There are two potential areas to set up camp, some permanent chairs, a picnic table, the fire pit with some tools for it, a clean outhouse with clear directions inside, thoughtful area/arrangements that look like it would be a little fairy garden for children or something fun like that near one of the buildings. There is a large locked shed. We found the two trails and where they sort of can connect to the bike trails, which was fun. We were able to gather some extra fallen wood to burn from the woods. Very little noise is heard from the road and it is quiet and a lovely place! My group was very happy to howl at the moon here and would love to come back.

We were there for a disc golf tournament... the course is amazing!
Beginners might be intimidated by it, however. It would be one of my favorites, if it wasn't 3 hours away.

Josie’s was awesome! Came up for a fall weekend and had no trouble finding this beautiful property. When we pulled in we weren’t sure where in the field to set up and I typed a quick message to the owner. Within a minute he’d pulled up to help us out. Super nice people, they’d set up a great fire pit toward the back of the field, fresh water was there for us, firewood etc. The field sits in a valley with the mountains surrounding and views were incredible. Woke up to geese flying overhead and even a paraglider. Very close proximity to a fantastic farmers market (2 min), Brevard (10 minutes) DuPont and Pisgah. We will be back.

Josie’s Field is a quiet and rural camping location next to a stream course with DuPont State Forest and Pisgah Ranger District within a few minutes of the property. You can enjoy the solitude and open space the property offers and go for a swim in the creek. The hosts were very welcoming.

We had the entire area to ourselves making it super private and allowed us to let our dogs run free. Easy walk to the brewery where we had dinner and drinks. Very friendly staff who welcomed our dogs in the brewery. Live music later in the night. Electric hook up was available if needed

This is the spot! I hate to even recommend it because it'll get too popular. Easy getaway from Greenville but you feel like you're miles away. It has all the camping amenities needed (tables, chairs, fire pit, outhouse, flat space for tents or car camping) and is well maintained. Great view of Paris Mountain. Some noise at night from cars and neighboring dogs so bring ear plugs if you're sensitive to those. We're already planning our next trip here. Easy access to mountain biking and hiking trails and Saluda river is nearby too.

I had a great overnight stay. They provided a gallon of spring water which was a nice touch. Next time I’m in the area I’ll definitely stay again. It’s only a 15 minute drive to downtown Greenville.
