Please read the site descriptions carefully to match your style of camping with the appropriate campsite. BBA guests frequently camp with a tent, vehicle, smaller camper, hammock tent, roof top tent, pop-up camper and similar styles. Most photos in this listing are taken onsite. Please keep in mind this is primitive and wild Tennessee landscape that may also contain poisonous plants and wildlife in or around camp.
Access to fresh water fun is a short down-hill hike for all guests, with the exception of our hike-in campsites which are positioned alongside the river. Each spot has been strategically selected to provide as much privacy as possible, and comfortably accommodates groups with two vehicles. We provide a rock fire pit and heavy-duty, cast-iron grill grate. You provide everything else, including drinking water and personal toilet waste bags if you plan to use our system. The hike-in sites come with extra seating. Every guest must be included on your reservation, and adult guests may be required to provide identification. Thank you!
COMMUNITY COMFORT STATION: There is a comfort station with an outdoor shower stall for hanging your own solar shower bag. The comfort station also includes a changing room which doubles as a private place to use your portable camping toilet. A toilet seat and bucket system is provided but guests will need to use their own waste disposal bags, available at most camping supply stores. The backside of the comfort station has a rain barrel (not potable) collection system for extinguishing fires.
OFF-ROAD CONDITIONS: Due to the primitive nature of our location, all reservations should expect hilly terrain and potential bumpy or some muddy road access, especially after heavy rain. We ask all guests to help us minimize impacts by driving with care. Vehicles with low ground clearance or low-profile tires are no longer permitted to use the off-road drive and must park at the entrance. If you want a campsite with the shortest walk from the entrance parking area, you will want to select campsite 5, 9 or 6. When the road is open during unusually wet periods, we recommend AWD or 4WD as a precaution. We are continuously working on improvements for our off-road drive.
Belle and Beau Acres is a farm homestead with a personal campground, conveniently located less than five minutes from I40. Expect nothing short of 360 degree views of relaxing nature, privacy, and spontaneous adventure when recreating at this agritourism location. Central to the most beautiful middle Tennessee destinations, BBA is the perfect home base for hiking, biking, kayaking, and fishing excursions to at least 10 nearby state parks and lakes. You'll be surprised at how cool the tents stay under the forest canopy in the heat of summer. Then in the colder months we have various heating options to keep you cozy in 3 of the dwellings I hope you come to share this with us, it's an amazingly peaceful area.
Nearly 3 miles of hiking trails to enjoy during your visit. Take a spur trail off the main trail loop and there is a prayer shelter with a fire pit inspired by Luke 6:12 in the back corner of the property. Located at the edge of the prarie on the main trail is a sunrise/sunset/bird-watching platform that is 20 feet in the air with a 2 stage bridge to access it. We updated the outdoor kitchen with a 3 burner propane stove, propane grill and hot running water with a 3 bay sink. Other cooking options include a tripod over the fire and a charcoal grill.
A short 10-minute drive to fire tower rd. brings you to a 2 mile loop trail with 2 waterfalls, Upper and Lower Piney Falls. Ozone falls is just a 20 minute drive. Then toward Spring City is Stinging Fork Falls at 25 minutes. Black mountain is my new favorite place especially the south overlook! The Hiking possibilities are nearly endless and close. I'll highlight one thru hike here since both trailheads are only 20 minutes away and is easy to coordinate with only 2 vehicles. It's a 10.2 mile hike that can be done in either direction and has a little something for everyone including a cave, boulder field, cascade and waterfall. Then you have massive Watts Bar Lake which is only 20 minutes away with a plethora of activities including the excursions we offer!

Watts Bar Lake is within a few hundred yards and a public boat ramp is just about 3 minutes down the road. Watts Bar is over 72 miles long, 722 miles of shoreline, and is known for good fishing, kayaking, birdwatching, and other recreation.
This is a good base for day trips to Knoxville, Chattanooga, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Smoky Mountain National Park.
Note: Bring your own tent/supplies, or options include tent and/or propane tank rental. Pack out your own food, animal, and human waste. As this is private property, it is still the woods of Tennessee, so expect all that goes along with that. Relaxation, foraging, stargazing, lounging, and hiking! The property is in Cumberland County, TN, is mostly wooded, and the Caney Fork River is accessible by about a 1/2-mile hike (round-trip) on the property. The land is a welcoming place and can offer an amazing experience for relaxing, lounging, hiking, etc. There are two waterfalls on the property which are most magnificent just after a rainfall- one is a fairly easy hike and the other is a bit more of a challenge which will take you down a sloped path and down the river's edge. The total hike is only about 250 feet but is sloped at about 26°. Considering the short distance paired with the terrain, I would classify the walk to the larger waterfall as moderate. A short walk from all sites, is a large open area that is perfect for stargazing. The space will eventually be an orchard but currently has only 1 apple tree- so, there is plenty of room for lounge chairs or a blanket :)
Local Secret: There is an interesting waterfall about 3 miles away- Jeep crawl friendly- local graffiti, beautiful and accessible for walking across in the water, and great for pictures. I'm happy to provide the location- just let me know in the booking details.
Sparta, TN is just 30 minutes away and is a small town full of interesting shops, restaurants, and of course, waterfalls! https://www.spartatn.gov/
Additional info: Pets are welcome as long as they remain on leash. The location is outside of the nearest town by about 25 minutes. A Dollar General and gas station are about a 10-minute drive.
Suggestions:
1. Bug spray may be helpful- especially during the warmer months. No pesticides are used on the property because we forage edibles and medicinal herbs. Pro Tip: Wondercide is a great choice for a pet friendly bug spray and comes in lots of scents.
2. Bring firewood if you plan to cook over the fire.
3. Bring water if you are opposed to drinking well water. There is an outdoor faucet close to the campsites for well water.
This is a bring in, take out experience...trash, towels, sanitary waste, etc. There is an additional $10 charge for leaving litter- this includes cigarettes.

The hostess was/is super nice and accommodating. We enjoyed hiking down to the river and listening to the water's song. The mint sprigs were a very cute touch 💖

We enjoyed our stay here! Very close to Virgin falls and wilderness area. Has service (Cricket and Tmobile). Such a cute place with little signs. Pull off was just big enough for our SUV. Just note that the tent pad is cement like (very hard) so can't use tent stakes. We set up in the grass near firepit due to this and it worked fine. Would stay here again for sure!

Great secluded boondocking experience! Plenty of outdoor activities to do locally. This was a great weekend getaway with no kids. Site 3 was perfect for us as a couple. Sites on the creek (I think 4 and 7) look great for bringing the kids! Plan to return some day!

Christine’s land is so special. I had a great experience and I left so restored- exactly what I needed. I hope to suit up with lighter gear and camp but the river sometime in the future. Spending my afternoon there was truly so peaceful, but I loved my site (no. 6) and its blanket of green trees and incredible birdsong and butterflies. Truly can’t wait to visit again! We absolutely love this site!! It is so quiet and secluded. Melissa has great communication and the site has everything you could need! We booked for the whole family to come because we know there is plenty of room, but it just ended up being my husband and me. This site always makes my heart feel at peace and you cannot beat the views! The hammocks weren’t there, but our chairs and the chairs provided worked out just fine! High recommend going here for a small group or a whole family! Close to hiking and breathtaking waterfalls, but is also a great place to just hang out by the fire and read.

We had such an amazing stay and can’t recommend this place enough. The property is absolutely beautiful, but the highlight was definitely the river. It’s even more stunning in person. The peaceful sound of the water and the surrounding scenery made it the perfect spot to relax and unwind.
Everything felt well cared for, and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into creating such a special space. It was the perfect setting for our group camping trip, and we made some great memories here.
We’d 100% come back again. Thank you for sharing such a gorgeous spot with us!

Cute and private place. Easy to find. Loved the map they provided! With T-mobile, I had 5g everywhere on the property. Host was very nice and provided us change for the firewood we bought. We stayed in site 3 with our two dogs and our tree frog friend, and though we had neighbors, at the next site, they were far away. The site was clean, cared for, and opens into the star-gazing field, with a short walk to the comfort area.
The waterfall hike is steep but short, and there was beautiful spring flowers growing everywhere, including lots of trillium! Beautiful!
Springtime in Tennessee is sure to bring ticks, and this was no exception! After our hike, we found 2 on us, so make sure to bring spray and check yourselves and clothes/bedding well! This is not a complaint, it is an inevitable issue to be aware of!

Tent camped here and it was a solid time. Christine was very helpful and finding the site was no issue at all. The place was very quiet with only a faint hint of distant cars, and the place was overall peaceful with some nice small trails to walk and the star gazing field was cool too. Overall a very peaceful and enjoyable experience.

Close to fall creek falls. We did a day hike there and camped here overnight. Verry clean. Firewood available. The bath house is the nicest cleanest i've ever seen. Cats around the stables are friendly. We had 3 dogs with us and they seemed to stay away from the campground area. THERE IS A CAMEL. We got to walk through the stables and say hello to the horses. We didnt go on a ride since we had the dogs but the people seemed friendly when we did speak with them.

Nice little spot by a creek. My son loved it and two farm dogs and a German shepherd stayed with us the entire time. It was peaceful for the most part. There's a state highway really close and another road extremely close and that should probably be made more prominent in the description. Traffic was loud at times and we weren't expecting that. Gil was nice and gave us some eggs which were delicious! We enjoyed it.

Christine was a great host. She was very accommodating for a last minute booking, and was very helpful and communicative throughout the process. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. We had the place all to ourselves, so we roamed around to all the campsites. You can’t go wrong with any of them. I would definitely recommend Belle and Beau’s for a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of life.

The facility was super nice! There are trails on the property and a prayer shack if that’s something you’d like to use. Showers and spigot are located at the office, so it’s a bit of a walk or short drive to those. if you’re looking for somewhere to get out into nature with no one around, it’s the perfect place to go! we would come back!
