Our 10 acer property situated about a 20 minute drive from rickets glen state park has field and wooded camp areas provided with a fire ring. We have 1 site suited for rv parking in our upper field. Other sites include our lower field and 1 site along side reyburn creek. There is minimal phone service, none at the creek, but our wifi reaches the upper 2 campsites which we will gladly give access. A 2 wheele drive vehicle can make it to all campsites but i would recommend 4 or all wheele drive for the lowersites as the trail can be slick when wet. Wood is not currently provided but you can burn any downed or dead lumber. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

We have spent 15 years here curating lovely areas to relax, party at and invite others to call it a home away from home. The camping areas are in the back of the property and are surrounded by woods and secluded from view of the house. There are paths leading to the pond which is a great reading area and fishing spot plus a canoe and paddleboat to enjoy. Last summer (2022) we added a tipi to the camping area. We are a working blueberry and flower farm near the town of Tunkhannock, in the Endless Mountains Region of Pennsylvania. We also have nature and some fun recreational opportunities both on property and close by. On our property we have an 18 hole disc golf course (more info can be found on Udisc or Facebook page "Campsite Disc Golf"). The course has all PDGA approved chain baskets with wood chip or grass tee boxes. We are constantly upgrading the course, it gets better every year! We have some beautiful places for walks (or easy hikes) including walking the course even if you don't play disc golf....it makes for some nice clear trails through the woods. There is a 2 1/2 acre pond where you are welcome to kayak, canoe or paddleboard. A 10 acre swamp, a small creek (that does often dry up in the summer....it's beautiful in the spring), and bountiful wildlife. Nearby are many more recreational opportunities. Within driving distances varying from 5 minutes to an hour (most things within 20 minutes) are a river, two creeks, several lakes (all with public boat access, some with swimming), hiking and biking trails, wineries, brewery, restaurants, a movie theater and shopping (grocery stores and the small downtown are less than 10 minutes). We can provide more information and directions for any activities you are interested in. Our private road which leads to the areas available for camping has only one resident who lives past (with access rights to use the road to get to his property) so it is secluded with no traffic. It can be very dark on moonless nights which is fantastic for stargazing. Intrepid winter campers will find the sky is most crisp clear and incredible in the winter....but the summer is still quite spectacular. Blueberry season is all of July and spilling into August (although winding down by then). During that time the Grassy corner site is more out of the way and quieter. The Most Convenient Woods is close but separate, no one except a passing disc golfer can easily look into your site. You will hear activity in the blueberry field during the day. Possibly including a noise maker that makes a periodic boom in the mornings to keep the birds from stealing all the berries (we are looking for quieter bird scaring options for the future). We try to keep that to a minimum especially if campers are present but can't promise silence. The noise maker is turned off as soon as customers are present so it is just a little while in the morning.

There is sold ground for a small size camper or any size tent. The lookout tower us for all to use. I am 25 minutes from Wellsboro PA and the Pa Grand Canyon with a 62 mile rail trail, bike and kayak rentals are 40 minutes away, one hour to Finger lakes, locally there is lots of hiking, fishing and exploring. 4 wheel drive maybe needed in winter for my driveway.

Greene Kitchen Farm has been farmed by the Greene family since 2013.  If you step back in time a few owners, the Kitchen family with 8 boys and a girl farmed the land that surrounds the little tributary to Montour Run.  The Greenes have been pasturing the majority of the land in nature's image with an eye toward biomimicry and an agro-forestal, savannah landscape.  The herbivores pulse through the landscape with flocks of birds following them.   Since the livestock have been fenced out of the creek, a little jewel of a wildlife refuge traverses the farm from northwest to southeast.  This riparian zones shades the creek, protects the water quality, and provides great habitat for coyotes, minks, eagles, white-tailed deer, groundhogs, hawks, squirrels, woodcock, and a variety of songbirds.  Greene Kitchen Farm camp sites are situated on this varied section of brook.      Learn more about this land:Bring your tent or park your pop-up along the spring at Greene Kitchen Farm. Now, our property has become our retirement sanctuary, for us to use with our RV. We developed 2 RV sites with full hookups, including 30, 50 Amp and 110 electric. There is water and sewage hookups, at both sites. We would like to share this sanctuary with others, who would appreciate it. Our property is one mile from Cowanesque Lake, where there is fishing, boating, and swimming. It is also within driving distance from the Finger Lakes and wineries, Watkins Glenn, Corning Glass Museum, Leonard Harrison and Colton Point State Parks, Hills Creek State Park, Mansfield University, Tioga Boar Hunting Reserve, and the adorable town of Wellsboro. There are no lights on our property and is very dark at night. It is best to arrive during daylight, for easier RV hook up. However, due to the darkness, stargazing is spectacular. Wendy and Dennis have a great site in Lawrenceville. We had our pick of two different spots and had the whole place to ourselves. It is located on a quiet road close to Cowanesque Lake and some very nice hiking trails. The sites were level and well-maintained. They were kind enough to provide a charcoal grill and firewood for the fire pit. The hook-ups were fantastic, with options for 20, 30, and 50 amp. This is a great place to set up base if you plan on visiting the area or are looking for a place to stay if you pass through on a longer trip. We would highly recommend it. The stargazing is also incredible!

I wish we had more time there! It was a last minute booking on our way to New York. We couldn’t have found a better spot. Dark night sky, hot tub, quiet, private, beautiful views. We got in late and didn’t have to do anything other than put up our hammocks and go to sleep. You don’t have to think about locking anything up. We were free to roam the property. We loved the tower view of the sunset. We got to see the Milky Way while lying down on the hill. Our son decided to stay on the hill to sleep for the night so he could watch the stars. The host was quick to respond to any questions on the app. As someone with multiple orthopedic issues the hot tub was amazing! My only recommendation is to put some sort of railing to step up onto the deck to use the hot tub. Our whole family agreed that it was the nicest hot tub we had ever used. We don’t come this way often but we will definitely stay here again if we do!

This is a really nice spot for a camper or two! The location has great hookups, sits back far enough from the road, and there were no problems with bugs or anything while we were there. There are lakes and rivers to access with boats and kayaks. For some quick hiking, I’d recommend the Stephenhouse Trail. Go on the Tioga river 🛶 and then stop at Jones Cones 🍦. Just a really great spot for a care free easy going stay ☀️

Wendy and Dennis's Calm Mountain camping was wonderful. The location was easy to find. It was just a short drive down a paved and slightly narrow back road, but there was no traffic and no issues maneuvering to the driveway or turning in and getting set up for our stay. Water, sewer and electric hookups were placed well and we had no trouble there. The property is beautiful: well maintained, 2 level sites to choose from, quiet and serene. It really was dark after sunset. We saw amazing stars at night and listened to the birds all day. We saw a few deer and watched the moon AND sun rising over the mountains. The picnic table was a nice touch. The stone campfire ring worked well, but next time we will bring a rack to cook over it. This is a great place to use as a base camp for exploring or even just to stay and relax. The location was great for exploring Tioga and Potter Counties and was just a short road trip to New York (Cornell and the Finger Lakes). Wendy helped with recommendations and the communication was great. We will definitely return and hope to bring friends along to camp in the second site. Thank you so much for hosting us!

We have been to Calm Mountain several times and it just keeps getting better. Level site, great hookups and the lot is big enough to hook and unhook our Jeep from our 36’ Class A. It’s the perfect peaceful private place to unwind in nature, but also a great location to bike the Pine Creek Rail trail, explore and hike the PA Grand Canyon and gorge nearby. Great hiking, and so much to do! We are so grateful that these amazing hosts share this beautiful Calm Mountain.

The property itself doesn’t offer much to explore, but if you’re just looking for a quiet place to rest for the night, it serves that purpose well.

This was the perfect stopover on the way to a wine tasting trip. Plus it’s only 10 minutes to Jason’s’ Pub in Tioga, which is a must stop. The sites are clean with ample space for any size rv. Owners are very hospitable and have split wood and a charcoal barbecue available to use. Although the sites are just off the road, they are very private and the road is very low traffic. Great stargazing too.

Very nice clean lot. Plenty of room surrounded by woods. Room for two RVs if you wanted a friend to join you otherwise it’s just you. Nice and private. You can slightly see a neighbor through the trees but other than that you’re on a nice level plot with fields and surrounded by trees. Hookup was great and easy access. We enjoyed our stay and are looking at other dates that our friends could join us.

This is by far my favorite state park in PA. The Loyalsock Creek is beautiful and there are many swimming holes to visit. It is so peaceful to fall asleep to the sound of the creek at night. Hiking trails are excellent. Don't miss the hike up to Canyon Vista, which offers amazing views of the Endless Mountains. There are 2 camping loops, 1 with and 1 without electric hookups. Modern bathroom facilities are well maintained. Rustic cabins are available year round and are super cozy in the winter.
