We are currently working on a big outdoor kitchen, where we will have pizza ovens, canning facilities and a beautiful place to gather in the woods. Again still a work in progress. Some spots have fire pits. Again depending on time of year and heat conditions. Because we have so many trees, we have to make sure no fires are to close to any tree's. Again, please Ask before burning. No random burning unless oked by land owners. Thank you for for helping to keep everyone safe.   We have numerous ponds throughout the property and swimming holes. We turned the 4 stall barn into a music room where we gather and host events. Soon we will have designated Spots, equipped with fire rings. We will have teepees, tree houses, glamping tents. As of now we have room for numerous big groups spots for tent camping. Soon we’ll have plug-ins for RV and fifth wheel travelers.  We have alot of space to camp and still have your privacy. Currently we have an out house and hose shower and you can also use the potty Under the Star's. We provide Toilet paper and try to keep stocked but, just ask if outhouses are out of paper. Just outside of McMinnville you will be welcomed to an area of towering 60ft Ash, Alder, Maple, Oak and both Grand and Douglas Fir. The property is very secluded at the end of a wooded valley and only a few camping spots are opened. The tree canopy keeps the underbrush in check while providing the tree shadows you will seek for Bird watching, local animal life and quality of camping not found outside of the open camping area in the middle of the largest state park. Turning at the Dairy Queen on 99 before sheridan and 10 minutes later you are at the access drive, then to the right of the split on a 1/4 mile shared wooded drive is an open gate, a few trees and an entrance to an old logging road to take you down to a small grove with seclusion and gentle breezes coming from up the year round spring fed stream nearby. The road leads on down to the crossing being restored, some natural photo options and nothing but native oregon plants and shaded grass for a picnic. 2 hiking options are avalible, and one can be guided from there and at the far back end of the property is a barn and a few animals if they want to learn about small animals. The property is very secluded at the end of a wooded valley It is 21 acre forested lot behind a 20 acre forested lot in front and 3 100's acre parcelsaround it without direct view into the camping spots ( minus sunrise oaks that has one side exposed 100 feet away for max sun).

This magical property is conveniently located 5 miles north of Florence and directly on Hwy 101, approximately 3/4 of a mile from the ocean. This is a large private site that is surrounded by old growth timber and teaming with flora and fauna. Campers are encouraged to explore, but be aware, this property is wild.. and encounters with wildlife are common. Beyond the adventuring that can be done on the property, Baker Beach state park is less than a half a mile away and there is a plethora of trails, parks, and lakes within 10 miles. We do have full time neighbors just to the North, so we ask that you be respectful and cautious with regard to dogs/noise. Hwy 101 can be very dangerous for unsuspecting pets. There are several roadside campfire stations(directly across 101 from camp) offering small bundles for $5-6/night. **Be advised that we are slowly working on the property to eventually create more camping space. There was a lot of dirt/fill brought in over the winter of 2022 and the property may not be as green as years past.** Please be our guests, relax, and enjoy!

What a great space! Getting there can be a little tricky since the Maps directions are just a little off and the gate is hard to spot from highway, but if the three of us can pull it off- anyone can! Lots of room for group camping. For its proximity to 101, the site is quiet and feels secluded. Port-a-potty was clean, the fire pit was perfect, and overall we had a great time. Would definitely return.

Close to town but still felt very private! My dogs loved all the smells. Spot was clean and easily accessible. Would definitely stay again!

Where the property sits relative to the highway, lake, and ocean. Currently you can't make it to Lilly lake or the ocean through the property. To access Lilly lake please go down Baker Beach Rd and take the Lilly Lake loop. Our property consists of 5 acres of wetland is dangerously swampy to try and hike all the way through to the lake.

Easy access, private, spot right off of 101. If traffic noise bothers you, this might not be the right spot for you. But, I’ve tent camped here twice and our group always has a good time. Quieter in the evening and you can hear the ocean in the distance. Great for big groups and dogs. Clean and routinely maintained porta potty. Will definitely stay again!

I can't say enough good things about this site. It was conveniently located about 10 minutes from Florence right off the 101. I felt spoiled staying here and having this huge place all to myself. There were so many options where to set up my tent. There's a fire pit, a picnic table, and a porta-potty with lights installed. There is a house next door but I never heard or saw anyone. Megan was very friendly and approved my request to stay there pretty quick. There are pay showers at 37th Street Coin Laundry ($4.00), and a huge Fred Meyers within a 10 minute drive from camp right as you get to Florence. I could hear the cars on the road earlier in the day, but after 10 pm I barely heard it, and slept like a baby all through the night. Between the creeking of the gate when opening, and having neighbors right there added an element of safety for me at night, and my gear if I left for a bit. I really did feel spoiled. It was perfect for me at that point on my road trip down the coast. I highly recommend it.

This was the perfect spot to pitch our tent, have a little fire and get some sleep! There is a picnic table and nice fire pit as well as decently soft and mostly flat ground area for a tent. The trees are amazing, very private area and was easy to find, even in the dark as we arrived fairly late.

Huge forest grove all to ourselves! Drive north for less than one minute for one of the best coastal views we’ve seen in our many travels. The porta-potties were the cleanest ever. So know that this site is right off the highway, but we noticed that at night there’s very little traffic, and the location can’t be beat. For some the road noise might be a bit much but we really didn’t mind. The site is nice and private, with a big picnic table and fire ring and plenty of level places to set up a tent or an RV. We will definitely return to this one.

It was perfect for myself and my dog! I’m glad I arrived early to be able to find the gate, as well as look around to figure out where best to pitch my tent. Went out to visit with some friends that night and had a difficult time trying to find the turn off in the dark- but for me that’s all a part of the fun 😉 My dog did not want to leave. We definitely will be back!!

This spot is the perfect, private piece of land I hope to find on Hipcamp. It’s right next to the 101 so super easy to get on and off during a road-trip. The highway noise is all just the swishing sound of cars, not semis & loud trucks like camping near 1-5 so it’s not bad at all and gets very quiet at night. The land is big enough to walk around a bit and stretch out. The picnic table and fire pit seating area around it are all you need. The porta potties are spotless and smell good! And the magnificent trees and all the birds in them are a real treat. We had such a lovely, peaceful stay and highly recommend to anyone needing a private respite on a camping trip on the 101.

Weekend Trip to Agate Beach Oasis

The location was amazing, right across the highway from the ocean, with several close points of access. Sarah pointed us to some local, quieter sections of the beach to access. The hot tub was perfect for this location, both to warm up from cooler Newport days (was high of 70 in Newport, while Portland/Salem were over 100) and to drown out noise from the highway. Also nice to have an outdoor fireplace, and fenced yard for pups. Only issue was bottoming out as I exited with our 45’ toy hauler. However, Victor and Sarah were incredibly helpful getting us out safely. Victor even shoveled the road to level things out a bit (and sounds like they are planning on upgrading the path to get out after our struggles). Overall, the nicest and most helpful hosts we’ve stayed with. Price was on the higher end for sure, but we did find it last minute for Labor Day weekend so given that, and all the benefits (escaping blazing heat and getting a place to ourselves on the beach with hot tub) it was relatively reasonable.

Cool site right off the highway. I recommend arriving during the day so you can find the road with the gate - at night with the sea mist it can be hard to spot! It's also hard to find where to set up your tent at night, so plan on arriving with plenty of light! The porta-potties were very clean and it was a great place to make a fire. It's private but you'll hear traffic, so I recommend bringing ear plugs. Great location - easy to access both the dunes and other surrounding attractions like the Heceta head lighthouse and Hobbit trail. Hosts were very nice and responsive - would definitely go again!

This was a very spacious camp site! It could host multiple families easily with enough foliage to provide privacy. We had such a great time! Yes, the road noise and neighbor noise (chainsaws) could get annoying at times, overall it was lovely. Bathrooms were clean!

Super beautiful and spacious spot for tent camping! It would be really nice to have some kind of water access on site for dishes and washing up, but the drive to the nearest store is less than ten minutes so we could refill our water jugs easily anyway. Very well situated campsite close to the beach.
