Enjoy the private back acre of our 2-acre parcel. RV parking is separated from the main house by a barn and Morton building. Set up camp overlooking what used to be a grassy yard, but is now a walkable wildflower meadow. Enjoy the meadow paths and entire property's yard. Pets are welcome, but must be leashed at all times - our dog is friendly, but will also be leashed when outside. The house and barn were built in the late 1800s and are currently being restored. There will be no construction activity during your stay, but there may be assorted projects in process visible near buildings. Please do not enter buildings unless accompanied by a property owner. Many restaurants, breweries, distilleries and parks are just minutes away in Bellefonte! When visiting them, we recommend going straight out of our driveway onto Clemens instead of turning right onto Valentine Hill. Valentine has tight turns that are a challenge to navigate in an RV or with a trailer.

Site 1 - Meadow Stairs
Amanda was a pleasure to deal with, she was very responsive, incredibly helpful and understanding. I had plans to spend the night at Meadow View, as a stopover on my way home from picking up our new camper, but due to an issue with the camper not being ready, unfortunately had to cancel. I was very frustrated with my dealer and had to drive several hours back home, Amanda made the cancellation process seamless and took care of everything. Looking forward to making the trip out to Meadow View soon!

Great place to stay after a football game Amanda was a great hostess, came out to meet us in the rain. The gardens were lovely even in the fall. What a beautiful area. Thanks again for having us!

Site 2 - Meadow View
We camped in a tent. Despite arriving at night in the rain, the site was easy to find. We woke up to a beautiful bucolic meadow in the foreground and amber waves of grain in the background. Amanda was easy to deal with and provided great guidance.

Floral Meadow Oasis
We've frequented Matt and Amanda's place multiple times, and it's delightful to witness their continuous improvements. Recently, they've enriched their meadow with a broader seed mix, promising a more diverse floral display, especially during peak season in June. A newly-constructed pergola, thoughtfully shaded, now graces the meadow. It's an ideal relaxation spot, seamlessly blending with the blooms. The furnishings, including the standout hammock chair, are impeccable. Other additions comprise a geometric dome climber, a shaded swing, and a vintage bench nestled under a sprawling shade tree. Geographically, their property boasts proximity to downtown Bellefonte just a 3-minute drive away, known for its charming architecture, tasty eateries, unique stores, and stunning parks. It's also conveniently close to State College and Beaver Stadium, making it a prime spot for PSU aficionados.

Lovely Hiatus from the Daily Grind!
Upon arrival, we met up with Amanda, her husband, Matt, and their sweet pup EV. After they answered a couple of questions, we drove to our site. As we proceeded to the end of their driveway, the rolling hills of cornfields gave way to a beautiful meadow, filled with wildflowers. Nature also provided us with two double rainbows during our stay! Our two Siberian Huskies thoroughly enjoyed sniffing around their property after the scents of groundhogs, rabbits, squirrels, and other visiting critters. A nice, shaded bench on the outskirts of their property provides a respite from the summer sun's heat. We also picked some blackberries during our walks. This site is a very short 14-minute cruise away from PSU. We wanted to visit the PSU Berkey Creamery while in the area. We HIGHLY recommend it. I don't eat much ice cream now, due to stomach issues, but this ice cream was worth the discomfort! Also, a few minutes away is the town of Bellefonte which is an architecturally stellar little town with a river traversing through it. Lots of shops and restaurants abound. Check out URBN Flavorhouse if you're craving a milkshake with a side of wild-game burger and fries. You will NOT be disappointed. Overall, we loved our stay here and 100% will be back again for a visit! If you're in the area and need somewhere to park for a PSU game or are just looking for a quaint, secluded, and quiet place to park your camper, this should be tops on the list!
