We welcome all members of the community, and emphasize that we are safe space for BIPOC and for members of the LGBTQI community. All people are beautiful. Be sure to message us if you would like to purchase firewood, meats or apples. Each tiny house as a full sized mattress, you can also rent a full sized cot for $20. You can message, we will leave your items for contact free pick-up and you can pay cash or venmo us later. Please carry out what you carry in and leave it clean for the next group. We clean between all visitors - and are currently keeping quite a distance to protect you, the site and everybody involved. The property is a 5 minute drive to the hamlet of Mountaindalewhich has a lovely Rail Trail for hikes and bikes, and some excellent dining options including @ highvoltagecatskills, in addition to creek bar a magical cafe & bar with outdoor seating and fire pits that serves delicious modern Polish American comfort food, great cocktails, and has live music and events on weekends. There is also an artisan pizza spot with indoor/outdoor seating, hipster vibes and fun cocktails and live music @ thedaleNY For shopping you can also stop by @ forageandgather - they have foods, meats, gourmet deli and coffee and carry all the little things you may have forgotten to bring along in addition to a locally and craft focused wine and spirits shop. Also stop by @badgrandmashop for the most vibrant and stylish clothes for all sizes and styles. Not to be missed. There is also a lovely yoga studio and bollywood dance spot in addition to some other delightful gems in town. There is superb hiking nearby at Neversink Unique Area in Rock Hill. Also Bashakill trails (and conveniently a vineyard with tastings and events right nearby). Your'e also about 30 minutes away from super cute fun larger towns and attractions like New Paltz, Livingston Manor, and tons of incredible Catskill hiking and nature opportunities. NOTE! There's an excellent Farmers Market on Saturday's in Rock Hill from 10-1pm from June to September also. Come find us there! All lodging sites have heating for your comfort and are available year round! The River's Edge campsites sit on the shoreline of the Delaware River at the western edge of New York State overlooking the mountains of Pennsylvania. Our canvas tents and open air platforms perch between the river and the former Delaware & Hudson Canal which was once was used to transport raw goods by barge to New York City via the 'port' of Port Jervis. The remnants of the canal walls are throughout the property including a 300 person theater which we created to both preserve and feature this industrial history. It also makes a great place for an event or a movie night. Today, the original canal towpath, along which barges would be pulled and floated downstream, is a trail that links all of the campsites over 5 acres and at the furthest end an eel fishing camp that is in operation from June to October (say 'hi' to Jim). In the early 1900s, the train replaced the canal as the primary method of moving goods into New York and if you are lucky — you will hear the train rumble by along the river on the Pennsylvania side. There is something spectacular in the absolute still and grandness of the river, the mountains and the ongoing industrial history of the valley. It is a reminder of the way things used to be. The farmhouse and cabins are located opposite the campsites on other side of route 97. Next to them are 50 acres of wild forest to hike and explore. These accommodations are great for guests who want more amenities but still with easy access to river. Pair campsites and cabins so that all your guests have their best experience. Rustic tent sites and log cabins on nearly 400 acres nestled in the Appalachian Mountains. The property has been in our family since the late 1800's, initially operating as an ochre mill. We are near the historic town of Jim Thorpe, Whitewater Rafting Adventures, Hickory Run State Park, Lehigh Gorge State Park, Tuscarora State Park, and more. ***PLEASE READ BELOW AND READ EACH SITE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BOOKING*** - Our tent sites are rustic with NO electric or running water. Cabins have electric, but no indoor plumbing. Porta-Johns are available throughout the grounds. (Some sites are closer to port-a-johns than others.) We do not provide potable water or showers for tent campers but we allow responsible use of the stream for cleaning. Cabins have a rustic outdoor shower available May-October. Please inquire for camper vans and pop ups. - FIREWOOD: Due to the threat of invasive pests, we ask that you do not transport wood onto the grounds. We have firewood for sale for $7 per crate. You can pick and crate your wood at the wood pile on the grounds at your convenience. Please bring cash if possible or get in touch at the end of your stay to pay via Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle. -We have a variety of wildlife in the area, including BLACK BEARS. Due to the colder weather, and lack of sunlight, we will be shutting down for the season. Welcome to The Record Room! Our property has a vast collection of vintage, classic, and current vinyl albums that play solely from solar power. Its audio system delivers sound on the inside and out for a campfire mood that can't be beaten. The Monguap River is close enough to be seen and heard from the cabin, but the adventure of getting there is half the fun! The Delaware River is only 2 miles from our location, and River rafting is a big business around here. A small artesian-fed creek runs right next to the cabin. It lends to the relaxing sounds of water with many quaint spots for you to dip your toes into, paired with a wood-fired tub that feeds off of the stream, which can only be explained by experience (weather-dependent). Our hot tub also pairs beautifully with our newest addition to the cabin, our sauna! Perfect for a cold plunge afterwards (more information in the add-on description)! A queen temper-pedic bed and super comfy overstuffed futon will assure a good night's slumber. The Record Room's covered outdoor kitchen is designed to extend the awesome vibes into every meal.. (I.E., Flat top grill, single burner, and stainless grate grill all powered by propane, cast iron frying pans, and utensils). Our outhouse is designed and maintained by the women of the family, and great pride is taken in making it a favorable experience. A small wood stove heats the Record Room on chilly mornings and nights. If you're looking for the fine line between camping and glamping, this is your place! We recommend having some prior camping expertise, and we must mention that there is no WiFi/ service. We have a few spots available for your friend circle to pitch a tent and enjoy the experience with you! A basic convenience store can be located three miles to the right of our property with all your basic needs (including gas). For your grocery shopping, a small family-owned market can be found within 10 minutes up the road. If you're looking for activities, there are plenty of rafting/canoeing/kayaking companies for your enjoyment. This campsite is nestled in the deep woods of a 120 acre farm that offers beautiful views coming and going. After being allowed to use the restroom at the stone farmhouse, you will then go rustic and start your 3/4 - 1 mile hike in (approximately 20 minutes to the campsite) past the fields and pond down the path into the woods. The trail is remote and you will instantly be able to leave the sights and sounds of civilization behind you and breath the clean forest air. Wear good hiking shoes because portions of the hike are uneven and rocky. This site is best for experienced campers who know how to pack light with just the essentials as there is no tractor service to this campsite. When you arrive at the campsite, you will be within 20 feet of a year round stream with brook trout and in a hundred foot tall hemlock canopy nestled between two brook meadows. A 9,000 acre forested preserve abuts our property so you will be able to completely relax, bird watch, enjoy the wildlife, or fish for a brook trout breakfast without hearing the sounds of anyone but yourselves. The campsite has a stone fire pit, split log benches for seating, a canvas privacy blind around a stand of trees where the composting toilet resides, and a food bag lift to attach your food and trash bags to about 100 yards from the campsite. Unlimited Split firewood is free next to where you will park that you can take down to the site. All trash needs to be carted out with you. We can't accept mixed trash as it will attract animals that will knock over the trashcans and make a mess. No food goes in our personal trashcans as we have learned this the hard way. Nestled outside the village of Stillwater, NJ right across the Appalachian trail and the Kittatinny Mountain Ridge, Camp David sports three luxurious log cabins: > Bell's Cabin- Main cabin that sleeps up to six > The Chatham House- Sleeps up to ten > Chief's Cottage- sleeps up to ten All cabins have their own separate listing and can be booked together or combined. The main cabin, Belle's Cabin, is made from hand hewed logs and is the only cabin furnished with a king size bed. All cabins come equipped with full bathrooms, updated kitchens, wood stoves, and the main cabin has a walkout porch on the second floor. All cabins have climate controlled heating/cooling units as well as hot water. Camp David was originally a German hunting camp at the turn of the 20th century. It was later donated to the Boy Scouts in the 1940’s. By the 2000’s, it was left abandoned at which time I purchased it and began to restore it back to its true form while maintaining the cabin life integrity. I am a contractor and arborist by trade and the last ten years I have worked hard to bring the site back to life. The camp consists of 13 acres abutted by 100's of acres of state park land. There are two stocked ponds connected by a cascading stream, multiple fire pits with seating, furnished gazebo with wood stove, picnic tables, and multiple park benches located throughout the property. This is a great place to gather in a small group and take in the Catskills. 10 min to downtown Livingston Manor + close to lots of amazing hikes! One of my favorite hikes is right down the road and the house is close to Giant Ledge / Panther for a little more exercise. :) You can have a lovely time on the property exploring the meadows and woods. There's even a natural spring 1/2 mile up the road if you want to take some fresh mountain water on your journey. We love enjoying meals on the deck and we are walking distance to rivers, streams and lakes are only a 10 min drive where you can sunbathe on the beach! We're @livingston_manor_birdhouse :). Private and off-grid tiny home near the Neversink Unique Area hiking trails. This tiny house is approximately a tenth of a mile from guest parking. A marked trail to the site with trail markers for easy direction. This tiny house has solar powered WIFI and lights. This is not an insulated structure and during the winter months there is no running water. The outhouse is located about 50 feet from the tiny house. The Tiny House is located in a very private and remote location that sits next to thousands of acres of state land with beautiful hiking trails and access to the Neversink River. Guest access Private and easy parking with short hike down hill to the site if you are unable to drive directly to the site (NOTE: During the winter months all guests must park in the designated parking spot and hike to the site. You cannot drive as a result of the unpredictable weather) While the hike is short, some parts are steep, so please walk slowly and take your time. Driving to the site can only be done during the spring and summer months and requires a high clearance Truck, Jeep or SUV with all wheel drive or 4-Wheel Drive ONLY. If you run out of water in the shower you will need to wait for the next rainfall for it to collect and build back up. During the late fall and winter months, this site will be open to winter campers who come prepared with the necessities and truly know how to winter camp. There will be no running water during this time and the solar will not work as well as it does during the summer months. We recommend not using the electric during the daytime hours, as this helps conserve power for when you will need to use it at night. We provide the following linens: fitted sheet for the full size bed in the loft, 4 sleeping bags, and 4 pillows. Anything additional must be brought by the guest.

All lodging sites have heating for your comfort and are available year round! The River's Edge campsites sit on the shoreline of the Delaware River at the western edge of New York State overlooking the mountains of Pennsylvania. Our canvas tents and open air platforms perch between the river and the former Delaware & Hudson Canal which was once was used to transport raw goods by barge to New York City via the 'port' of Port Jervis. The remnants of the canal walls are throughout the property including a 300 person theater which we created to both preserve and feature this industrial history. It also makes a great place for an event or a movie night. Today, the original canal towpath, along which barges would be pulled and floated downstream, is a trail that links all of the campsites over 5 acres and at the furthest end an eel fishing camp that is in operation from June to October (say 'hi' to Jim). In the early 1900s, the train replaced the canal as the primary method of moving goods into New York and if you are lucky — you will hear the train rumble by along the river on the Pennsylvania side. There is something spectacular in the absolute still and grandness of the river, the mountains and the ongoing industrial history of the valley. It is a reminder of the way things used to be. The farmhouse and cabins are located opposite the campsites on other side of route 97. Next to them are 50 acres of wild forest to hike and explore. These accommodations are great for guests who want more amenities but still with easy access to river. Pair campsites and cabins so that all your guests have their best experience. Our property has a vast collection of vintage, classic, and current vinyl albums that play solely from solar power. Its audio system delivers sound on the inside and out for a campfire mood that can't be beaten. The Monguap River is close enough to be seen and heard from the cabin, but the adventure of getting there is half the fun! The Delaware River is only 2 miles from our location, and River rafting is a big business around here. A small artesian-fed creek runs right next to the cabin. It lends to the relaxing sounds of water with many quaint spots for you to dip your toes into, paired with a wood-fired tub that feeds off of the stream, which can only be explained by experience (weather-dependent). Our hot tub also pairs beautifully with our newest addition to the cabin, our sauna! Perfect for a cold plunge afterwards (more information in the add-on description)! A queen temper-pedic bed and super comfy overstuffed futon will assure a good night's slumber. The Record Room's covered outdoor kitchen is designed to extend the awesome vibes into every meal.. (I.E., Flat top grill, single burner, and stainless grate grill all powered by propane, cast iron frying pans, and utensils). Our outhouse is designed and maintained by the women of the family, and great pride is taken in making it a favorable experience. A small wood stove heats the Record Room on chilly mornings and nights. If you're looking for the fine line between camping and glamping, this is your place! We recommend having some prior camping expertise, and we must mention that there is no WiFi/ service. We have a few spots available for your friend circle to pitch a tent and enjoy the experience with you! A basic convenience store can be located three miles to the right of our property with all your basic needs (including gas). For your grocery shopping, a small family-owned market can be found within 10 minutes up the road. If you're looking for activities, there are plenty of rafting/canoeing/kayaking companies for your enjoyment. This campsite is nestled in the deep woods of a 120 acre farm that offers beautiful views coming and going. After being allowed to use the restroom at the stone farmhouse, you will then go rustic and start your 3/4 - 1 mile hike in (approximately 20 minutes to the campsite) past the fields and pond down the path into the woods. The trail is remote and you will instantly be able to leave the sights and sounds of civilization behind you and breath the clean forest air. Wear good hiking shoes because portions of the hike are uneven and rocky. This site is best for experienced campers who know how to pack light with just the essentials as there is no tractor service to this campsite. When you arrive at the campsite, you will be within 20 feet of a year round stream with brook trout and in a hundred foot tall hemlock canopy nestled between two brook meadows. A 9,000 acre forested preserve abuts our property so you will be able to completely relax, bird watch, enjoy the wildlife, or fish for a brook trout breakfast without hearing the sounds of anyone but yourselves. The campsite has a stone fire pit, split log benches for seating, a canvas privacy blind around a stand of trees where the composting toilet resides, and a food bag lift to attach your food and trash bags to about 100 yards from the campsite. Unlimited Split firewood is free next to where you will park that you can take down to the site. All trash needs to be carted out with you. We can't accept mixed trash as it will attract animals that will knock over the trashcans and make a mess. No food goes in our personal trashcans as we have learned this the hard way. The main cabin, Belle's Cabin, is made from hand hewed logs and is the only cabin furnished with a king size bed. All cabins have climate controlled heating/cooling units as well as hot water. Camp David was originally a German hunting camp at the turn of the 20th century. It was later donated to the Boy Scouts in the 1940’s. By the 2000’s, it was left abandoned at which time I purchased it and began to restore it back to its true form while maintaining the cabin life integrity. I am a contractor and arborist by trade and the last ten years I have worked hard to bring the site back to life. The camp consists of 13 acres abutted by 100's of acres of state park land. This is not an insulated structure and during the winter months there is no running water. The outhouse is located about 50 feet from the tiny house. The Tiny House is located in a very private and remote location that sits next to thousands of acres of state land with beautiful hiking trails and access to the Neversink River. Guest access Private and easy parking with short hike down hill to the site if you are unable to drive directly to the site (NOTE: During the winter months all guests must park in the designated parking spot and hike to the site. You cannot drive as a result of the unpredictable weather) While the hike is short, some parts are steep, so please walk slowly and take your time. Driving to the site can only be done during the spring and summer months and requires a high clearance Truck, Jeep or SUV with all wheel drive or 4-Wheel Drive ONLY. Keypad on the front door for easy entry. Other details to note Unless you have an all wheel drive or four wheel drive vehicle, Please DO NOT drive or attempt to drive to the tiny house site. The outdoor shower has been updated with a hot water rain catch system. Please be conscious of your water usage, as the water for the shower is collected via a gutter system. If you run out of water in the shower you will need to wait for the next rainfall for it to collect and build back up. During the late fall and winter months, this site will be open to winter campers who come prepared with the necessities and truly know how to winter camp. There will be no running water during this time and the solar will not work as well as it does during the summer months. We recommend not using the electric during the daytime hours, as this helps conserve power for when you will need to use it at night. We provide the following linens: fitted sheet for the full size bed in the loft, 4 sleeping bags, and 4 pillows. Anything additional must be brought by the guest.

Our girls camping trip to Camp Dietrich this weekend was amazing. Scott met us upon arrival and gave us a full rundown of the campground! The checkpoint shed had everything we needed, wood was ready to buy, and the Coleman stove made cooking every meal so easy. The creek beside our campsite was absolutely magical, and yes, I even took a cold plunge. The tent was super spacious, comfy bunk beds, and the heater kept us warm all night. We hiked to the waterfalls on-site, which were unreal. Already counting down to bringing the kids this summer. Highly recommend, 10/10.

We love Tiny House as it’s nestled in the woods and feels very private. The hosts are kind, give clear instructions, and they’re super responsive to any questions that may come up. We love to tent camp and this tiny house is a great option for the colder months. We were not able to use the woodstove during our stay, but there is also a diesel heater which warms the place quickly, and for a quieter option, a small portable propane heater (purchase cans of propane at the conveniently located trading post which also has literally anything else you may forget at home). As others have mentioned, the path down to Tiny House is steep… like for REAL. An ACTUAL 4-wheel drive can make it, but ONLY if the ground is dry. That said, be prepared to hike in/out your gear if need be. And if that’s not your cup of tea, we did discover that the hosts have a couple reasonably priced Airbnbs in the area - check out Cabin in Rock Hill “Trails Head Cabin” (on the same street as Tiny House) or nearby Home in Rock Hill “Beaver Lake Escape”. Our reason for visiting was to tackle the challenging hikes of the Neversink waterfalls. Trails Head Tiny House provided amazing access, as well as, respite from our hectic city life. We look forward to a future visit!

My boyfriend, dog, and I stayed for two nights at “a creek runs through it” and had a wonderful time. Scott was incredibly friendly and helpful. If you forgot to pack something, there’s a good chance you can borrow it from the check point shed. The site itself was gorgeous and very private. You really can “be one with nature” here. I look forward to visiting again once it warms up, to fully take advantage of the creek and some swimming. Highly recommend this place. Thank you to the Dietrich’s for a wonderful experience!

My sweetheart and I had such an amazing time at The Record Room. We stayed for 3 nights and we wish we had one more! It was a cozy getaway that felt timeless. We loved setting the vibe with the records, dancing in the living room, and just enjoying some slow, peaceful days. It was cold when we went and one day was particularly rainy, but there is a lot to enjoy indoors and the fireplace kept us warm and cozy. One thing to note is that the wood provided is rather thin and burns fast. For this reason, heating the hot tub and keeping the indoor fireplace lit is a JOB! We had to add every 15 minutes or so. Our recommendation is to start early on the hot tub and bring some of your own logs as well - even better if they’re the big fire-starter ones. Overall it’s a special place. Masen and his family are great hosts and we hope to make it back again someday.

We loved our stay at Kat’s land in her cozy and quaint cottage. It has the perfect layout for sleeping, relaxing by the fireplace, making food (and roasting smores!) We couldn’t have picked a more perfect time to visit - the fall colors were on full display. I selected to have fresh eggs and two bundles of firewood which was very convenient. The beds were comfy, there were plenty of fresh towels and blankets for all. We loved how stocked the bookcase was with books and games for all ages! The best part of the cabin was getting to hike down to the small creek and trails. It was just perfect and the whole house is quite convenient to town. We enjoyed our stay!

Amazing hosts and location. The campsite was clean and ready for us when we arrived, the place is very well maintained. The tent was dry and held heat well- although there's a propane heater, we didn't need it despite the temps being in the 40s at night. It rained a lot the first night but the tent remained dry thanks to the additional covering over the tent area. The foam mattresses were extremely comfortable. I live with chronic back pain and slept very well. The bedding was clean and plenty warm enough (sheets, comforter, extra large fleece blanket). There is a camping lamp provided for the tent, covered area, and bathroom. There are 4 camping chairs beneath each bed in the tent and some extra in the supply shed. I read reviews that said you really only need to bring your clothes and food...that's pretty much right. The supply shed has just about everything else you need. The place was so serene, we didn't see or hear anyone else, only the sound of the moving water. The hosts were amazing and even provided us with additional items we forgot and pumped my flat tire when we were ready to leave. I've already booked it again for next year!

The rolling creek, a feeder searching for it's mama - the Delaware River - runs down the mountainside and over the rocks to give power and life to the falls. There is absolutely NO smoking of any kind allowed in the cabin. A $200 charge will be applied if you do smoke inside to cover the additional cleaning costs. No Drugs or illegal activity. There are plenty of opportunities for hiking on our trails (pick berries and apples in season!) or in a nearby location, fishing in the Delaware River (need a license!), kayaking/tubing and wildlife watching (don’t feed the bears!). We have eagles that live across the road! And at night, you'll be amazed by the stars twinkling in the sky as you make s’mores before drifting off into a great night’s sleep. For those who want to experience the great outdoors, the Hillside Retreat is a fully outfitted 10’ x 12’ canvas tent camping site with sweeping views of the Delaware Valley. The tent is situated with plenty of room to enjoy camping with privacy, peace and quiet. The site has a variety of amenities, including a queen-sized bed with memory foam mattress & fleece cover, table with chair, nightstands, a solar fan, rechargeable camping lamp, a fire pit with grill top (exempt from fire ban), a picnic table with benches, Adirondack chairs, bug sprays, exterior solar string lights, a five gallon potable water container our filtered mountain water, 2 sun showers, a camp stove, cookware/utensils/tableware, a pop up tent and a privacy loo tent for nature’s call. The tent is comfy for two adults. We also offer for rental a very nice glamping cot for a child or another adult. We offer bed linen (sheets, pillows and blankets), Yeti cooler (Tundra 45 and/or 110 Hard Cooler both with Yeti Ice Blocks) and cot RENTAL as well as eggs for sale. We provide firewood. No firearms or hunting allowed on premises. We are a CIGARETTE FREE property. Discover a magical setting close to everything in the Catskills. This solo campsite is tucked into a private meadow pocket, bordered by a tumbling creek, woods, and my horse's favorite pasture, with views of the surrounding hillsides and the river valley leading to the Delaware River at Callicoon. Your accommodation includes a canvas tent on a platform with a queen-size air-mattress bed, a wood-burning stove, and two Adirondack chairs. A pop-up tent, that sleeps up to 6 persons, is available. We provide a large blanket and pillows with cases, but not sheets. Outside, there's a fire pit and a picnic table with benches. We supply fire-starters (kindling, newspaper, matches), but not firewood (available for purchase at a nearby market). Potable water is available in containers that are refilled upon request. The toilet is rustic. Our farm is home to herds of White-Tailed Deer, Wild Turkeys, Painted Turtles, Red-Tail Hawks, my Off-The-Track Thoroughbred horse, chickens, ducks, and Aslan, my Cocker Spaniel. Birdsong, frog song, the babbling creek, and the thundering hooves of Deva will serenade you to sleep. During your stay, you're welcome to hike, swim, and fish in the pond. Boating and fishing opportunities abound nearby, in the Delaware River or the famous fly-fishing creeks. Bethel Woods is a mere 20 minutes away. Other nearby activities include Farmers' Markets, breweries, farm-to-table restaurants, antique dealers, flea markets, art galleries, an Alpaca farm, golfing, horseback riding, and exploring numerous hiking trails.
