Currahee is right on the river and is set up to host live bands and it gets pretty lively in the late afternoons and evenings on the weekends. Other things to note One of the things you would want to bring is a 1 lb propane bottle for the Torch that is provided. Using the torch to start a fire is much easier than kindling. The solar generator has enough power to run the small coffee pot if you don't want to use the percolator. The generator also has enough power to run hair dryers. The main thing you want to keep in mind is anything that uses a heating element will drain the battery quickly. Lanterns are provided If needed. Overall, you should be good to go, but it is something to keep in mind.

Loved the stay here, the view was awesome and it was quiet. My dog loved running around. Firewood was enough to last two full days and there’s were three spots, one closeksh to the house, one midway, and one at the top of the hill near the outhouse. The drive in was easy and stores are within a 10-15 minute drive and no traffic!

The camps are well spaced and the toilets were very clean as well as the shelter over them. The ground was well maintained and not over grown. Brian has created something so incredibly special here! We stayed at Diamondstone and he has added many special touches- the electric candles, little propane stove, wooden benches and handrails.... He is also INCREDIBLY responsive! We could not figure out how to work the padlock to get into the cabin (note: the numbers must be lined up in the GREEN section of the lock) but he answered right away even though it was 10pm (second note: there is no cell service there so you have to go a ways to find it). The cabin is not insulated and the stove does not put out much heat, so if you're coming in winter make sure you have good cold weather gear. My son set up his tent outside and as we both brought winter gear we had an wonderful, peaceful time reconnecting with nature and each other. Thank you Brian for being a wonderful host and creating such a special place.

I cannot recommend this campsite enough. The sound of the creek flowing right beside the site was beautiful and made the entire stay feel calm and peaceful. The campsite itself was spacious, giving my dogs plenty of room to roam off leash while still letting me keep a close eye on them. I also loved having the island trail just a few steps away for easy exploring. It was everything I needed for a simple, stress-free camping trip that still felt secluded and quiet. Perfect in every way. I hope to visit again soon!

We had an amazing stay on Andrew’s land. Andrew was super helpful and helped get set up and checked in on occasion to make sure everything was going smoothly as well as give recommendations for the surrounding area. The site itself was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. 10/10 would recommend
