Loved the property, Mary was incredibly kind and helpful. The pond was enjoyable and the the grass/trees twinkled with lightning bugs.

If you're looking for a peaceful space for camping, this is it! Pond Site #2 is basically a large field, slightly sloping but with some flat spots, with a view of woods, fields, a pond, old rustic and charming barn, and a house in the distance. There is a firepit, not too big, but it was totally fine. Mary was super sweet and helpful and brought us firewood on the first night. Me and my 2 friends really enjoyed ourselves. We thought about doing a nearby hike at Rocks State Park but it rained and we decided to be lazy and stay in our tents. If you're looking for a really peaceful, well-kept area of tent or RV camping, this is it! We really had nothing bad to say.

Our camp was great and our son loved playing around the pond and on the big rock with his cars. We had a little confusion on the fire pit situation but that was quickly cleared up. The spot next to the pond wasn’t fully level but we were able to make it work by shifting the truck around (we use a rooftop tent). Our son asked when we would be coming back.

Very nice and shady spot. It rained during our visit so we didn't get much pond usage, but thoroughly enjoyed playing in the area surrounding our site. Mary was very responsive and helpful answering all of our questions.

I was able to tent camp overnight with my dog. Mary was very helpful and the location is so pretty and relaxing. It was easy to find a level area for the tent. I cut my trip short due to weather but even with all the rain the ground stayed “dry”. I hope to go back soon to enjoy more of the area.

Amazingly.peaceful spot, long driveway away from mostly everything. Slept soooo good hearing the frogs and stuff, even with our cold weather! Mary is also amazing, helped our neighbors stay further away from our camp while we were there AND helped us when we fell into a bind and needed a camp spot last minute and she posted us up at the onion road place instead. It was nice, definitely nowhere near as peaceful as the yard with the fire pit but we could deal for a few days and she let us stay there unexpectedly so that was amazing.

My son and I really enjoyed our camping trip at Fawn View. The host are very hospitable and friendly. The campsites were clean and the addition of a working restroom with a utility sink and hot water was very convenient and helpful. I would recommend this camp to anyone and already have.

We had the whole place to ourselves, and were able to catch a few fish! Had to switch from our originally booked site due to wet ground, but our site on arrival was great!

We loved camping at the pond! Mary was a lovely host. The spot was very peaceful and directions were clear. We saw two herons in the morning. We also enjoyed the ice cream made on the farm. Definitely plan to return.

We absolutely loved our overnight on Mary's land Friday night. We were lucky enough to be the only campers. We typically camp primitive style but I needed reliable cell service due to being on medical call. My kiddos had a blast playing with the neighbor boys and are asking to go back next weekend:) The only thing that I am not sure about is how close the sites are together if all three sites are full since this was not our experience. We will definitely be back, thank you Mary!

We just got back today from 2 nights at site 1. It was a peaceful stay on a great property. Fishing the lake we caught fish each day. Enjoyed the shade in the tree-line in the afternoon. Just a great trip

Fawn View Farm is a beautiful property tucked away at the end of a long drive, far from any road noise. We stayed at Pond Site #2, which was wonderfully private—set back among the trees but with direct access to the pond. The site itself is spacious and mostly flat; we were tent camping but had plenty of room to pull our car in and turn it around without trouble. What stood out most was the peaceful setting and how thoughtfully the site is laid out. It felt secluded yet comfortable. Mary was a fantastic host—very friendly and readily available if we needed anything, which made our stay even better. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet, scenic, and private camping experience.

Stargazing was so incredible here! We had a great time. Mary was a great host, with great directions to get to our site. She asked us what our interest were so she could recommend places to go. We went to a great antique store in town that you could spend hours in. FYI, if you want to visit forge falls off of fallen branch road you have to make reservations if you want to go during the weekends in peak season.

I had an amazing time tent camping on Mary’s land! The campsite was absolutely beautiful, with stunning views and a great fishing pond. Mary helped me find the campsite, and she was incredibly helpful during the entire visit. My 12-year-old son had a great time fishing, and we can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful hidden gem of a campsite. Tucked away in in a peaceful in a peaceful and secluded nook of the farm. Small stand of young oak trees at the edge of a large field provide ample shade. Also great spot for hammock(s). The ground was flat and soft, but not muddy or wet. All 12 stakes of our large car camping tent went in perfectly on the first try, issues with roots or rocks. We only stayed for one night and therefore didn’t get the chance to hang out by the pond, but it looked wonderful, even had a small dock. Already recommended this place to our dear friends who have been looking for good place to take their two small kids camping and fishing for the first time. This seems like it would be ideal spot for that!

My best friend & I tent camped at the pond site, such a perfect environment for camping, amazing indoor place to hang out that has outlets & games. If you're looking for somewhere to camp, fish, have a bonfire & amazing time. This is THE place! Will definitely be coming back again!

My grandson and I had an amazing visit to the farm. Mary greeted us and made a few suggestions for local entertainment. Sitting on the dock with a fishing pole was relaxing. Rocks state park water falls was by far our favorite local site. If you are looking for a quiet country setting stay here!

Mary's place is tucked away amidst the rolling hills of rural northern Maryland, and it is truly a beautiful and peaceful place. There's a lot of space to camp and roam, and it's within a short drive of three local breweries, a state park, and beautiful Deer Creek, where we went tubing. It's a great home base or single destination. Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly, and we will definitely be returning. Thank you so much, Mary!

We chose Pond site #2 because we wanted to spend our entire camping trip fishing, and this site did not disappoint. When the weather was nice the fish were consistently biting, but the bass stopped when the temperature dropped below 75. Altogether, My two friends and I caught 46 bass and 80+ sunfish. The host was nice and accommodating. The location was semi secluded, with a house and apartment a couple hundred yards away, but for the most part it felt like you’re camping in the woods. If I had to complain about anything it would probably be that the weeds in the pond were a little out of control in some areas, but the host mentioned that they’re looking to fix that. And I’m definitely looking forward to our next stay here!

Amazing location, located right off the pond with plenty of flat options for a tent. Take your choice from shade or open sun. Short walk to a flushing bathroom with a large sink of hot & cold water. Mary was welcoming and made us feel at home. Plenty to do with two young kids and pups!
