Learn more about this land: One mile from I-5, you may pitch your tent or park your van in a meadow near some fir trees bordering Elk Creek. Feel the restful flow of water bringing tranquility. Follow hiking trails along the creek, through groves of trees, or play in the singing creek. There is another hiking trail to another portion of the creek to the right of the road that passes by the barn. A sign on an oak tree indicates the edge of the large mowed meadow that will take you to another sign for the trail to the creek. When entering the property at the county road, you’ll see a big Century Farm sign on the left at the driveway entrance. Continue past a brown machine shed. You will see two apple trees on your left. Just beyond the apple trees is a sign, on a big fir tree. This sign points to the direction of the campsite. Enjoy excellent, year-round fishing, kayaking, and swimming right from your private and secluded campsite. Our property is located between 2 boat ramps which makes kayak, canoe, or raft floats a breeze. The property features beautiful, mature trees, fun bedrock to explore, and an amazing swimming hole (in the summertime when the river level is low enough). Sit at the river’s edge and enjoy the sounds of the water. Be sure to watch for soaring Eagles, jumping fish, and the occasional mink on the opposite river's edge! There are multiple wineries nearby and lots of hiking trails within a short drive. There is no cell service at the property - please plan ahead and check local burn ban policies before you go. The "owners area" camping spot is a large, graveled, gated area that has trees between the road and parking. There is a port-a-potty for use in the summer months (Mid April through Labor Day Weekend - please message us for exact dates if you need it and are booking outside this window). There is also a fire pit on the lower level overlooking the river, a hidden tree swing, and deck with picnic table. PLEASE NOTE: This is not a fully manicured campground. There are bushes and grasses that grow year round. We do our best to keep things trimmed and accessible. Sometimes (especially in the spring) things grow more quickly than we can get to them. Please don't expect this to be a perfectly mowed, backyard-type site.

Learn more about this land: One mile from I-5, you may pitch your tent or park your van in a meadow near some fir trees bordering Elk Creek. Feel the restful flow of water bringing tranquility. Follow hiking trails along the creek, through groves of trees, or play in the singing creek. There is another hiking trail to another portion of the creek to the right of the road that passes by the barn. A sign on an oak tree indicates the edge of the large mowed meadow that will take you to another sign for the trail to the creek. Welcome to the river! This beautiful 10 acre property is located on the scenic main Umpqua River. Enjoy excellent, year-round fishing, kayaking, and swimming right from your private and secluded campsite. Our property is located between 2 boat ramps which makes kayak, canoe, or raft floats a breeze. The property features beautiful, mature trees, fun bedrock to explore, and an amazing swimming hole (in the summertime when the river level is low enough). Sit at the river’s edge and enjoy the sounds of the water. Be sure to watch for soaring Eagles, jumping fish, and the occasional mink on the opposite river's edge! There are multiple wineries nearby and lots of hiking trails within a short drive. There is no cell service at the property - please plan ahead and check local burn ban policies before you go. The "owners area" camping spot is a large, graveled, gated area that has trees between the road and parking. There is a port-a-potty for use in the summer months (Mid April through Labor Day Weekend - please message us for exact dates if you need it and are booking outside this window). There is also a fire pit on the lower level overlooking the river, a hidden tree swing, and deck with picnic table. PLEASE NOTE: This is not a fully manicured campground. There are bushes and grasses that grow year round. We do our best to keep things trimmed and accessible. Sometimes (especially in the spring) things grow more quickly than we can get to them. Please don't expect this to be a perfectly mowed, backyard-type site.

We absolutely love Cathryn's beautiful hipcamp on the Umpqua River in Roseburg. We went in late October so the weather was chilly and it rained a lot but we made the best of it. We had the entire campground to ourselves and just a few steps away from the most breathtaking river scene. My son enjoyed fishing and saw many huge salmon but unfortunately he didn't catch one next time perhaps. We have a 31ft RV and our friends had a smaller RV there are no hookups but that's how we love and enjoy camping. It is very peaceful with wild turkeys that ventured into our camps. There are no strict rules on dogs off leash which are pups love to explore and run around and frolic in the water it was amazing. Cathryn came by once to introduce herself and to answer any questions that we may have had. She also mentioned that they are going to do some improvements to the camp to get down to the water more accessible. Its all a work in process but it's beautiful just the way it is. We can't wait to book for the summer because there are many deep pools there to swim in. The only suggestion that I would have would be to move the front gate further down so that when you pull out of the gate you're not on the main road where it could potentially be dangerous. To be honest I really don't want to say too many great things about this place lol because we would love it to remain a secret 😜 It is definitely in the books for springtime. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with us.
