Please read the site descriptions carefully to match your style of camping with the appropriate campsite. BBA guests frequently camp with a tent, vehicle, smaller camper, hammock tent, roof top tent, pop-up camper and similar styles. Most photos in this listing are taken onsite. Please keep in mind this is primitive and wild Tennessee landscape that may also contain poisonous plants and wildlife in or around camp.
Access to fresh water fun is a short down-hill hike for all guests, with the exception of our hike-in campsites which are positioned alongside the river. Each spot has been strategically selected to provide as much privacy as possible, and comfortably accommodates groups with two vehicles. We provide a rock fire pit and heavy-duty, cast-iron grill grate. You provide everything else, including drinking water and personal toilet waste bags if you plan to use our system. The hike-in sites come with extra seating. Every guest must be included on your reservation, and adult guests may be required to provide identification. Thank you!
COMMUNITY COMFORT STATION: There is a comfort station with an outdoor shower stall for hanging your own solar shower bag. The comfort station also includes a changing room which doubles as a private place to use your portable camping toilet. A toilet seat and bucket system is provided but guests will need to use their own waste disposal bags, available at most camping supply stores. The backside of the comfort station has a rain barrel (not potable) collection system for extinguishing fires.
OFF-ROAD CONDITIONS: Due to the primitive nature of our location, all reservations should expect hilly terrain and potential bumpy or some muddy road access, especially after heavy rain. We ask all guests to help us minimize impacts by driving with care. Vehicles with low ground clearance or low-profile tires are no longer permitted to use the off-road drive and must park at the entrance. If you want a campsite with the shortest walk from the entrance parking area, you will want to select campsite 5, 9 or 6. When the road is open during unusually wet periods, we recommend AWD or 4WD as a precaution. We are continuously working on improvements for our off-road drive.
Belle and Beau Acres is a farm homestead with a personal campground, conveniently located less than five minutes from I40. Expect nothing short of 360 degree views of relaxing nature, privacy, and spontaneous adventure when recreating at this agritourism location. Central to the most beautiful middle Tennessee destinations, BBA is the perfect home base for hiking, biking, kayaking, and fishing excursions to at least 10 nearby state parks and lakes. Conveniently located on the Eastern Highland Rim between Nashville, Knoxville and Chattanooga in the lower Appalachian mountains, this area sits at the Upper Cumberland Plateau and is part of Tennessee's largest micropolitan area of Cookeville. Nearly 3 miles of hiking trails to enjoy during your visit. Take a spur trail off the main trail loop and there is a prayer shelter with a fire pit inspired by Luke 6:12 in the back corner of the property. Located at the edge of the prairie on the main trail is a sunrise/sunset/bird-watching platform that is 20 feet in the air with a 2 stage bridge to access it. We updated the outdoor kitchen with a 3 burner propane stove, Blackstone grill and hot running water with a 3 bay sink. Other cooking options include a tripod over the fire and a charcoal grill.
A short 10-minute drive to fire tower rd. brings you to a 2 mile loop trail with 2 waterfalls, Upper and Lower Piney Falls. Ozone falls is just a 20 minute drive. Then toward Spring City is Stinging Fork Falls at 25 minutes. Black mountain is my new favorite place especially the south overlook! The Hiking possibilities are nearly endless and close. I'll highlight one thru hike here since both trailheads are only 20 minutes away and is easy to coordinate with only 2 vehicles. It's a 10.2 mile hike that can be done in either direction and has a little something for everyone including a cave, boulder field, cascade and waterfall. Then you have massive Watts Bar Lake which is only 20 minutes away with a plethora of activities including the excursions we offer!

Deer, turkey, turtles, frogs, and cardinals have all been seen on the property. Before you exit your tent in the morning, stay quiet and look out first - who knows what you might see. Watts Bar Lake is within a few hundred yards and a public boat ramp is just about 3 minutes down the road. Watts Bar is over 72 miles long, 722 miles of shoreline, and is known for good fishing, kayaking, birdwatching, and other recreation.
This is a good base for day trips to Knoxville, Chattanooga, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Smoky Mountain National Park.
Note: Bring your own tent/supplies, or options include tent and/or propane tank rental. Pack out your own food, animal, and human waste. As this is private property, it is still the woods of Tennessee, so expect all that goes along with that. A little bit out in the country, but really nice place. The three RV sites are side by side but each has its own bench and firepit.
Easy to find with hosts directions, but a bit challenging to navigate backing in after dark. In the morning we saw that we probably could have turned around in the field instead of backing in.
Sorry it was just an overnight stay for us, but we did really enjoy the firefly show in the trees and hedges around our site.

We camped here over the weekend and loved it! We were on a lakefront spot and it was so peaceful. The pool was great and the campground had loads of fun things for the kids to do including rock painting and a scavenger hunt

Beautiful scenery. Our trailer fit easily. The grounds were pristine. Can’t wait to visit again in the Spring. This would be a beautiful spot to take littles too. Beach access to the water and they even have a pool.

This was a last minute booking for us and it was great! The host was very quick to respond with our questions. The campground was very clean and quiet. All of the hiking trails were so beautiful which was a total added bonus. Would definitely stop again if we find ourselves in this part of TN.

The staff is great very helpful and the camp showers were as clean and nice as a 5 star hotel I have been to a lot of campgrounds and the cleanest showers can't even compare to this place would definitely recommend this place very peaceful will definitely be back didn't want to leave

We enjoyed our short stay at Spacious Skies Belle Ridge! The sites were perfectly maintained and the hiking trails led to beautiful views. We would definitely stay again .

It was a nice, clean campground, but definitely geared toward rigs with their own toilets. The wash house was quite a ways away from the sites, which was not very convenient on a very rainy night.

45 ft fifth wheel
We have been full time RVers for 3 plus years and have been all over most of the US. This has been one of our favorite places to stay to date. Amazing staff, thoughtfully laid out property, new laundry room, clean, and quiet. Our pups loved the dog park! Can’t wait to come back to see the next stage of expansion. Thanks for the lovely hospitality!
