This spot has an electric hookup for your camper with a flat gravel pull through or back in pad. We now offer a 50 gallon tank of water at the site. There is 1 picnic table and a fire pit with a grilling top The dirt road is great for walking and bike riding. If you want a place to relax and get back to nature, this is your place!!! We do provide a porta potty that is cleaned out once a week. if you have t mobile or AT&T you will get service. Verizon does not but we do offer a Hotspot as an add on.

We are a working blueberry and flower farm near the town of Tunkhannock, in the Endless Mountains Region of Pennsylvania. We also have nature and some fun recreational opportunities both on property and close by. On our property we have an 18 hole disc golf course (more info can be found on Udisc or Facebook page "Campsite Disc Golf"). The course has all PDGA approved chain baskets with wood chip or grass tee boxes. We are constantly upgrading the course, it gets better every year! We have some beautiful places for walks (or easy hikes) including walking the course even if you don't play disc golf....it makes for some nice clear trails through the woods. There is a 2 1/2 acre pond where you are welcome to kayak, canoe or paddleboard. A 10 acre swamp, a small creek (that does often dry up in the summer....it's beautiful in the spring), and bountiful wildlife. Nearby are many more recreational opportunities. Within driving distances varying from 5 minutes to an hour (most things within 20 minutes) are a river, two creeks, several lakes (all with public boat access, some with swimming), hiking and biking trails, wineries, brewery, restaurants, a movie theater and shopping (grocery stores and the small downtown are less than 10 minutes). We can provide more information and directions for any activities you are interested in. Our private road which leads to the areas available for camping has only one resident who lives past (with access rights to use the road to get to his property) so it is secluded with no traffic. It can be very dark on moonless nights which is fantastic for stargazing. Intrepid winter campers will find the sky is most crisp clear and incredible in the winter....but the summer is still quite spectacular. Blueberry season is all of July and spilling into August (although winding down by then). During that time the Grassy corner site is more out of the way and quieter. The Most Convenient Woods is close but separate, no one except a passing disc golfer can easily look into your site. You will hear activity in the blueberry field during the day. Possibly including a noise maker that makes a periodic boom in the mornings to keep the birds from stealing all the berries (we are looking for quieter bird scaring options for the future). We try to keep that to a minimum especially if campers are present but can't promise silence. The noise maker is turned off as soon as customers are present so it is just a little while in the morning.

Other sites include our lower field and 1 site along side reyburn creek. There is minimal phone service, none at the creek, but our wifi reaches the upper 2 campsites which we will gladly give access. A 2 wheele drive vehicle can make it to all campsites but i would recommend 4 or all wheele drive for the lowersites as the trail can be slick when wet. We are a working farm but, much of our property is not grazed or farmed. You are welcome to explore the entire area while also getting a glimpse of sustainable, pasture-based, farming methods. Please do not enter the animal enclosures or touch any of the electrified fence lines. If you really want to pet a piggie or hold a chicken - just reach out to Ike or Dave and we will gladly arrange this for you. Red House Ranch is also the perfect spot for wildlife enthusiasts and bird watchers. During your stay you may encounter eagles, blue herons, coyotes, turtles, wild turkeys, foxes, the endangered bobolink bird (its unique call sounds a bit like R2D2), deer, great horned owls, and many unique plants. It's not uncommon to hear the coyotes howling at night. In addition to hiking trails with incredible views, there are four ponds on the property easily accessible with mown paths. One is very large with a dock and suitable for swimming, paddling, fishing, or just relaxing but the water. The other three are smaller and are now primarily wildlife habitat. easily accessible with mown paths If you're feeling adventurous, there is a more strenuous hike down into the creek bed where you can find miniature versions of the gorges and waterfalls that our region is known for. We are happy to provide maps and guidance or leave you to your own devices. When skies are clear our area has very little light pollution and excellent star visibility. We had such an amazing time here! My boyfriend, my roommate and her partner, and our dog all came up for the weekend — it was absolutely gorgeous. The site was spacious and private; we couldn’t see anyone else around, which made it feel so peaceful and perfect for a quiet getaway. It did get a bit chilly at night, but that just added to the cozy campfire vibes. Dave and Ike were incredibly hospitable and welcoming — and the fresh eggs were delicious! Would 100% recommend this spot to anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy some beautiful open space.

We really enjoyed our stay. Frank was a great host. Provided awesome food and fishing tips for his pond filled with bass, crappie, catfish, and trout. We had full hook ups with a gorgeous view. We were so lucky with amazing weather and the morning sunrise with nice cup of coffee was so relaxing. Frank had a great fire going that was relaxing. Very peaceful, and quiet place to visit. Look forward to staying again.

Camping on Dlayne & Frank's land was transformative and healing. When I arrived, Frank brought me a seafood platter to die for - just because he is that kind of host. The farm was breathtaking and serene. The pups loved the hiking trails and the pictures don't do it justice. This is a place where one comes to commune with mind, body, and spirit. I could have as much privacy as I possibly wanted, but I also opted to get to know Frank (it's his farm) and he is one of the kindest people I've ever met (and chef extraordinaire)! I now consider him a friend. Camping on the farm was one of the best experiences of my life (I say this in earnest) and I did not want to leave. I also got to meet Honey the pet pig, Nugget the pet turkey, and the other pet farm animals. They were a welcome addition to my camping experience!

If you're looking for a quaint getaway, this is it! It has beautiful views of the mountains and Susquehanna River. It was convenient to have full connections for electricity (30 amp), water, and septic. Also, an added perk was off- leash for dogs, our dog loved the freedom to just roam and play frisbee. We couldn't have picked a better property to unwind, recharge, and enjoy nature's beauty. Specials thanks to the host, Stan.

I wish we had more time there! It was a last minute booking on our way to New York. We couldn’t have found a better spot. Dark night sky, hot tub, quiet, private, beautiful views. We got in late and didn’t have to do anything other than put up our hammocks and go to sleep. You don’t have to think about locking anything up. We were free to roam the property. We loved the tower view of the sunset. We got to see the Milky Way while lying down on the hill. Our son decided to stay on the hill to sleep for the night so he could watch the stars. The host was quick to respond to any questions on the app. As someone with multiple orthopedic issues the hot tub was amazing! My only recommendation is to put some sort of railing to step up onto the deck to use the hot tub. Our whole family agreed that it was the nicest hot tub we had ever used. We don’t come this way often but we will definitely stay here again if we do!

The site was flat with a great view. The few sites on the property are spread out so you don't see each other. We rode gravel bikes during the afternoon, then swam in the pond, then cooked smoked pork chops that they delivered upon our arrival. In the evening we sat around the campfire and watched the stars come out. I'd say more good things about this property but selfishly I don't want it to get so popular we can't book it again!
