The White Squirrel Properties include a cabin, rental pavilion and camp site. The camp site sits at the top of a hill and provides a secluded flat site to pitch your tent or park your van/truck camper/truck top tent.
You will have this space to yourself.
The view is breathtaking - you have a gorgeous view of the Susquehanna River, numerous sets of mountain ranges, and you are surrounded by beautiful fields. There is a rustic picnic table and a more modern high top table set with an umbrella, for your use. We have also added 4 hammock chairs that you can relax in while enjoying a glass of wine. There is a wooden platform with a small structure on it. You can stand underneath the platform and it can provide some shelter, if needed. (The structure is being renovated for a new experience next summer.)
The pavilion is a short walk and has 2 bathrooms, a shower, and a kitchen. **The kitchen is only available if the pavilion is not being rented**. There is an additional fee to rent the kitchen. If you are interested, please message me after booking. This can be added at checkout. Deer come out nightly on this peaceful property. You won’t be disappointed.

Enjoy the private back acre of our 2-acre parcel. RV parking is separated from the main house by a barn and Morton building. Set up camp overlooking what used to be a grassy yard, but is now a walkable wildflower meadow. Enjoy the meadow paths and entire property's yard. Pets are welcome, but must be leashed at all times - our dog is friendly, but will also be leashed when outside.
The house and barn were built in the late 1800s and are currently being restored. There will be no construction activity during your stay, but there may be assorted projects in process visible near buildings. Please do not enter buildings unless accompanied by a property owner.
Many restaurants, breweries, distilleries and parks are just minutes away in Bellefonte! When visiting them, we recommend going straight out of our driveway onto Clemens instead of turning right onto Valentine Hill. Valentine has tight turns that are a challenge to navigate in an RV or with a trailer.

This was our first experience with Hipcamp and what a home run!! We happened to be a group of aviation enthusiasts but even if you are not Bill was so welcoming and friendly, and what a spot!! Beautiful property and great dinner down town. Highly recommend and will be back with the plane!!

Audra was really responsive and easy to contact.
The view is amazing and the site is really well maintained with outdoor furnitures and a little firepit. There is a little house with a terrace and they're building a bathroom and a shower under. It will be perfect for the summer when finish.
We were able to use the restroom and shower (hot water, a luxe ☺️) at the pavilion.m down the hill.
We definitely will come back in the summer to enjoy everything!

Ben was wonderful! When my van got stuck in the mud on a nearby property on the way to camp, he personally drove a backhoe over and pulled me out. Then he led me to the campsite AND parked my trailer for me. I can't put into words how thankful I was for his help. Above and beyond doesn't cut it. And the campsite it beautiful!

Great communication beforehand with the host allowed for an easy setup. Water/electricity/sewage all worked as advertised. Beautiful land; my dog enjoyed the walks! Full coverage if you’re with T-Mobile. Would recommend to anyone who wants a quiet getaway. Plan to return in the future.

Campsite was an awesome experience for our trip. I went with three of my bros, it ended up being a perfect spot for a weekend. campsite was clean and well-kept when we arrived. plenty of space for all three of our trucks. We brought three different tents, - no shortage of good spots. We spent a lot of time just hanging around the site, setting up some great fires, cooking steaks, played cornhole. really appreciated the detailed directions provided beforehand

We enjoyed our stay. Fire on the rocks trail run brought us to the area needing a place to stay. We found all we need at pear tree cove and some much needed peace and quiet! Our pup loved to hangout in the grass. This was his first time in the camper and I couldn't have picked a better place. We would love to come back next time we are in the area!

Lovely spot overlooking the river. The road is between the river and the campsite, but there’s so little traffic.
A great level spot with gravel, electricity, fire pit, and a table.
Yes, the train is in the distance, bring your earplugs if you’re a light sleeper, I am not and I slept through the night just fine. It’s quite lovely to hear the train and see it!
