100 Mile View Camping is a family-run campground that is located in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania on a property that has 100 Mile East to West Panoramic Views. It is comprised of several parcels totaling 100's of acres that were purchased over the past 35 years. We have shared our property with hikers, bikers, and outdoor recreation enthusiasts since day one. Our campground started with only 6 campsites, but with great reviews, we continue growing and have recently received the approvals to become one of the premier camping and outdoor resort destinations in the Eastern United States. New in July, 2026! A peaceful riverfront nature retreat on the pristine Upper Delaware River. Easy, private river access to swim, wade, fish, and hand launch your kayak or small boat.
Guests enjoy eagle sightings, birdwatching, and a thriving wild trout population that draws anglers from all over the world. Campsites are nestled in a shaded grove of mature hardwood trees. The riverfront is a one minute walk down a trail to a gently sloping riverbank. The water is typically 1-3 ft deep near shore.
Amenities: Each site has a large mulched area, picnic table and fire ring with cooking grate. There is a clean port-a-potty bathroom by the parking area, serviced every Friday. Firewood is available to purchase by the bundle in advance (see Extras) or on-site. Bring your own drinking water jugs. Garbage is pack in, pack out.
Group sizes: 4 people per site. We consider exceptions for up to 6 if you have good HipCamp reviews or for additional kids in the same family. Send us a note. A full site buyout for up to 20 guests is also available.
Well Behaved Dogs: At Site 5 Grouse Cove only. This is to keep the vibe tranquil and clean. Max 2 dogs.
River safety: Typically calm and shallow near shore. Depth increases and current becomes stronger as you walk out toward mid-river. This is a river not a pool or lake. The river is not always safe for swimming after heavy rains and upstream water releases. Life jackets are strongly encouraged even for strong swimmers and are required by the National Park Service for kids. Swim at your own risk. No lifeguard.
Boats: Canoes, kayaks, rafts, tubes, or inflatables - hand carry and launch right from camp. The walk to the waterfront is less than 2 minutes from parking down a stone trail. Trailered boats - launch at the nearby paved PA Fish and Boat Ramps (we are between Shehawken and Buckingham). Overnight parking for trailered boats is OK in our parking lot.
About Your Hosts: We are two nature-loving families with a 10+ year connection to the area. Our vision is a friendly, peaceful, low-density campground where friendships are made for a lifetime. We're hosting campers who are passionate about enjoying, conserving, and improving this incredible ecosystem for future generations to enjoy.
Location: You'll be at the edge of the Western Catskills just below the convergence of the East and West branches of the Upper Delaware River. Only 5 minutes to NY-17 in Hancock, NY; 35 miles to Bethel Woods; 30 minutes to Honesdale, PA or Narrowsburg, NY. Just minutes from many of the area's elite summer camps, PA state game lands, and prime fishing spots.
Liability Waiver: Guests will receive a waiver to e-sign before arrival. Please read and sign it before occupying your site to acknowledge you agree to the campsite rules and important safety info.
Events and Rental House: If you're looking to host an event such as a wellness retreat, micro-wedding, family reunion, etc. there's an adjacent riverfront rental house with large lawn. Contact us for info on group rates and full property buyouts.

A peaceful, relaxing grassy space where you can set up tents, cars, or vans for camping creekside surrounded by woods. Our property features private creek access, a fire pit with tons of campfire wood, and a clean portapotty for guests to use. There is also seating areas at the creek for guests to enjoy. We have many deer who call our property home so you should expect to see them almost daily. We also have a variety of other animals including raccoons, farm cats, and tons of birds including woodpeckers. We do live in an agricultural area so at times, you may hear farm equipment or cows. We also live near the Numidia Dragstrip and you may hear the races at times too.
Attractions very close by include Knoebels Amusement Park (voted #1 in the Country and still free admission), Numidia Raceway, and Weiser State Forest. Plus, we have tons of restaurants within a 20 minute drive.

A full-connection RV site near Lake Wallenpaupack. It is within a campground that was formerly a “Jellystone Park” and is now comprised of privately owned individual lots for camper units. Most lots have seasonally occupied park model homes and large campers. The host’s part-time residence is next door.
The site is an open (no trees) level gravel pad with water, sewer and 30-40-50 electric connections plus high speed WiFi. There are tall oak trees adjacent to the lot. The site has a fire ring and a picnic table. Big Bear campground is gated for security (you will be assigned a code) and has an outdoor pool with shower house (summer only), a playground, picnic pavilion, and walking trails. There is a community dumpster. No store or services.
Shopping, eateries, ice cream, pizza, a brewery-restaurant, groceries and laundry in Hawley are within a 7 minute (3 mile) drive. The Lake dam at sunset is popular. Walt’s Landing marina on Lake Wallenpaupack is within a 4 minute (1.5 mile) drive. The interior campground roads have speed bumps and an owner-enforced posted 5.5 mph speed limit.
A leashed pet and a supplemental tent for those in your party are allowed. Electric golf carts are allowed. There are evening quiet hours.

This is a great site if you are fully self contained. The area down by the river was awesome, we set our screen tent and enjoyed a fire overlooking the river. We saw eagles fishing right in front of the site. There were deer all around the neighborhood. It was very quiet. The screen tent was a necessity due to the mosquitoes.

Honestly, a great find! This was a saving grace during an event weekend at the Poconos Raceway. Needed a last minute charge for a 4 day festival. Power and water hookups were over an hour away and was overpriced.
This is nice spot with your own space. Water and 50amp power available. Highly recommend and support local!
