Located on the Eastern edge of Oregon's Coast Range, Kitten Creek Adventure Camp was designed for families, friends and groups to share special times together in a beautiful natural environment.. Situated on the Western edge of Oregon's award winning wine country, and just an hour from Newport Aquarium, 45 minutes from Tillamook, Salem, and McMinnville, 40 minutes to Lincoln City, 30 minutes from Pacific City, Tierra Del Mar/Sand Lake, and 20 minutes from the Nestucca Wildlife Refuge and Hebo! It is not a destination for drunken parties, or late night revelry. Respect for other campers is paramount. We are currently a rustic camp in an incredibly beautiful setting. You must be self contained, and carry away all garbage, and any solid human waste. We do have Toilet Buckets with Liners available for rent. The campgrounds are widely spaced, private and bordered by two creeks with a wonderful wading/swimming hole for warm days. RV's are allowed, but must be self contained. There are several excellent and fairly level sites available. In each designated camp you will find a picnic table with an umbrella, fire pit, water bucket and shovel (to put campfires out), space for tents and cooking in a beautiful setting. Beginning in August of 2022, private group camping will be available in "Maple Meadow", our own special private meadow hideaway. Three Glamping Style tents with queen beds, on decks with everything you need but sleeping bags and your food/cooking gear will be onsite! Bring your 100 closest friends or relatives and enjoy your own private park. Please contact Charlie for special group rates. All that is missing is you! Powder Creek Ranch is 362 acres, nestled into a valley, surrounded by forest in the Oregon Coast Range. The campground is in a secluded meadow next to Powder Creek, a pristine year round stream, perfect for wading and playing in. If you're looking to unplug and escape from the chaos of city life, we are all about peace and quiet and connecting with nature. Each of our 13 large campsites offers access to the creek, a picnic table and campfire ring. All sites accommodate RVs as well as tent camping. One of the campsites is next to the beaver pond, where you're likely to see a variety of wildlife. Our property also has 1/2 mile of Nestucca River frontage where you can swim or fish, whichever floats your boat. Niagara Creek/Pheasant Creek falls is a nearby hiking trail and there are deer and elk trails to explore all over the ranch. If you feel like venturing further, the beach is 23 miles away in Pacific City. We also offer pasture raised pork for sale. A variety of sausages (breakfast, chorizo, Italian, Bratwurst and Kielbasa), bacon (when available), pork chops and roasts.

Most of the campsites are about a half mile up the hill from our main entrance. So a total of about a mile to the beach. Each of our campsites are very rugged: not super flat and have jagged rock. The roads getting to each campsite are STEEP, NARROW, and have very FEW TURNAROUND OPTIONS. We recommend ONLY EXPERT drivers with 4x4 rigs. Lastly; there are no bathrooms! Please make sure you bring your own bathroom!

Water , electric and septic... Once you're off Hwy 101 you'll turn down Immonen rd. Which is 5 miles long and a bit windy.. The last 1.1 miles to summer lane rd. Is gravel so, drive with caution... Access to a shareable boat dock for a 20 ft. Or smaller boat with a private boat launch area... Spring, summer and fall Chinook and coho salmon fishing and winter steelhead. Fishing guided trips are also available.. Camp site is Big enough for 2 families with set boundaries.. Back roads good for bike riding with awesome ,coastal mountain views.. Pets are welcomed but, must be cleaned up After and always on a leash with set boundaries.. Paddle boarding is welcomed ( boards not included) no jet skis allowed..

Riverberry Retreat Camp

Riverberry is the perfect setting to get outside and connect with nature. Relax on the riverfront, go for a swim under a waterfall, fish, hike, rockhound, and explore old growth rainforest, located on the beautiful and pristine North Fork Nehalem River. There is plenty of room for private or group camping. Sites are secluded and firewood, ice and fresh eggs are for sale on site; shared portable toilets for camp guests and potable water is available at the homestead for filling your containers. The North Fork Nehalem river is home to some of the best salmon and steelhead fishing around. It is still a wild place and not uncommon to see deer, elk, beaver, bald eagles, coyotes and a very rare bear sighting. You will be a 20 minute drive away from the coast in Manzanita for beach beach combing, farmers market, unique shops, epic hikes and local cuisine. Just past Manzanita, another 10-20 mins further, are Cannon Beach and Seaside. Check-in is from 2-7pm. If you need accommodations outside of that time frame please give us at least 24 hour notice. Rsvp are subject to cancellation without 24 hour notice of late arrival. We are happy to offer suggestions or answer any questions you have about your stay, just ask!

Hello, we are right at the bottom of the saddle mountain area. We have a little piece of heaven, there are four ponds and a creek that runs through our property. We have open fields as well as some areas with timber. We see lots of wildlife, elk and deer mostly but also bald eagles, falcons, hearing and others. Feel like you're in the middle of nowhere while being just a few minutes from town and the beach.
