You can get to all of these activities in 3 miles with no traffic by turning left out of our driveway and driving west on Flagstaff Road to Jim Thorpe. We offer hiking and mountain biking trails on our property and a variety of camping opportunities for parties with tents, campers, overlanders, and RVs. We are near the historic town of Jim Thorpe, Whitewater Rafting Adventures, Hickory Run State Park, Lehigh Gorge State Park, Tuscarora State Park, and more.

- Our tent sites are rustic with NO electric or running water. We allow responsible use of the stream for cleaning. Please bring along potable water. Cabins have electric, but no indoor plumbing. Porta-Johns are available throughout the grounds. Cabins have a rustic outdoor shower available MID May- MID October. Please inquire for camper vans and pop ups.
- FIREWOOD: We have firewood for sale for $7 per crate. You can pick and crate your wood at the wood pile on the grounds at your convenience. Please bring cash if possible or get in touch at the end of your stay to pay via Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle.
-We have a variety of wildlife in the area, including BLACK BEARS. Please follow 'Leave No Trace' protocols and be mindful of trash and food throughout your stay. Keep your coolers in your vehicles and take garbage to the dumpster frequently. We have a dumpster available to you on the grounds.
-Check in is contactless. Upon booking, you will receive directions to your site.
**If you would like to stay for one night during the week or one night on a weekend during November-April, please get in touch and I can adjust the booking specifications. Otherwise, weekends are typically a two night minimum mid May through October. Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day Weekend are a three night minimum.**

Our property features private creek access, a fire pit with tons of campfire wood, and a clean portapotty for guests to use. There is also seating areas at the creek for guests to enjoy. We have many deer who call our property home so you should expect to see them almost daily. We also have a variety of other animals including raccoons, farm cats, and tons of birds including woodpeckers. We do live in an agricultural area so at times, you may hear farm equipment or cows. We also live near the Numidia Dragstrip and you may hear the races at times too.
Attractions very close by include Knoebels Amusement Park (voted #1 in the Country and still free admission), Numidia Raceway, and Weiser State Forest. There are plenty of farms and shops to check out including Rohrbach's Farm Store and agro tourism space, Catawissa Opera House, and Roaring Creek Provisions. Plus, we have tons of restaurants within a 20 minute drive.
In addition, Calm Creek has an onsite healing studio where you can book a personal energy healing session, Reiki, or card reading sessions.
We do live onsite and you may see us at times walking our golden retriever or having a campfire down at the creek. You do have your own personal space where you will be camping.

Our property consists of 20 acres of the beautiful Blue Mountain. At the Lookout you can see for 40 Miles across the valley below. With views from Allentown, Lyons and Reading. The area with the view is a shared area for both sites. Feel free to use the fire ring while you sit and watch the evening sky. It is breathtaking at night.
At the bottom of the mountain there is a Gunclub with a shooting range and you will hear shooting from the property. Please note it is far away and there is no danger
Our property is mostly the mountain side. But with an area that is flat for tent camping. The property is close to Route 309 but there is a camping area away from the road. Our land is next to the road and you will hear some road noise.
We are next to National Parks land which also consists of the Appalachian Trail and also against the Pennsylvania Game Lands. You can walk up the street or trail to Thunderhead Lodge Restaurant. Leaser lake is a short drive if you like fishing or kayaking. The Wanamakers Store is a unique place to visit with amazing sandwiches. The Wanamakers and Kemton railroad is close by for a weekend train ride. Bear Rock Junction is close by for mini golf and ice cream. Eight Oaks Distillery is only a few minutes away. Several wineries and antique shops as well.
You may also see Appalachian Trail Thru Hikers come thru our property to stay at the hostel. Please welcome our hikers as they come to rest their weary bodies. Welcome to the Lookout. We have made many improvements to our land but also try to maintain the beauty it is. We plan to keep upgrading our property.
We plan to use the land for Recreational activites. We have a Hiker Hostel in the Building. The Building was previously the Blue Mountain Lookout Restaurant but has been neglected for approximately 20 years. We are trying to restore the property to bring it back to life.

New in July, 2026! A peaceful riverfront nature retreat on the pristine Upper Delaware River. Easy, private river access to swim, wade, fish, and hand launch your kayak or small boat.
Guests enjoy eagle sightings, birdwatching, and a thriving wild trout population that draws anglers from all over the world. Campsites are nestled in a shaded grove of mature hardwood trees. The riverfront is a one minute walk down a trail to a gently sloping riverbank. The water is typically 1-3 ft deep near shore.
Amenities: Each site has a large mulched area, picnic table and fire ring with cooking grate. There is a clean port-a-potty bathroom by the parking area, serviced every Friday. Firewood is available to purchase by the bundle in advance (see Extras) or on-site. Bring your own drinking water jugs. Garbage is pack in, pack out.
Group sizes: 4 people per site. We consider exceptions for up to 6 if you have good HipCamp reviews or for additional kids in the same family. Send us a note. A full site buyout for up to 20 guests is also available.
Well Behaved Dogs: At Site 5 Grouse Cove only. This is to keep the vibe tranquil and clean. Max 2 dogs.
River safety: Typically calm and shallow near shore. Depth increases and current becomes stronger as you walk out toward mid-river. This is a river not a pool or lake. The river is not always safe for swimming after heavy rains and upstream water releases. Life jackets are strongly encouraged even for strong swimmers and are required by the National Park Service for kids. Swim at your own risk. No lifeguard.
Boats: Canoes, kayaks, rafts, tubes, or inflatables - hand carry and launch right from camp. The walk to the waterfront is less than 2 minutes from parking down a stone trail. Trailered boats - launch at the nearby paved PA Fish and Boat Ramps (we are between Shehawken and Buckingham). Overnight parking for trailered boats is OK in our parking lot.
About Your Hosts: We are two nature-loving families with a 10+ year connection to the area. Our vision is a friendly, peaceful, low-density campground where friendships are made for a lifetime. We're hosting campers who are passionate about enjoying, conserving, and improving this incredible ecosystem for future generations to enjoy.
Location: You'll be at the edge of the Western Catskills just below the convergence of the East and West branches of the Upper Delaware River. Only 5 minutes to NY-17 in Hancock, NY; 35 miles to Bethel Woods; 30 minutes to Honesdale, PA or Narrowsburg, NY. Just minutes from many of the area's elite summer camps, PA state game lands, and prime fishing spots.
Liability Waiver: Guests will receive a waiver to e-sign before arrival. Please read and sign it before occupying your site to acknowledge you agree to the campsite rules and important safety info.

Adam was a perfect host, always there to help with any questions (fire wood, local attractions, forest berries etc). Will def come back for more when the waterfalls have more flow. Dope!

Camping here was delightful. The thoughtfulness of the host did not go unnoticed. The bathroom is well kept. The shed full of items that you may need and have forgotten is a nice touch. Also having a rack full of split wood makes it easy to build a fire. We saw a nice mixture of wildlife as well. I would definitely take my family here again.

I had such a beautiful, restorative weekend at Roundstone! We stayed at site #7 and it was so magical. There were so many beautiful trees, mushrooms & wildlife. It was also great that firewood was offered onsite and the porta-pottys were pretty clean. We will definitely be back!

Adam and Karen's land is gorgeous. My partner and I had an amazing time with our dog staying at site #1. The waterfall directly next to the site was only a trickle when we stayed due to the weather, but Adam sent us a list of nearby waterfalls to look at that more than made up for it. It's definitely a steep climb uphill (nearly vertical in some places) but Adam was very helpful and hauled our things both up and down to our car in his atv. The tent was, thankfully, not filled with bugs living inside, which has been my experience in similar longstanding tents. The free firewood had enough for me to make 4 fires which was just enough for our stay. Everything was super well maintained. It was the perfect amount of privacy and support, quiet and help when you needed it. We'll definitely be returning!

We are leaving this place heartbroken that it needs to end. Casey’s land is pure magic … We finally found what we’ve been looking for so many years! Been staying at #1 this year. However, we prefer #3 because it’s much deeper into the woods and creek is more manageable for swimming with kids. But both sites are spotless, beautiful and quite! Sharing this with everyone!

2 nights at Paper Mill Pines Glamping Getaway
Beautiful surroundings, quiet, private, beautiful pond with the pink lilies in bloom.
Host was very friendly and accommodating shuttling my belongings to the site.
Fire ring stocked with firewood was very nice.
No electricity without a warm shower was unfortunate as there was no sun to warm the solar shower that was available.
Outhouse was clean.

Weekend Trip to Paper Mill Pines Glamping Getaway

My boyfriend, Carlos, and I stayed at Pocono Pines Bed & Breakfast’s glamping site, and it exceeded every expectation we had.
I’m not a camping girl, but after seeing photos online, I had to experience glamping! The site is even more beautiful in person! peaceful, magical, and surrounded by nature. Reminded me of the twilight movie!
Donna was incredibly kind and accommodating, even when we decided at the last minute to bring our kids for the first night. When we arrived, Al and her daughter, Jess were already setting up our extra tent, helped transport our belongings with the 4x4, and made us feel completely at home.
Every detail was thoughtfully planned; from the cozy décor and comfortable bed to the fire starters, extra blankets, guest binder, journal, bug spray, and even complimentary firewood. We stayed warm! You can truly tell this place was created with love and care!
Our kids had the best time making s’mores, catching frogs, climbing trees, and being completely unplugged from electronics. One night, Carlos and I even slept under the stars by the campfire and it became one of the most romantic nights we’ve ever shared. Al, the cot was a great idea, ty!
This wasn’t just a place to stay! It was an experience we’ll always remember. Thank you, Donna, Al, and Jess, for your incredible hospitality and for sharing your little slice of heaven with us. We’ll absolutely be back! ❤️

We loved staying with Adam and Karen for our first Hipcamp experience My husband and I have been camping together for 24 years(tent and camper) and decided to upgrade to the ‘Glamping’ add on. Adam had everything set up exactly the way that we would have set it up for ourselves. It was picture perfect and we were able to use the wagon provided to bring what we brought up in one trip! We did run in to Adam later that day and had a wonderful conversation. He was extremely accommodating, answered our questions and also respected our time, privacy and space for the remainder of our stay. The outhouse and shower areas were clean and easily accessible. We would recommend site #2 for any couple looking to have a peaceful adventure together. Thanks so much Adam and Karen. We will definitely be back to relax and rejuvenate soon!

We had a wonderful glamping stay! The site is well-kept, serene, and surrounded by woods, offering a peaceful escape into nature with all the necessary amenities provided.
What we loved most was the balance: it gives you that secluded, tucked-away feeling amidst the trees, but because the hosts are close by, it feels completely safe and approachable (you can hear a road nearby, but it didn't take away from the relaxing woods vibe at all).
Alan was an incredible host—so welcoming and always ready to help whenever we needed anything. It was also a fantastic spot for our family: both our toddler and our dog had an absolute blast! We definitely recommend staying here.

21 ft travel trailer
We pulled up to the barn with our trailer and had the warmest welcome from the flock. Sweetest chicks will come right up to you but weren’t a menace. Pretty farm views with sunrise and sunset. We parked our 21’ trailer by the barn, nice level site. The pond was accessible by foot and is quite a special spot - also camping available by the pond for tents and smaller rigs. Our host Kathleen was friendly & hospitable offering us anything we needed as well as suggesting various restaurants and local activities.
Take the hike to Rickett’s Glen State Park- beautiful spot & explore the covered bridges nearby.

Camp Dietrich is the perfect little getaway! The owners have truly thought of everything, from Check Point Shed to the way the sites were carefully curated to provide a truly memorable experience. Our kids were ready to visit the waterfalls as soon as we were settled in. The hike was fun and very scenic. Bring trekking poles or a walking stick if you're not comfortable with a little rough terrain. After the hike and taking a swim by the waterfalls, we went up to the playground that is where you will find the zipline. You have two options for cooking available to you: either the propane grill or over the fire pit with the grill grate. We opted for the grill, but enjoyed the obligatory s'mores after making dinner. It did get pretty chilly at night and early in the morning despite being the middle of summer, so keep that in mind and pack accordingly. Overall, you can't go wrong staying here; it's close to the historic downtown of Jim Thorpe, and there are plenty of activities to do if you decide to explore outside of Bear Creek. We're looking forward to returning soon. Thank you, Scott and Christina!
