Weekend Trip to Creekside camping with showers

My partner and I had the cabin on the creek for a night and it was absolutely wonderful. Relaxing, cozy, affordable. Brenda was incredibly friendly and generous, and the sound of the creek all evening just melted my tension away. We cannot wait to come by again!

1 night at Buena Vista Lavender Farm

This was my fourth stay at the lavender farm. My little dog loves it because he can run without a leash and he’s safe. I have stayed 3 times at the tiny house and once at the tiny big house. Connie the host is lovely as is her husband and daughter. They’ve always made sure that I have had a lovely stay every time

Weekend Trip to CasaHome

Cute and modern fixings with all the essential amenities! We loved the bedding and the skylight above the bed that opens to let in fresh air and sounds of rain and birds chirping. Tea Kettle was much appreciated and the hosts were very responsive with questions and accommodations! Perfect distance from busy downtown without being far from good food and drink. Off the Griddle was our brunch spot, highly recommend. Thanks, Pete!

1 night at Buena Vista Lavender Farm

The tiny house was lovely nice shower and toilet and a balcony to sit out on. And my dog was able to run around except I put him on the leash when we went to look at the farm and the animals. There was internet and tv and it was private and peaceful. If there had been availability I would’ve stayed an extra night. There was also a bed to sleep upstairs but I preferred to sleep downstairs. It was perfect.

Staying at Whimsical Loft Studio feels like crashing at a cool friend’s place—comfortable, inviting, and full of fun, creative energy. It’s as cool as it looks, but not in a staged way—you can tell interesting people live here. The hobby and craft supplies add charm, and the sound of rain on the metal roof made for the best sleep I’ve had in years. The host is communicative, responsive, and generous.

2 nights at Waterfront Retreat and Event Venue

Michelle was the greatest host ever! Super friendly , super welcoming 🤗 The tiny house village is truly one of a kind! She thought of every single detail when building them - we stayed at the Tiny Perch - the cutest little cabin with everything in it one might need to feel comfortable- from a full kitchen with appliances to a bathroom with a tiny shower, a super comfy bed. And even bins for pets with towels and 💩 bags in case you needed some extra She really thought of everything!!! And the labeling- what an amazing idea!!! It’s like this all comes with instructions 😍 I can’t recommend them enough - will definitely be back and not once! For sure!!! The forest and the river are the cherry on top!

Weekend Trip to Sacred Falls Sanctuary

Lodging was beautiful, minimalist, & natural, which is what I was looking for. The land, trails, & waterfalls on this property are truly one of a kind. I recommend this place to everyone seeking to deepen their connection with Nature. I wasn't able to get to the cave this time, but I'll be back☺️☺️. The host was amazing, attentive & there for anything I needed.

1 night at Buena Vista Lavender Farm

My only regret about this stay was that it wasn’t longer. I stayed in the Big Tiny House and it was adorable! It had everything I needed and more. There were so many little touches and the sunset and sunrise were stunning. I hope I get to stay again some time!

2 nights at Stomping Hollow Retreat

The tiny house is so beautiful and cozy inside, i just LOVE the bed by those big windows- it was the perfect solo birthday getaway spot. The property is beautiful and fun to explore while not being so big I would worry about getting lost. The only thing that I would say is that if you plan to do a lot of cooking, maybe consider bringing some of your own tools from home. The kitchen has a great hot plate but just one pan (no pots), just one spatula, and only salt for the provided spices. I made it work for just me for 2 nights but with another person or a longer stay it might be hard to make more elaborate meals! But overall I absolutely loved my stay. Would definitely come back :)

Creekside campground with showers has 4 separate sites: 1. The campground with a kitchen and hot/cold potable water and 20 amps of power. Includes 3-4 picnic tables and a covered stage area with power. This can hold 8-10 large tents comfortably. Price includes up to 10 people. Children under 12 are not counted and are free (except to their parents). 2. Tiny Creekside cabin has no power and a queen size bed with bedding and towels included. Sleeps 2 with about 120 SF (tiny) includes 150 SF covered deck. You may add tents around the cabin but must add the guests under extras so you pay for additional tents/people. No kitchen with cabin. This site has a private fire pit. 3. Creekside RV - retro trailer newer looks like a 50's diner. Has fridge, stove top, microwave, electric hot water kettle and Air Conditioning. This is a nice addition to the other sites due to the AC and fridge. RV is parked next to creek across from campground. The toilet is not connected (please use Portable toilet next to trailer). 4. A cabin in the trees 12'x20' with queen bed and all bedding included. No Kitchen in the Cabin, The cabin includes a picnic table, fire pit, hammock, and outdoor bench and chairs. No Electricity. All sites have shared access to hot showers, portable toilets, and potable water next to Outdoor kitchen and dinning area. Guests love staying with us; "Brenda's property is fantastic. We had a gathering of friends for a long weekend on this property (rented the cabin too) and had the best time. Having the creek to splash around in, warm running water for showers and washing dishes, trails to explore, and the delivery of fresh produce and eggs from the property far exceeded our expectations. Brenda is the best host - she answered all my questions quickly and was very generous with our group. Definitely recommend!"

Sacred Falls Sanctuary is a special place unlike any other, which you’ll experience when you’re standing in front of our lower Grotto Falls, feeling the cool, misty wind blowing across your face, or slipping into the grotto pool at the top of the falls, carved from the solid rock. Or perhaps you’ll feel it while meditating inside our small cave, feeling like you’ve stumbled into the land that time forgot. If you need a sanctuary, a place of retreat, some calming and healing solitude, this is the place for you. The land around Sacred Falls Sanctuary was one of the original pioneer homesteads on this traditional Cowlitz tribal land. Besides our magical falls and forest, we also have some bucolic farm vistas across our wide open pastures, including a small apple orchard, and our giant 120-year old barn that still stands from the original homestead. If you like animals, we have a horse, pony, four goats, two cats, and two dogs who make their home here, as well as lots of wild animals, including eagles, elk, and coyote that can be seen from the back pasture. In summer, we have gardens, and wild edible plants in the forest, like oxalis and chanterelle mushrooms. In August, we’re practically a u-pick blackberry farm. As a heads up, this is a super rustic but still working farm, which means it has giant hunks of old rusting tractor parts, random farm junk, and various kind of practical but not always beautiful fencing left around by the owner. I am not the ‘owner’, but the steward for this land; I’m also queer, trans, and an indigenous shamanic practitioner.
