The cabin was an old fashion vibe. It has everything you need. It was well stocked. And the owners were friendly. The location was great. The lake was cute. The lake is right out back. But you have to be careful because it is a step area to walk. It is private and no one bothers you. Only problem was the outdoor shower and port a potty. When it rains as it did when we went there is a lot of mud. If you fish early in the morning you will see an eagle. You will hear all kind of animals from bears to frogs and cows. But nothing bothers you. The town is very peaceful.

I loved Sarah's land. The views were nice and easy directions to get there... the only thing is that it was windy and cold and raining so we weren't able to catch any fish almost caught 3 but didn't.. don't go when it's raining it's too muddy.. we didn't even have to bring anything she had everything you need even fresh eggs waiting for you.. the place was well lit and at night just take a flashlight with you to the bathroom... Sarah's husband showed us were everything was, walmart is about 20 to 30 mins away... will definitely go again but when it's not raining and cold.... thanks for the visit

Highly recommend this quiet, cozy cabin!! It was the perfect place for our annual get away for my Mom and I during a rainy, cold Memorial weekend. Absolutely no issues getting to the cabin - even after lots of rain -the field was a little muddy in spots but completely manageable, and drive through woods was mostly gravel. Hosts had a fire started before arrival to take chill and dampness out of the air and dry firewood was available to purchase right at cabin. We were also pleasantly surprised by the portable battery (for charging phones or powering the pump to blow up air mattresses) and solar overhead lights. Porta potty was very clean, as was the outdoor kitchen area and outdoor shower. Cleaner amenities than most campgrounds and much quieter!!

It had all the amenities we needed to sleep/cook/relax comfortably while being completely private and peaceful. Our pups loved being able to run around off leash all weekend long and taking a swim in the pond. None of us wanted to leave and we will definitely try to come back in future ❤️

Another lovely visit to Journey's End! We were early in the season so it was chilly, but we had an amazing time away from home with friends. We rented both cabins and both treehouses so the kids in the group had different places to explore and options for sleeping. Made for a very fun weekend; visiting the goats and chickens, cooking by the fire, even got a little fishing in on the small pond in the back of the property. And we wouldn't leave a weekend at JE without bringing home some of their maple syrup - it's really amazing. Highly recommend a visit!

Le petite cabine is the perfect combination of civilization and simplicity. We had a rainy weekend and so enjoyed the sound of the rain on the roof, the birds and the river and that’s all the sound there was! It was incredibly private. The outdoor shower was incredibly refreshing. It is a 5 minute drive from the town of Narrowsburg which has all kinds of restaurants and shopping. There is direct riverfront access. The site is good for all seasons and the host provided wonderful instructions and recommendations which helped us enjoy our trip so much. I can’t wait to go back. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

From the moment we booked, the host's warm welcome set the tone for our stay. Her attentiveness and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The cabin itself was the epitome of coziness. With its rustic charm and thoughtful amenities, it provided a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. One of the highlights for our children was the opportunity to explore the great outdoors. They spent alot of time playing and exploring the nearby stream, collecting rocks, and observing the local wildlife. The surrounding nature trails offered scenic walks that the whole family enjoyed, providing both adventure and tranquility. Evenings were spent gathered around the fire pit, roasting marshmallows and sharing stories. This is now one of my favorite spots. The cubby is perfect, comfy bed, heat and ac, and a real refrigerator. It feels like a tree house, with a little deck on the back and lots of windows facing the woods. Bath house has excellent hot showers. I can't wait to go back.

I had a truly lovely stay at this cozy and peaceful cabin. The atmosphere was calm and perfect for disconnecting and relaxing. It was quite chilly during my visit, but the small heater kept the space comfortable, and Andy kindly provided extra blankets, which I really appreciated. The cabin also has air conditioning for warmer days. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet retreat surrounded by nature and a thoughtful host.

We are near the historic town of Jim Thorpe, Whitewater Rafting Adventures, Hickory Run State Park, Lehigh Gorge State Park, Tuscarora State Park, and more. ***PLEASE READ BELOW AND READ EACH SITE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BOOKING*** - Our tent sites are rustic with NO electric or running water. Cabins have electric, but no indoor plumbing. Porta-Johns are available throughout the grounds. (Some sites are closer to port-a-johns than others.) We do not provide potable water or showers for tent campers but we allow responsible use of the stream for cleaning. Cabins have a rustic outdoor shower available May-October. Most sites are 100+ yards apart, but you may hear some noise carrying from neighboring sites. Please inquire for camper vans and pop ups. - FIREWOOD: Due to the threat of invasive pests, we do not allow firewood to be transported onto the grounds. We have firewood for sale for $7 per crate. You can pick and crate your wood at the wood pile on the grounds at your convenience. From 1939-2020 our family ran a summer sleep-away camp for children on the farm, with an emphasis on caring for each other and the land. Located in a small valley at 1400 feet of elevation, our fields and woods are home to a broad diversity of native plants and animals. Our family has been caring for this land since 1926, but before European colonization it was home to the Lenape people from whom it was forcibly taken. Acknowledging this fact and working to expand awareness of Indigenous cultures and their rights is important to us. While at the farm, besides the amenities listed in each listing, you are welcome to hike or walk around and explore our farm which has many acres of woodland, creeks, springs, a pond, and open fields. A hot day is a great time for a walk along - or in - the creek. A rainy day brings out the Red Efts - beautiful orange newts that are all over the woods when you know where to look. We're always glad to point you in the right direction for a nice walk or a longer hike. You may be able to tag along collecting eggs from the hens or feeding some of the other animals we may have.

Sleep like a log in our one-room charming cabin on a small private lake lot with non-motor boats only. Little Elk Lake is 43 acres. Queen bed with linens provided, plus 2 adult cots with pads and sleeping bags. Rowboat plus 1 youth kayak, two adult kayaks and a canoe are available for your use, and we have life jackets in many sizes. We are sorry but the pontoon boat cannot be used by guests. The fishing is EXCELLENT and bring your binoculars - BALD EAGLES frequent the lake! We want you to have so much FUN during your visit, but we are not a party spot. The lake is rural and quiet, and so we must request low noise levels after 10 pm in order to keep our neighborhood HAPPY! :) We welcome everyone, including the LGBQT community and folks from all ethnicities. You'll feel like you are coming home to a safe haven and all guests will be treated with kindness and respect here at Sunset Shore! Don't waste one moment of lake time! GROCERY, PHARMACY and EVEN HOMEGOODS delivery is available. Our local large grocery chain Price Chopper, Rite Aid and Family Dollar all deliver to the cabin. The name of the app is INSTACART. NEW - a Smart TV to keep those little ones entertained on rainy days. A WIFI Hotspot is available in the add-on section of your reservation. There are firepits and picnic tables at the sites. Also we have 2 bath houses and showers and there is a dump station on property. There are lots of sight seeing to do in the area the big one being Promised Land State Park. Also there are a few restaurants nearby the closest on is Mountain House Tavern.
