Our mountain property sits at the end of a private residential road, close to I-5 and downtown Cottage Grove. Alongside the hosts’ house, there are a few other residents on the property. The area is rich with recreation opportunities, including biking, hiking, canoeing, boating, mushroom hunting, swimming, hunting and fishing, gold panning, rockhounding, and wildlife viewing. Eugene and the University of Oregon campus (including Hayward Field) are just 30 minutes away. It’s about an hour to the Oregon Coast, 15 minutes to Cottage Grove Lake, and 30 minutes to Dorena Reservoir. Umpqua National Forest is also nearby, with stunning waterfalls such as Spirit, Moon, and Pinard Falls only 45 minutes to an hour away. The Cottage Grove area is known for its covered bridges, mining history, and the scenic Row River Trail bike path. We are located in Southern Oregon. We are off exit 88 on Interstate 5 in Azalea, Oregon. This is a great location if you are traveling or road tripping to any destination along the West Coast of North America! Take a day trip to Crater Lake and Diamond Lake. We also recommend that you visit the Galesville reservoir about 5 minutes up the road. The yurt has a queen sized loft bed with cotton sheets, a warm cotton comforter with duvet cover, a woodstove, and a folding mattress. You are also welcome to bring your own sleeping gear. *LEAVE NO TRACE, just as you would when camping = please pack out your own trash* There is a wood stove for the winter months, a solar powered refrigerator, a propane stove and oven, along with a sink, and kitchen countertop space. Basic kitchen ware like: utensils, plates, bowls, Italian stove top coffee maker, off grid blender, cooking pots, pans, etc. We provide plant based dish soap, hand soaps, and shampoo. There is a composting toilet and outdoor shower with a propane water heater for warm showers. Please bring your own bath towel. Please confirm you can walk up a staircase. There is a picnic table in the pasture, with several wooden log type chairs. There is internet available on the picnic table by the main house front deck. Connect to the internet via ethernet. Can I just say wow! Dew Valley Ranch is one of the best glamping experiences I've ever had. The yurt, the bed and heating blanket. Shower towels, hot tub towels, and a thing to warm water, a fire pit and a super cutely decorated out door seating and eating area. We had a shower at our site with its own water heater, and a private bathroom. We had access to a hot tub, a sauna, and so many hikes. They have super cute goats, chickens, and a horse on the property that love people. I would highly recommend this ranch. And can't wait to stay again!!

This Hipcamp exceeded our expectations. Super cute and magical. We enjoyed the sauna and hot tub, plus the outdoor showers were nice and warm. The Hobbit House really felt straight out of the shire, and the lights at night made it super cozy. You can tell the hosts put a lot of thought into the place as well as its amenities. 10/10 would stay again

What an incredible spot, do yourself a favor and check out the hobbit house with its delightful skylight to stargaze or wake up to the trees surrounding you! Wasn’t expecting own bathroom or for it to be so secluded. Lovely breakfast as well.

My partner and I truly loved everything about our stay on this beautiful farm. Andrew and Lale were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and their cat Bella and the sweetest toddler Aslan made us feel right at home. We enjoyed exploring the nearby reservoir and soaking in the peaceful nature—Cow Creek is just across the road! The view was amazing, and I especially loved the beautiful sunflowers blooming all around this sweet little farm :) The yurt was cozy and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, from kitchen appliances and a small fridge to a backup battery for power. The king-size bed was super comfortable, and everything was spotless. We really appreciated the farm’s sustainable lifestyle—zero-waste practices, composting, and a clean, thoughtful approach to living. We definitely look forward to coming back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Dew Valley Ranch. The Hobbit house was adorable, comfortable, clean, and unique. The entire ranch was clean and well cared for. Heather and Nathan obviously paid a lot of attention to detail in setting up the campsites. We enjoyed walking around and seeing all the unique spots available. There was also a fabulous breakfast option. We hope to visit again soon.

We loved staying at the yurt! It was the perfect retreat to disconnect and relax. Andrew was very helpful with explaining how everything works and we didn’t feel like we were lacking anything while staying there. Nearby hikes and creek are beautiful, the yurt was cozy, and the shower was private while still letting you watch banana slugs and listen to the robins sing. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The Huckleberry was so charming! Quiet, peaceful and relaxing stay with a hot tub, and 2 fire pit options. The host’s were so kind and attentive. Highly recommend this place and hope to return in the future.

I had a great time staying in the yurt! It was so cozy with everything you need, and super affordable. The outdoor shower and ethernet cables were both really nice touches, being able to take a hot shower and check my emails was appreciated. I saw the most beautiful sunset over the mountains from the porch of the yurt, and at night there were so many stars. The creek across the street was fun to check out as well.

We had an incredible time staying at the yurt! Andrew was very friendly when he greeted us at the gate and showed us around. We enjoyed exploring the reservoir and river area and spending time in the cozy, but spacious yurt. The bed was very comfortable, the lights were gorgeous and we loved the fire stove. We were nice and warm in the yurt listening to the rain and frogs.
