Our property was founded in 1919 and has a huge array of history. Learn more about this land: We are a working farm nestled within the tree line here in Oregon. We have a private pond, gorgeous views and quiet days. My girlfriend Christina and I have worked very hard to get our property where it’s at today and hope to share it with those who appreciate it. Ask us about fresh produce for sale as well as eggs / duck eggs. There are eating tours with a generosity option to our tour guide $. We also sell local wines and have beer on tap for extra. Please check in no later than 6. If you’re interested we have hiking camp sites available a little further into our wilderness, just let us know if you’re interested. Be aware we have two dogs who are very friendly, their just barkers.

We loved camping here. It's the world's best combination: quiet camping spot, private beach, a pond to swim in, a fire pit, an outdoor kitchen. It's like being in a ressort with all the amenities you need by yourself with the sounds of ducks, chicken, goats, pigs, frogs... giving a concert. If you want to visit paradise, go here! Our kids loved petting the dogs, bunnies and goats. They also got to find eggs and pick raspberries and potatoes and onions. It's the best hidden gem in the world!!

Great experience-we WILL be back!
We LOVED camping at Grateful Valley Farm! We went twice-once for a quick overnight on our way from So Cal to WA & then again for 2 nights on our way back home. So beautiful & lots of places to camp as we were the only ones there. Steve gave us a great tour & was super helpful w all our questions (even helped us out by schlepping all our gear to our site w the trailer on his ATV). Pros: hot water, soap & sinks in various places on the property; Beach & pond; electricity avail; helpful, kind welcoming hosts; quiet, rural area; farm animals & gardens; my spouse liked the honor bar beer; quick responses from host on hipcamp Cons: wasn’t aware that host wouldn’t be there at all on our 2nd stay & it was just a bit awkward as we didn’t know how to communicate w Alex the caretaker except to wait for him to appear (this is a minor issue that could easily be resolved w preparation & communication)-to his credit, Alex was very helpful & kind when we did ask him for something; having a flush toilet & hot shower were SO AWESOME (especially w all the rain on our first trip), but bathroom def needed some TLC- needed to ask for the trash to be emptied (and it was) & I chose to sweep the floor & wash the rug so I felt more comfortable on our 2nd trip. Still, would recommend flip flops for the camp bathroom. For me, these weren’t deal breakers/didn’t ruin our trip & we worked around them. We WILL come back! Oh, and we bought some honey & eggs upon leaving (Steve has an apiary & chickens!)

Camping on a beautiful farm!
If you want to be out in nature, in a gorgeous spot in rural OR w some great amenities (pond, “beach”, camp bathroom, hot water for dishwashing and showers, etc etc) AND be welcomed by a great host (or prop mgr when host is at work), then this is the spot! Steve and Christina have done such a nice job of creating a welcoming and beautiful place to camp. We were there twice-1 night on our way No (from So Cal to Vashon Is, WA) & 2 nites on our way So. Next time we go up to the PNW, we will plan to spend more time here. We can’t wait to go back! Thx Steve and Christina and Alex!

Serene environment
Great place! It’s private yet I felt very safe. Steve/Christina made this place in a little paradise. I swam in the pond, had (chilled) wine at the bar, and then sat peacefully by my tent. Lovely day!

We really enjoyed our stay, especially the sand area around the bar (says the 5-year old) and the opportunity to hang out and relax around the property! It appears Steve has put a lot of time and effort into making this a great spot and it shows! We will be back!

Beautiful and Fun
We had a wonderful time for our very first camping trip, we wished we could have stayed longer. The property is beautiful, where we had our tent was quiet and peaceful with beautiful views. You could hear an occasional dog bark, but it's just the sweet boy protecting his pig and goat buddies. The animals were a huge hit with my girls and it was fun to explore different areas of the property to find different animals. We spent a small amount at the super fun pond/beach area and hope to visit again to actually swim in the pond. If you are hauling in a bunch of stuff, I'd recommend a wagon, it's a small uphill trek to the camping spot. We definitely look forward to visiting again and taking advantage of everything we couldn't get too. Thank you to Bryton, the groundskeeper, for your hospitality and your adorable dog Nova.

Beautiful off the beaten path location, he has built a tranquil lil getaway. Steve accommodated our last min reservation with clear and caring communication. Bryton the grounds keeper is kind, knowledgeable and helpful with all types of local info. The garden is abundant and my lil guys 6 & 2 loved picking some raspberries for our ride home 😁💚☯️

What a find!
A place to stay in the area was hard to find and Steve was a saint by accommodating us. Thank you! I'm so happy we found this gem! Steve and his girlfriend were so lovely to show us around their farm. They even made us fresh salsa from the garden. We got to enjoy the beach by the pond and poured ourselves a beer on tap. Loved hearing all the animals hootin' and hollering. So fun. Will definitely be back.

A gem.
An absolute gem of a spot. We are so happy we found it! The honor system local beer at the lovely pond side beach really kicked it up a notch. So lovely to see the chickens and ducks and goats (from afar) and felt very welcomed. We’ll be back!

Good times, peaceful setting.
Beautiful land, super friendly and generous hosts (owner / property manager). We had kids with us and they loved collecting eggs from the chicken, strolling the gardens, checking out the piglets. The camping areas are a park like and shaded setting. Across the street is a creek which is great for exploring with the kids. You do need to pack your things uphill where you set the tents up, probably a hundred yards. Shade is limited at "the beach" so we were happy we had a tarp to string up. An umbrella would work. We camped with another family and it was unanimous that we'd like to return.

A Corner of Paradise
Steve was incredible. He’s cultivated a paradise. He helped us set up our tent in the pouring rain, gave us tours, let my toddler gather eggs, and much more. Great place, great host, will return!
