allowed us to shower at the campsite e bathhouse although this camp isn't inside the park. That was kind. Give them your money and leave no trace! Thank you guys!!!

A beautiful and calm place to spend the night. We loved the stone tables and fire pits. Very quiet, and also the cleanest porta-potty I’ve ever used! Literally the last driveway before entering Fall Creek Falls State Park - as close as you can get. Highly recommended!

Loved camping at the trading post, I was road tripping and accidentally skipped a stop and came to fall creek falls a day early, the gentleman at the post was so kind and suggested checking out the spots here. I booked immediately. The sites (and porta potty) were clean. He even brought up firewood (which really was such a blessing as i was quite exhausted) and was great to chat with. Id absolutely come back. I ended up having the entire property to myself with my pups which made it all even more magical. Definitely a must stop!

Site 1 was great because it was away from the road and semi secluded away from other sites. I loved the wooden structure for shade and protection from rain. Having a portable potty on site and water from the hose at the Trading post was very convenient too! Being so close to the park was awesome! The man at the Trading Post was very nice and friendly and loaded firewood into the back of my car for me! The only downside to the campground is how close the sites are to each other.

I love the campsite it was honestly pretty peaceful it did rain and the storm was supposed to get pretty bad so we had left early but 10 out of 10 recommend it’s absolutely beautiful out there. The porta potties are very clean just so cozy. And Tabitha is so sweet and respectful and welcoming this is the best place I have stayed at in a while loved my time here will be coming back ♥️

So Close to Fall Creek Falls

Finding the campsite was easy with Tabitha’s directions. It poured down raining the entire weekend and we were the only ones around so it was a great time. We used the covered shed on the property to dry some things out. The porta potty was clean-clean. I was not expecting that at all. It was perfect for our weekend at FCF State Park.
