We are an active dairy farm in the rolling hills of Berks County, Pennsylvania. We take awesome sunrises and great star gazing for granted around here! Campsites are a 10-minute walk from the farm where all are welcome to interact with the animals or take a try at milking a cow. After all, you need milk and cream for breakfast!Its a ten minute drive to Blue Marsh Lake for Fishing, Biking, Hiking and Swimming. Its a 5 minute walk up to our Dairy Farm where you can visit with the cows and baby calves. There is a very nice view of Weiser's mountain. This site doesn't have any extra shelter and is only for tent camping.  There is a total of 4 listings in the one acre courtyard. The water source is shared by other people and also the port potty is shared with courtyard #3.

Weekend Trip to Dj Duncan's Piece of Heaven

Absolutely beautiful dairy farm and we had the opportunity to take an impromptu hay ride with corn maze employees to check out the Christmas Village which amazing. “A little slice of Americana”. DJ and Loretta were super nice and let us explore the whole farm, talk to the all the cows. Even made a new friend Benny the cat who hung out with us at our campfire. 10/10 We will definitely be back!!!

The camping spot itself is so nice! The views are amazing! They even have the sweetest little sets of lights going from the driveway up to the camping spot. Unfortunately, I got stuck trying to pull my camper up their street. But the host David was amazing and he went and got my camper and brought it all the way up to the campsite for me! I couldn't have asked for any more hospitality.!!

This was an unbelievable spot. The scenery was gorgeous and the site was a dream- you’re at the top of a hill with stunning views but the clearing itself is flat and level with full hookup facilities, fire pit, picnic table and even trash & recycling bins onsite. We arrived after dark but David’s instructions were clear and the path is well defined with small solar lights that were bright enough to indicate the driveway but dim enough that we could still see all the stars at night. We loved visiting the dairy farm down the road and watching the birds in the trees surrounding the site. It felt like a private piece of paradise. Thank you for sharing your land with us!

Wonderful property and host! We had a fabulous stay for a long weekend and loved the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. David was very informative with his directions and was so welcoming. We loved having electric and water on site and the campsite was very clean and having trash bins was a nice touch. We enjoyed watching the hot air balloons and the location was convenient to visit local breweries and Valley Forge Historical Park. We will definitely be back!

This might be the most beautiful HipCamp spot I’ve stayed at so far! It’s secluded but also nicely centrally located! Having a full hookup was also so nice, the sewage connection was a tad higher than my RV connection so it took a little longer when we did dump but so convenient nonetheless! I’d 100% stay again!

Craigs spot was just what we needed. They were very accommodating for us, & turns out closer to our work in the area. We did have a blackout with the 30amp (had the adapter), but within 20 minutes they had it fixed & he surprised us with an update to a 50amp the very next day! highly recommend! loved the feeling of seclusion & their ponies/donkey!

We had such a wonderful stay at Hardscrabble Hill! The property is absolutely beautiful, the evenings were especially lovely and the night sky was filled with stars. It's a terrific place to make s'mores over a bonfire. The campsite is also in a great location, fairly close to both Philadelphia and Lancaster, which made it really convenient. David, the host, was fantastic! He was extremely helpful and answered all of our questions quickly and kindly. His hospitality made our stay even better. We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be back. Highly recommend Hardscrabble Hill to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway!

We pulled our little Aliner to the top of the hill to an amazing campsite. Full hookups were available with a picnic table and fire ring. We had the place to ourselves, enjoying the breathtaking view. Highly recommend!
