The active farm lays along the lazy Marsh Creek not far from where it collides with the mighty Bald Eagle. Campsites are spaced out along the creek, in the fields, and on the mountain. Fish on any of the three streams, relax by the water or enjoy view of the cattle and wildlife. Bald Eagle State Park, State College, and Lock Heaven are a short distance away.

#1 Creekside Owl Cove

RV/tent site · Sleeps 8 · Vehicles under 21 ft
A great little camping spot not far from the township road, and only 3 miles from beautiful Bald Eagle State Park.  This site offers a relaxing area to listen to the babbling Marsh Creek, read, bbq, or fish the stocked stream and enjoy the shade.  A half mile of fishing begins just steps from your tent. Tent camp, or park your van and truck campers, on our small, active farm. Relax next to beautiful Marsh Creek, and fish for trout. Spot the nearby nesting bald eagles and deer. Bike around the area. Walk for a quarter mile to get a homestyle meal or ice cream at the local restaurant. Or kayak down the neighboring Bald Eagle creek (a quarter mile away). We're just 5 minutes from the entrance to the Foster J. Sayers dam and park, where you can hike, bike, boat, kayak, and more, but come back to your own site right next to the creek. In the morning cook yourself a hardy steak and eggs breakfast with our farm raised produce.  We recommend over the fire in a cast iron pan!

#4 Corn Field by Marsh Creek

94%
(18)
RV/tent site · Sleeps 5 · Vehicles under 20 ft
All the benefits of camping near the creek and all the fun of hiding in a corn field. A gentle walk to the back of one of our fields this spot provides privacy and an up close look at a corn field.  It's also a great little spot to use as a base camp while checking out the local fishing or Bald Eagle State Park.  The corn is planted in May and tallest between July and October after that it is harvested before snow fall. This site is accessible to 2wd vehicles but if we get a lot of rain 4wd is recommended because the dirt road becomes too muddy to travel with 2wd. If you have 2wd and we are expecting rain I encourage our campers to park on the gravel road and walk in. It's a pleasant walk.
