The property was great. Quiet, clean, great layout. We had a wonderful stay. We will be back again for sure. Wendy and Dennis provided great communications and were wonderful hosts.

One of the best Hipcamp sites I’ve stayed at. Close by so many amazing spots. A few minutes from Cowanesque lake rec areas. Close to Pine creek gorge, not too far from Watkins glen to check that out on a day trip. Super private but close to lots of necessities. Gorgeously maintained property. Easy pull in with my little 18 foot camper. Lots of room for pups to play. 10/10. Highly recommend

Wendy and Dennis have a great site in Lawrenceville. We had our pick of two different spots and had the whole place to ourselves. It is located on a quiet road close to Cowanesque Lake and some very nice hiking trails. The sites were level and well-maintained. They were kind enough to provide a charcoal grill and firewood for the fire pit. The hook-ups were fantastic, with options for 20, 30, and 50 amp. This is a great place to set up base if you plan on visiting the area or are looking for a place to stay if you pass through on a longer trip. We would highly recommend it. The stargazing is also incredible!

Absolutely perfect getaway spot! You won’t be disappointed. If you are a nature lover this is a great area or if you just want to get away it is nicely secluded but close enough to get in and out of easily..

This is a really nice spot for a camper or two!
The location has great hookups, sits back far enough from the road, and there were no problems with bugs or anything while we were there.
There are lakes and rivers to access with boats and kayaks. For some quick hiking, I’d recommend the Stephenhouse Trail. Go on the Tioga river 🛶 and then stop at Jones Cones 🍦. Just a really great spot for a care free easy going stay ☀️

Wendy and Dennis's Calm Mountain camping was wonderful. The location was easy to find. It was just a short drive down a paved and slightly narrow back road, but there was no traffic and no issues maneuvering to the driveway or turning in and getting set up for our stay. Water, sewer and electric hookups were placed well and we had no trouble there. The property is beautiful: well maintained, 2 level sites to choose from, quiet and serene. It really was dark after sunset. We saw amazing stars at night and listened to the birds all day. We saw a few deer and watched the moon AND sun rising over the mountains. The picnic table was a nice touch. The stone campfire ring worked well, but next time we will bring a rack to cook over it. This is a great place to use as a base camp for exploring or even just to stay and relax. The location was great for exploring Tioga and Potter Counties and was just a short road trip to New York (Cornell and the Finger Lakes). Wendy helped with recommendations and the communication was great. We will definitely return and hope to bring friends along to camp in the second site. Thank you so much for hosting us!

We have been to Calm Mountain several times and it just keeps getting better. Level site, great hookups and the lot is big enough to hook and unhook our Jeep from our 36’ Class A. It’s the perfect peaceful private place to unwind in nature, but also a great location to bike the Pine Creek Rail trail, explore and hike the PA Grand Canyon and gorge nearby. Great hiking, and so much to do! We are so grateful that these amazing hosts share this beautiful Calm Mountain.

This campsite is conveniently located making it easy to find and access. There are two level gravel sites that are a decent size with full hook-ups.
Across from the campsite is a small grassy field. The property itself doesn’t offer much to explore, but if you’re just looking for a quiet place to rest for the night, it serves that purpose well.

Very open and quiet location just off a very quiet road. The site is elevated off the road so it is very private. It’s perfect for an overnight of stargazing. It’s clean and well maintained. We stayed for easy access to the Finger Lakes the next day. Jasons’ pub in Tioga is about 10 minutes away and is a “must go to” for us anytime we are in the area. The owners are extremely hospitable and accommodating.

This was the perfect stopover on the way to a wine tasting trip. Plus it’s only 10 minutes to Jason’s’ Pub in Tioga, which is a must stop. The sites are clean with ample space for any size rv. Owners are very hospitable and have split wood and a charcoal barbecue available to use. Although the sites are just off the road, they are very private and the road is very low traffic. Great stargazing too.

Very nice clean lot. Plenty of room surrounded by woods. Room for two RVs if you wanted a friend to join you otherwise it’s just you. Nice and private. You can slightly see a neighbor through the trees but other than that you’re on a nice level plot with fields and surrounded by trees. Hookup was great and easy access. We enjoyed our stay and are looking at other dates that our friends could join us.

2nd time here for us. We love hiking in the area, biking Pine Creek Rail Trail then coming back to our own peaceful RV spot on Calm Mountain. (Site is level, hookups are excellent.) Open sky had unlimited stars on our last night. This is one of our favorite Hipcamps.

This place was wonderful! Very private, beautiful campsite with full hookups and good water pressure. There were tons of deer and a few bunnies to watch. Only downside was the water was a little smelly like sulfur.

We loved camping here, if you are looking for seclusion this is the place. The RV hookups and parking were perfectly appointed and we had an amazing time unwinding. We got to watch and storm roll through the mountains and it was just beautiful.

We loved camping in Calm Mountain. We had so much privacy, watching the deer walk out of the mist in the early mornings and seeing the thunderstorm come through the mountains. It is such a beautiful, calm space, truly lives up to the name. The land is so nicely kept and hookups were a breeze. There is a town nearby for supplies. We will definitely be back- 10/10!

Such a great place to camp! On top of a hill. Breezy, listening to the trees in the wind. Private, with all the amenities we needed including surprise wood supply and grill. Took the bike and explored the lake nearby and went swimming too. Close to Corning Museum of art.

This Hipcamp is amazing! Everything was perfect and we enjoyed hiking /biking in the area. The location is ideal for The Grand Canyon of PA and NY’s Fingerlakes. Wendy and Dennis are wonderful hosts. (There are actually 2 sites, both are level, with very good hookups) This spot is private as we had it all to ourselves. Our 36’ Class A sat on top of the hill surrounded by peaceful Mountains and open skies . We loved this Hipcamp and can’t wait to go back!

Their spot was great. Very quiet and private. Got our Sabre 37fl 5th wheel into the site with no problems. Lots of deer in the field in the evenings. Quick drive to the south shore recreation area on Cowanesque lake.

The space was on a hill overlooking a lot of forest. It was like a private RV park just for us. Dennis spoke with me on the phone before to explain the de-winterizing process which was extremely simple. Overall, great experience. It was a boon to have hookups and so much space.

We really enjoyed our stay at Wendy and Dennis's land. About 10 deer met us upon arrival and they sort of hung around the area during our time there.
It is super private and directions provided were easy to follow. We look forward to a time when we can stay there again.
